From the aroma of fresh, high quality coffee to the wooden earthy, natural color theme of the inside of the shop, it is a pleasant experience. The Japanese custom of paying attention to detail and caring for each coffee bean, much like sushi when it comes to rice, is surely not lost here. I am an impatient person, but I actually enjoy waiting here for my beans to be roasted. The black coffee is so good, it reminds me of my time in Japan.”

Our bartender was fabulous, our meal, Branzino.. delicious, eye appealing, beautiful presentation and enough to split We met the owner who spent ample time with us as we asked questions about his journey opening the location, his background and the concept/vision for the restaurant and we met the GM. I loved the ambiance, open and welcoming and they have a mercado with authentic product. Next time I'm going to the pizza bar with some more birthday girls!”

“My family and I usually love Jizake and have been to this place multiple times over the years. However after last nights dinner not sure if we will come back. The first issue is that the server forgot to bring us 3 of our appetizers. I also noticed that my hot sake wasn't very hot and that they have trimmed down the size of their rolls. During the meal it became obvious to all of us outside that they were using a wifi speaker and whoesever phone it was hooked up to must have been moving around since the music was going in and out. Lastly while asking for the check I instructed the server to take the appetizers off our bill since we didn't receive them. He said he would and when he came back I was given a hand written bill with the break down. To his credit those appetizers were shown but not charged. I totaled up each line item and everything seemed correct as the subtotal was $170 with tax total should have been $183.17. However after taking my credit card he came back saying they totaled our bill incorrectly and apologized. Our new printed bill after charging my credit card didn't show the pricing break down for all the items but it appears that they added back in the money for the appetizers as with tax it came to $196.11 plus tip. By this point we just wanted to leave. After getting home we started not feeling so well. We don't usually have any bad reactions to sushi so maybe it was some sort of cross contamination issue. Either way I would caution everyone while eating at this establishment.”

“This is our new fave pizza spot. The pizza is super thin so order accordingly. The pepperoni and honey pizza with burrata was delicious but is a 3-4 slice per person to be full. First impressions are everything. I was verbally greeted right away. There are an assortment of children's toys inside to the left, which was a little off putting to a healthcare worker like me. Maybe I am missing the concept, but there was a cute Starwars leggo display to the right in one of the bakery cases, but not really going with the aesthetic theme of Butter + Cream, I'm not sure if they were edible or made to order? Shelves looked a little bare for the take away treat section, but it was late on a Sunday. I would recommend adding Italian sweet treats or drinks to the fridge to bulk it up or a sign to indicate, Tasted Too Good, More To Come, so we don't feel like you are about to close. You should also have a display of pictures of your cupcake and available baked goods even if only made to order so we will have something to remember later when we need baked goods for an event etc...They don't offer parmesan or red pepper flakes and I have to tell you, once you eat the pizza you won't give a damn about that or the children's toys. The ranch is pricey but we ate every drop. You will be back.”

Happy hour is a great deal. Dog friendly patio is a plus but tight so leave the yappy dogs at home.

Had a number of different servers/assistants and they’ve all been super lovely.

Food is very consistent and delicious. Just has that good, locally owned je ne sais quoi.

“I love getting the harvest bowl here! (Although personally I sub out the goat cheese for an egg) Its been my treat dinner during finals and they always deliver. It is a bit pricey for a salad, but they are seriously good, and good for you so I dont mind spending a bit more. The restaurant is usually empty or has 1 to 2 people which can be a bit odd, but I usually get my salads to go so I don't mind.”
