“My daughter, mother and I chose Jack’s for our GNO. We had such a lovely time!. Even though the restaurant was packed, it still had a family friendly, mom and pop time of vibe. Our server was Cruz and he was very attentive, warm and welcoming. The portions were quite large and the food was DELICIOUS. You could taste the love in every bite. Even though we were all happy with my food, I couldn’t help but notice how good the dishes around me looked also (especially the pork chop!!). We will definitely be back again soon so I can try other things.”

“I wondered how I could eat well on vacation. Vibe was across the street from my rental and I was so happy to find it! Meal problem solved! I bought a couple of bowls and a wrap during my stay. “We had intended to go to a different restaurant this night and stumbled upon Carmelita’s and I’m so glad we did! This was my first time in and everything was super good. Taste was excellent, atmosphere was great, sat outside, but beyond everything the service was remarkable. We sat at Eddie’s table and he greeted us with such care and intention, we thought he was the owner of the restaurant. He was so kind, funny, personable, and had great recommendations on the food. He even made a drink special to my preferences and assured me that if I didn’t like it, he would replace. It was perfect, and didn’t need replacement but he was truly above and beyond. We were laughing with him and we’ll definitely be back.”

“The service at Thai This is beyond compare, every employee there is friendly, helpful, and helps to create a great experience whether eating in to-go. We walked in to order to-go food and they seated us and brought us bottled water, again, service beyond compare. Now to the food, the Crispy Noodles (#1) are to die for...makes a great dessert. The Nutty Noodles chicken (#54) were great, and the Kiss Me Not garlic pork was so flavorful. They also included some tempura vegetables which were super yummy. So if you're looking for yummy food, at a great price, and with incredible service, Thai This should be your next dinner night out.”

“Fun place, great beer, killer music, and friendly owner. Christian, the owner, is always friendly, plays great music, and will always remember they type of beer you like. Also they have a great selection. By selection, I don't mean only a variety of IPAs. They stock Belgian whits, triples, stouts, porters, lagers, and of course, the obligatory IPAs. Also have a bevy of games as well. If you see me there, open invitation to anyone who is up for a game of chess”

“OK, been near this place before with the restaurant next-door the vibe which is really good too. But Le Saint is fantastic. Had the reference “OK madame and just so French so good just what a great day to spend a lazy morning enjoying the town and enjoying good food. The service was outstanding. Super nice super kind helpful knowledgeable Patient just good people. Will be coming back again. Our next trip to Dana point.”

He was so fun, so attentive, so friendly. You'd think he was just one of our group. He made us feel welcome and watched over. I can't wait to come back to Salt Creek! And, Yes! “Food: Sushi rolls were excellent and pretty competitive prices. My favorite was the caterpillar. Fish quality was excellent. Avocado and cucumber was fresh and sushi didn't taste like it had sugar in it which was excellent.!

Service: Sucks. They are impatient, rude, and quick to walk away and pretend they didn't hear you. For example I asked if a waiter could remove a plate. He ignored me and signaled at the busboy to pick up the plate instead. Even the busboy realized that was odd.”

Our scooper was very friendly and made recommendations of her favorite flavors. I went with the s'mores flavor, and I would encourage anyone to try it!”

“We stopped by Dana Point to visit Salt Creek and to my surprise, there was a Rita’s! We’re from Philadelphia so we were very surprised and happy to find a Rita’s! We ordered a blueberry and watermelon gelati and it was delicious! The custard YUM. The Italian ice— perfect consistency! Thank you for your fine establishment!”

“Had heard about the “best” bagel spots in Dana Point and was eager to take my (large) family, but the ordering process was a bit chaotic and most bagels were out. In their defense this was late morning so a good sign that customers come early and often. That said, I was disappointed by the BLT which was “naked”… trying their bagels and cream cheese I had expected the BLT have at least mayo or some type of spread, but rafher I received a dry BLT. However, I will say their bagels were solid overall and the portion sizes were good. I would give it another shot next time I’m in the area.”

One thing that has always disappointed me about Moulin is the size of their lattes—they're just too small. I wish they offered larger latte options on the menu. Other than that, everything was good, and I would probably come back more often if they served bigger lattes.”

This is our go to spot and the food is consistently excellent and the service is amazing. Fern and Eke are the best and will make you feel so welcome and taken care of. It’s the most charming atmosphere and we’ve never had anything other than a great experience here and we’ve been going for years. Highly recommend the Tom Kha Soup, pad Thai, and crying tiger. Oh and ginger tea.

With that being said, I have stopped to thank Ms. Karina. I have to say visiting subway and getting the service provided by her made my day. It had been a tough day but watching her get my order done while asking me about my day and best of all listening to my answer was a plus. Although Karina did not have to listen, she did. Best of all she even suggested other ingredients to add to my usual simple tuna sandwich, which made my meal a lot more satisfying and delicious. I’m impressed and thankful for Karina’s knowledge and dedication to her job. She true is a great asset to Subway and it is very obvious to me she loves her job. I just wished I would have taken the time to tell her while I was there of what an amazing person she is. I do hope to see her again when I’m back in the area and this time I’ll ask her to help me create the chicken salad she also suggested. Thank you”

I got the seasonal smores cold brew, which they were able to modify and make it half caf since I’m pregnant. My husband got the PB cup cold brew, and we kept switching off because both were amazing. “So yummy! The girls were very helpful to make changes to the menu items. The vegan banana bread was good. They asked if I wanted the end or middle piece which I forget to ask sometimes.

Got a pina colada smoothie, I would probably do strawberry instead of banana next time. It was tasty but I love strawberry with coconut in general. My partner had the Swami, switched bananas for blueberry and couldn’t stop smacking on it! Forgot to take the picture before eating it.
