“The Beach Club is a great perk for guests staying at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach. It’s right by the beach with plenty of seating where you can relax, enjoy the ocean views, and watch the sunset.
They provide pretty much everything you need for a beach day, including beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, bottled water, sunscreen, and even beach toys for kids. There’s also a restaurant at the club, so you can easily spend a few hours or most of the day there.The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle between the resort and the Beach Club, which makes getting there and back very convenient.
One small downside was that the beach could have been kept a little tidier. There were quite a few used towels left scattered around the sand that weren’t picked up right away.“

“This is a stellar restaurant with a great family-owned vibe. Chef Rob is brilliant and the apps, entrees, and desserts are all exquisite. His creativity that he lets loose in his Flight Club events is unparalleled. They have extra-friendly staff and elite customer service. And the fine dining experience comes with a fair price and an amazing value. Check it out and meet the Chef, you won’t be disappointed.“

“We had a wonderful celebratory birthday dinner last night. The meal was outstanding and our server was the perfect balance of attentiveness and good humor. I had one of the evening's specials: grilled sea bass in beurre blanc—crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. It was accompanied by perfectly prepared brocollini and potatoes. I couldn't resist the taramisu—always my favorite end to the meal. It was a delight!“

“Very nice establishment. The food was great. Pictured is the scallops dish and the fettuccine dish. Both were delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have really good desserts too. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.“

“This is our go-to post surf tacos. My favorite here is the special octopus tacos and the husband the birria tacos. We ordered a side of tater tots for $1.50. If you haven’t been, go. If you’re a sports guy, they have TV with sports, service is fast and it’s our perfect post surf spot.“

“The food? IMPECCABLE. I went with a large group of friends and we decided to try just about everything, sharing around the table. Yum! Best. Idea. Ever. The Ambiance was just as we had hoped - ideal for us to comfortably hang out and yap a bit. It was a perfectly fun and inviting atmosphere. The service? AMAZING. We had Mikey as our server. He was so fun, so attentive, so friendly. You'd think he was just one of our group. He made us feel welcome and watched over. I can't wait to come back to Salt Creek! And, Yes! We are asking for Mikey! So should you!“

“Tried this poke spot and honestly it exceeded expectations. The ingredients were super fresh, portions were generous, and everything was packed with flavor. The staff were friendly and the service was quick too. Definitely one of the best poke places I’ve been to — I’ll for sure be coming back.“
