“This food truck is tucked in the same lot as George’s Episcopal Church. Pro tip: map the church so you don’t get lost. There are several eateries in that lot, but don’t get distracted just look for the green food truck and you’ll know you’ve found the right spot!

I came here right after my workout and ordered food to go. OMG, I had no idea the tacos were humongous! They are literally the size of my palm spread out! Jeeesuz!

I ordered three tacos:

Gobernador: I didn’t get to it until the next day, but the shrimp were so big and juicy, and that Chipotle aioli? Pure genius. I could put that on everything!
Octopus: The only one I ate fresh that day and oh my goodness, flavor explosion! The melted cheese, the seasoning, the texture… everything about it is 10/10!
Spicy Shrimp: I accidentally doubled up on shrimp tacos so I saved this one for the next day too, still delicious, still worth it.

Service can take a little while since there’s only one person taking orders and they’re cooking everything fresh in the truck, but trust me , it’s absolutely worth the wait!

Who would’ve thought a little food truck could make such a big impact? Don’t sleep on this hidden gem please come and taste the goodness for yourself!“

“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.“

“After seeing one of our YouTuber friends' videos where he's enjoying fish tacos in San Diego (lucky guy) we thought of doing the same thing in OC. As we had to be in Laguna Hills for business purposes, Baja popped up as a nice opportunity. Place looks inviting, nice interior. Ordering was quite easy, Ensenada style tacos for my better half, blackened fish for me. $5.50 for each would have been a shocker awhile back but OK for an experience it's fine to stomach. A side of chips however is $5.00 which IS rather shocking.... but what are tacos without chips and salsa right? Two waters to complete the meal and it was good, fish prepped and seasoned nicely and the soft tacos not soggy. Earth moving, no but it does the job. What was nice though, 1. we had proper plates and flatware, none of the plastic stuff that gets disposed and 2. the place was kept very clean. Recommended? Yes.“

“Really good spot for classic Chinese food. The dishes are flavorful, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The atmosphere feels authentic and comfortable.

Service was solid, but not always the fastest during busy times. Also, some dishes can be a bit inconsistent depending on the day.

“The staff here is excellent!!!! These guys are always running around doing their best to serve people. I FORGOT you okay it the front so bring cash for a tip. I felt I didnt5 leave as much as I sgould have, I'm sorry. Really awesome and welcoming. Haven't been here since I was a kid. Totally fun for the nostaliga love. The salad bar was awesome, glad to see it open again. Good prices for everything as well. Life you get tons of healthy options here! They still have the cheese toast! That was my treat with the salad. The food is good and simple. Perfect spot for picky eaters, I saw plenty of kids getting food and actually eating it.“

“Dining at Rosewood Social is always a treat. We enjoy taking in the San Juan vibe, on their outdoor patio, as we savor the delicious flavors of their Asian Fusion dishes. My favorites are their Bang Bang Shrimp Appetizer followed by the Chilean Seabass with sauteed bok choy & rice, served with a delicious thai basil Asian dipping sauce. “A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. I tried one each of three taco choices. Avoiding breaded and fried food, the Cajun Shrimp and Cajun Fish tacos were very good and filling. The grilled chicken was taken to-go because the tacos are nicely filled, not street tacos.

The shrimp and avocado salad looked good although they use a substantial amount of dressing.“

“I went today for the first time and had a half dozen, I forgot the name of the oyster but they were from baja California and briney. Very delicious. I left wishing I got the full dozen. The fish and chips were also great. I wish I remembered the name of our server because he was super informative and helpful. We will definitely be back, and next time I'm getting a full dozen for sure.“

“I love eating at Jack's! A friend once said that it captures the vibe of a local place in New York or Boston, and I agree! The food is excellent and some of their specials are really special, such as the Double Cut Pork Chop Milanese (Thursdays only)! The atmosphere is warm without being overwhelmingly loud, and the staff is professional and welcoming. Jack's presents a good dining experience with confidence, and I always enjoy myself.“

“The Lumberyard located in beautiful downtown Laguna Beach is a great place to have lunch or dinner. There is a new $16 lunch menu and I decided to try the fish tacos. There was a choice between salmon or halibut for the tacos which included shredded cabbage with a pink cream sauce and a side of black bean and corn salad. I chose the halibut for my taco and it was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion of fish in each of the tacos so it could easily be split with a friend. The service was excellent. Our orders were taken within about five minutes of sitting down and the food came out quickly after we ordered. I would recommend the Lumberyard if you are visiting Laguna Beach. You will need to have reservations during the Art Festivals or when there is a play at the Playhouse.“
