“Convenient parking may be available in front of restaurant. There are only a handful of tables with seating for about 36 people. Always full so reservations are recommended. The service is friendly and efficient. They’re very keen to ensure you enjoy your stay and your meal. The hospitality is top notch and we enjoyed our lunch. Our first time here and we are bookmarking this place to come back. The food is delicious, generous portions and meats are wonderfully well seasoned and tender. The decor is pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Great dining experience!“
“This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in this area. It's fast, consistent, and great portions. I have been coming to the Lake Forest location since 2006 and haven't had a single bad experience. I mostly order the Carne Enchiladas combo and a side of guacamole. My #2 choice is the chicken platter. Comes with tortillas and a big portion of chicken. You can make little tacos with it and mix the remainder together. If you get the fish options, it's better when it's blackened.“
“I just love kings fish house! The food is great, the atmosphere is comfy and our waitress was awesome! I absolutely love the miso yaki sea bass. The sauce is too gingery for me. So, I just order the sea bass without it. Five stars all around.Dietary restrictions: My son has a very bad dairy allergy and our waitress made sure that nothing with dairy was served to him.“
“FOOD- 5 Stars Service-3 Stars Ambiance-3Stars Don't expect a good service in this Restaurant as they really busy , and sometimes even rude., try to kick your ass out , to serve the nx costumer, Food quality , I should say a place to go around Lake Forest Area. Ambiance- No ambiance.“
“My favourite restaurant… when I’m working near here I eat here every night. Staff are all lovely- Dominic always greets me like an old friend and I usually get my favourite table. The menu is simple and steady but everything always perfectly cooked and presented, nice and hot. The new key lime pie is great too.“
“My family decided to eat lunch here. We had ceviche, chowder for appetizers and scallops, fish and chips, and sea bass for the main entrees. All tasty and came with great portions. All seafoods and salads are extremely fresh and refreshing with lemon flavored sauces. Servers are very kind. One downside is that fried sea bass was very dry and not tender at all. Halibut was juicy and tender but dried Sea Bass?“
“So after reading about this Hillstone copycat we finally decided to try it. Houston’s which is one of the Hillstone brands has changed their signature Tortilla Soup recipe and not liking the new version I decided to try the Coastal Kitchen version. I rate it a 9.5 copy of the original from Houston’s. It needed a little more cheese but was excellent in every other aspect and it alone will bring me back. The starter salad with the honey mustard dressing was on point and actually better than Houston’s. Our guests had the chowder which in every way resembled the Houston’s version. Their French Dip was enjoyed by our other guest and the fries were perfect. My wife’s blackened grouper sandwich was merely ok and quite frankly since most of the menu is an excellent Hillstone knockoff then I would suggest recreating the Gulfstream Gulf Coast Style Fish Sandwich. The only negative menu item we sampled was the Chicken BLT. It was not awful but the chicken was overcooked as was the bacon and it doesn’t even come close to competing with the Ding’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich at the Hillstone locations. I’m all for innovation and signature changes but if you’re going to do that then maintain the same high quality and taste standard for all the menu items. All of us agreed we will be back to try the rest of the menu for lunch and dinner. Service was excellent and the atmosphere although a little acoustically challenging was comfortable and inviting. I came close to rating this establishment five stars but they just fall a little short of that mark. Still well worth a visit and I hope to revise my rating in the future. Look out Hillstone you have a worthy challenger and that’s high praise in itself.“
“Bloom is the #1 spot for brunch! I love the location, the food, and the ambiance! The people who work there are also exception, especially our server, Makenzie! She was friendly and informative about the dishes. I highly recommend the waffles! Will definitely visit again “
“Overall experience was great- our waiter was not overly attentive once he found out we would not be drinking and felt frustrated that we were not ready to order immediately once our final party member arrived. The food was really good and it was a bit noisy initially but quieted a bit as dinner went on.“
“I love this place, the food is delicious and exclusive, the chef does a great job. The atmosphere is perfect, you enjoy your stay in the restaurant. The welcome is always very friendly and the service is respectful, friendly and helpful. Super recommended, don't hesitate to enjoy a good dish and an incredible atmosphere, it's worth it.“
“This isn't your typical surf shack joint. Typical beach cafes don't serve beef short rib sandwiches. Much of their menu is a step above what you'd likely be expecting from a location like this. From the outside it looks unassuming and familiar. You walk up, order, find a spot and grub. As far as I can tell, you don't need shoes or a shirt just an appetite. It's not refined or snoody, it's just damn good. They season their chips. The lowly give-away that most places serve stale as low-cost hunger appeasement filler, is done fresh and treated with care. Putting forth effort into making the most basic parts of the menu delicious means they really want everything they put out to be delicious. The thought and care behind the quality of their items is often sought but rarely found. Also, the salsa with their chips is really bomb. You can't go wrong with the BBQ short rib sandwich, chowder fries, or fresh ceviche.“
“What a beautiful restaurant, overlooking the ocean and outside were fire pits and hanging lights. We watched the sail boats pass by and the sun slowly set. The food was absolutely delicious and the dessert was of Michelin starred quality. Our booking was at 5.30 and we left at 8.30 - the service was very slow - we'd been there half an hour before our food order was taken. And every course was slow to arrive. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty. Would recommend as long as you don't mind a slow evening.“
“We had a dinner party for 12 to celebrate a birthday. Roux created a custom menu for us. They were ready when we arrived and the table was set beautifully. The wait-staff was courteous and prompt. The food was just amazing- from the appetizers to the entrees; everything was excellent. The cook even made a point of saying Hello. We will definitely be back!“
“Great all -american fare,we are on the patio which is clean and relaxing our waitress Janel.was a doll,so helpful, attentive and together, explained how the dishes were prepared that we were interested in and just all together made our dining experience first class.I had the seafood bisque soup which was perfect, not much of it but it was delicious. The Swordfish entre with mash potatoes and sauteed vegetables was great, the, swordfish was prepared just right as were the vegetables and potatoes, just the right amount of seasoning and the vegetables sauteed in a sauce that was light and tasty. All I all the food, service and ambience were just right,I would suggest asking for Janel.as your waitress we returned for dinner a few days later, food was still just as good but our server was fine, but nowhere near as good as Janel.who was working that evening but was super busy with a bunch of other tables, but she helped us just because she could see we needed a couple of things and was close by and because she really is that good at her job and cares,am A -Class Person and waitress. This place is well worth the visit.Vegetarian options: Not a great place for vegetarians,I saw NO vegetarian or Vegan four way tasting offering.Parking: Saffire is definitely worth a visit, great food, not unreasonably priced, portions are honestly a little small for my liking(but that's me) but would highly recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp at both entrances, very easily accessible.“
“Always fantastic. The kung pow calamari is delicious.Tonight I tried the Roasted Cauliflower, amazing with olive oil pesto, Hummis. I'm sure to have it again. Its busy for the Pagent of the Masters, so get there early.Update: As alway great food, great service. I love the roasted cauliflower. I have noticed the portion of cauliflower has gotten larger, almost a whole cauliflower. The prices have gone up slightly, to be expected in these times of continued inflation.I will continue to return for more great food and service.Vegetarian options: Salads and Cauliflower“
“The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable, the service was excellent, and the food was superb. We started out with a buffalo mozzarella and tomato in an age, balsamic vinegar, and then shared an Osso Buco entrée between my wife and I. One of the best Osso Buco we have ever had. And my wife and I are foodies.“
“Such a fun atmosphere and excellent food! Our server Gabriel was friendly and helpful. He recommended the chile relleno and the Branzino and both were uniquely delicious. We also ordered the octopus ceviche for an appetizer and it was tender with incredible flavor. We also shared their homemade soft serve ice cream which was the best I’ve had. We shared this between 4 people and it was plenty of food. We are full, happy, and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend if you want a great meal in a beautiful place!“
“Top notch Sushi! I've been coming here since they opened and I'm in love with this place. First, Chef Masa is the nicest most friendly Chef there is, and all his staff are friendly and spot on with water refills and quick service. The fish he gets is some of the freshest and best quality out there. For cooked food Try the salmon collar. It's the melt in your mouth part of the salmons neck and cheek, and prepared expertly! Everything I've had, from the fresh oysters, the halibut carpaccio, the Takowasa, and Takoyaki, they spicy yellow tail lover roll and al the sashimi- has been perfect. Can't recommend enough !“
“WOW-WOW-WOW! I had a 4 week trip all over Brazil in 2009 and the highlight of was the food! This place is exactly what I experienced during my visit. It tastes like there's a mother or grandmother making the food for us ? highly recommend “
“Met a friend for happy hour at the bar. The female bartender was very friendly and acknowledged my presence immediately. Since the restaurant wasn't busy, my drink was made quickly. The happy hour menu has a nice selection of food choices to choose from and I ordered the cheese pizza which was excellent. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese on top of a delicious thin crust. As for the ambiance, it's a fairly typical bar with at least 8 seats at the bar and enough tables to seat multiple parties. If you're looking for good food, a cold drink and a local place to meet a friend, give Antonucci's a try.“
“I've visited Zip Korean bbq several times now, whether with my boyfriend or family, and each visit has been consistently great. Atmosphere is good and the service is excellent. The quality of the meats and food is always delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great ayce spot.“
“OPAH is a sure thing! I had the mahi mahi with the French onion soup -it was excellent! You get what you pay for & I would pay for this meal again & again! Kevin is an outstanding personable server & he is the reason we like to go! He brings professionalism to his work and is so knowledgeable. I would go to OPAH just to see him!“
“A rare, true beach bar in California. One of the best gems on the coast, everybody, there is so cheerful and very polite. Drinks and food are wonderful . Views are stunning -best service by far-Complete with surf music and right off the sand. Watch, surfers and dolphins and occasional whales while drinking your favorite cocktail, does it get any better?“
“Ambience was wonderful, our waiter suburb, my lamb rack , above and beyond. My husband ordered ravioli with lobster scallops, shrimp. Really. 5 star meal and service, feel fortunate that they are here in Mission Viejo!! Love this restaurant ❤️“
“We dined on Jan 19 and it was a great dinner! The host was super polite and friendly and our server Brandon I hope I'm saying it correctly was super great and knowledgeable and kind! We had salmon tartar , calamari and the fish and chip was super delicious! Definitely recommend and will be coming back!“
“Not sure if my review was posted but....Will come here again... Alonzo was an excellent waiter....very kind and patient..took the time to answer my questions and made sure I had a good dining experience... The loaded baked potato was delicious.. perfect place for a birthday dinner...“
“Probably one of the best seafood experiences I’ve ever had. Was surprisingly cheap for how much food we got. We got the calamari, street corn, clam chowder, and fish /shrimp tacos. All were 10/10. Also had to buy a couple bottles of their house hot sauce, which was crazy good.“
“Amazing service, fabulous food!! Enjoy our meal! Love the asparagus fries...one of the best linguini and clam sauce I ever had!! Best tiramisu too! Only concern is that the bathroom needs to be checked in on more frequently...a bit dirty. The restaurant could use a little bit of an update...but will certainly return soon!!~“
“You know that type of family that you dread coming to visit you but you have to be nice to them because they only visit once every few years? Yeah... I made the mistake of bringing a family member here yesterday. She was so rude to the waiter. The waiter was wonderful, answered all of our questions, helped with recommendations, and checked up on us often. And even when the family member in question was rude to the waiter and kept trying to show him pictures of a restaurant she visited overseas on her phone. The waiter very politely viewed her photos and described the dishes she had eaten. The waiter was very professional! The food was amazing and it was a good amount of food for the price. They have vegetarian options and meat options for us carnivores. The restaurant was empty since this restaurant is hidden from street view but it is worth the trip. I know I will be ordering from here more often and leaving that rude family member at home. Thank you to the cooks and the staff at this restaurant! You are all amazing! Great food, quiet environment, and professional staff. The dessert was also very tasty! Fresh mango and vanilla pudding. Delicious! They also have take-out and a huge menu to choose from. Don't skip out on this place! Leave the mean family members at home and eat here.“
“My family and I were looking for a Mexican restaurant to have dinner on the way to San Diego. I found this El Coyotito on Yelp and saw the had handmade tortillas. I was sold. Everything we had was delicious. My daughter is super picky and she loved her food. The staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was very clean as well. We'll definitely be back the next time we drive down.“
“Our meal here was absolutely fantastic... We tried the hummus and liver pate appetizers to start, our companions had the salmon and we tried the lemon sole and lamb(the Volcano). Everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. Great service and yes one could carry on a conversation...“
“This by far the best Poke bowl restaurant in SoCal! The food is always fresh and the staff is really polite and helpful if you want to try something new. It's always clean and has simple and mellow atmosphere. You won't find a better selection and service any where else!Parking: Underground parking is free when they stamp your ticket. Always space to park.“
“Atmosphere is nice. Inside dining and outside. Service was good. They're very kind and amazing here. I've had there lomo Saltado and pariuella in the past. Both fire. Today tried something new. The Peruvian paella was soooo fire. Also my wife had the pollo saltado that she said was great as well. Thanks Inkas....“
“Food, u can find better in grocery store cold section.Service, u may found one of two good waiter. But the rest, lol.But If ur correct skin color, i think you may get better service. I was there for one hour waiting for my food and check. Waiters treat different people very differently.View, my hotel room has a better view.“
“This restaurant is set inside Mess Hall. A communal modern food court. The ribeye tacos were excellent but a little rich for my taste (ribeye is my fav cut of meat). I loved their taquitos and salad ? as well. Great options. We will def go “
“This restaurant specializes is poki bowls (rice base with sushi). It’s kinda a build your own, with choices for rice, the sushi, and the toppings. The food is extraordinary, fresh, and very tasty. The rice is a bit underwhelming, but still very good. The location is a bit of a hole in the wall, with minimal parking, a liquor store next door (in case you really need that drink!), and a sign for “tattoos”. I’m not really sure if they do Tattoos here, but maybe? Or maybe it’s just an inside joke? This is the place you come to and order to go. While they do have tables in the parking lot, I’m not sure I want to eat next to running cars in a filthy parking lot…“
“I was looking forward to dining and having drinks on the Deck here for a couple months now, it's my 62nd birthday (Golden Birthday) so I wanted something close so we could walk back to the Pacific Edge Hotel. We were not disappointed. I had the Muscle and Clam soup, ( Laguna Cioppino) and as I was digging my way through the pile of meat and shells, I rediscovered my love for shellfish. The broth itself was absolutely delicious. Had to tip the entire large bowl with both hands to drink the delicious liquid. The Clams and Muscles were numerous, Also found several very large shrimp in the bowl, it was like a hunt for treasure right in my bowl. Excellent meal. Couldn't finish all the shellfish. Also tried several drinks, actually, many drinks, I think,? one of which was the Liquid Vacation, I posted a couple pictures of our meal and this particular drink because it was so good ?. We will be back over the next few days. Came back next day, today we tried the Tower of Seafood, it was great except for a couple things, the half lobster should be a whole tail, whoever heard of serving half a tail? This dish is for couples to share, needs more of everything for 109$ a serving. ?“
“This place is 3 minutes from my office. Friendly staff, quick service, and great quality poke bowl! I come here to treat myself now and again. 10/10 recommend. Dining inside is a bit of a tight squeeze, so I highly suggest you come before the lunch time rush or just take out. :)“
“One of my families favorites. Been going for years, it has always been excellent. Sandy and Shu do a great job in the front of the house and we all love the food. Favorites include Yosi's crispy fish, mala scallops and chicken. My wife loves the sesame shrimp with walnuts or aromatic shrimp. My buddy ALWAYS gets the chefs special crispy beef. It can get crowded and the food's always fresh so at peak hours you need to be patient when dining in. I order take out a lot (especially during Covid) and never had an issue. Always exactly what I ordered and pretty quick. I highly recommend it!“
“The atmosphere was welcoming. The decor was beautiful! The calamari was to die for!!! I had the yellowtail with steak, Brussels sprouts, and mash w/ crab top... my bf had salmon with steak, corn, and mash w/crab top... they both were amazing! Our server Robert was the sweetest and the manager was great. All the staff were nice!“
“A couple of years back, my partner and I stumbled upon Raya to celebrate our anniversary, and since then, it has become a cherished spot for us. Whether it's a leisurely Sunday by the ocean or catching the breathtaking sunset, Raya never fails to impress with its ambiance. However, while the service during our anniversary visit was exceptional, subsequent visits didn't quite meet the same standard, and we missed the waiter who made our first experience memorable. Nonetheless, the food remains consistently fantastic, and the drinks are expertly crafted, striking a perfect balance every time. Overall, Raya's picturesque setting and delectable offerings make it a must-visit despite occasional service hiccups.“
“Our visit started off a little rough in the lounge for a drink before dinner. Our server was inexperienced and wasn't very friendly and made mistakes with drink orders. After a drink, we moved to the dining room for dinner, and our server was awesome. Our meals were delicious and the view of the marina was nice. The restaurant is clean but a little dated and due for renovation.“
“Love this family-owned business. Favorite place to stop at on the way home after a day with the family. The service is great, and the food is even better. Craving it now. The ambiance is giving small town in Mexico with seating both indoors and outdoors, making it pet-friendly on the patio.“
“Came in for a quick poke bowl on my way to tour some homes in Mission Viejo. Staff was friendly and helpful. The poke quality was good and the available toppings were good.Avocado was extra but a must. Free miso soup.I will definitely come back when I’m in the area.“
“The food is spectacular, and the service is top notch. The owners are frequently there and very attentive. The restaurant is well run and it shows. The atmosphere is what really makes the experience in my opinion, perfect for a date night. The Happy Hour is also great and can be a bit more of a casual experience. If you have not been it is absolutely worth giving a try, you wont be disappointed!“
“My wife and I come back to visit a few times a year and this is a must stop. Our favorite guy is always working hard behind the counter. We LOVE the spicy mango margaritas and the ceviche. The fact that they have a dressing bar with cilantro vinaigrette, pico de gallo, jalapeños, salsas, etc. CANT GO WRONG!!“
“The BEST FISH place ever and super healthy menu! Made perfectly and freshly warm and served ! amazing customer service always! My boyfriend and I always go there , they also have happy hours menu which is has great deals! 10/10 definitely recommend !!“
“Great happy hour values! $5.00 bubbles! The green chill fries @ $8.00 were amazing. The pork was very flavorful and delicious. Only con was it was very noisy. We were sat on the patio next to the street. Lots of revving engines. Our server Kelsey was great! We'll be back!“
“After visiting dana point caves, I was craving for a poke, so we did a spontaneous poke run at this mom & pop shop in san juan capistrano which ended up being rly nice :) restaurant was located in a very quiet area so we were the only patrons (aka introvert heaven). We ordered the large which comes with 5 proteins, with an extra scoop of spicy tuna bc didn't realize the first scoop would be mixed in the poke haha. I love how avocados are included in all the toppings and not counted as "extra" lol I'm used to being very extra so it was nice not having to be. Everything tasted fresh and service was warm & friendly. So glad we made the visit on our way back home!“
“We love Ironwood and frequent it regularly. One of the draws is Coty. An energetic, sweet, fun and always smiling manager. We will give the new guy a chance .... But I just can't see him being a positive addition. We tried to engage him last night ..but he just lacks the personality for a restaurant with so many young and energetic employees. Time will tell.“
