“I honestly cannot understand any negative reviews for this restaurant. Not only is it beautiful, but the food is wonderful! Their round pizzas have the most special and unique crisp crust. It’s just phenomenal! The toppings are thoughtful and high quality. The umami mushroom and la foresta were some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had anywhere. The salads are delicious as well.I’m so happy to have somewhere special nearby that takes pride in their food and doesn’t taste like every other place around.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Orange County. The food and service are always 10/10. Today on Mother's Day I had a 1pm reservation for my mom and I. We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately. I understand the crowds for Mother's Day, but we were definitely being rushed. We sat around 12:55, immediately ordered drinks and were prompted to order immediately. We hadn't looked at the menu so the server left and came back about 3 minutes later. We ordered our food just after 1pm and it came out just after 1:10. So incredibly fast that. Too fast. We were trying to enjoy our day. When we slowed down eating (but didn't have empty plates) we were asked probably 3 times if we were done. We ended up staying to have more beers and order dessert. In the end it was fine but we felt as though they maybe overbooked reservations and were trying to turn tables. I have never felt like this at Coastal kitchen in the past.“

“Decided to try RJ's for breakfast when visiting friends in Dana Point. We had to wait about 20 minutes because it was packed with people. The service was very good and all employees helped each other since it was so busy. The breakfast menu was huge and everything was made from scratch. Definitely worth the wait! “Gorgeous cafe located on a beautifully renovated little corner of Dana Point. So many varieties of avocado toasts and mix of European and American style menu for all tastes. We had Avocado toast with arugula and Dutch Boy, they were both fabulous. All the staff that were serving us were super friendly and they looked genuinely happy to be there. “I went there the other day for the first time and had some sushi. It was probably one of the best sushi places in Laguna Niguel. It was very delicious. I ordered the dragon sushi, baked scallop and baked salmon. The service was fast. I highly recommend this location. I will definitely go back.“

“One of the best dinners I have ever had. The service, environment, and food are next to none. It was so relaxing time seemed to move by more quickly than normal. We had the pleasure of trying so many of their dishes with the party we were there with that it was impossible to pick a single favorite. Being able to walk on the beach prior to dinner and then enjoy drinks and amazing food while watching the sun set was a treat. I highly recommend coming here. Great for family, business, or a date.“

“I love stacks. The first time I went to any of their locations was 11 years ago. I love that they've had enough success to expand more and more over the years and still maintain the same level of food throughout each location. I do wish they would go back to rotating their specials more frequently but I think that's probably harder to do with all of the locations they now have. My typical go to nowadays is the island chilaquiles.“

Everything was good, but the oysters were tiny, as were the mussels. I should have taken a photo of the oysters....Also, more bread is needed. “We were really craving some local sushi and decided to pop in on a Friday night no reservation around 6 PM.. I feel like we got there just before the rush. They have plenty of seats at the sushi bar, indoor dining as well as covered space outdoor dining . We decided to sit at the bar like we always do . Sushi chefs were on point. And I mean on point.. We decided to bring our own crisp rosé from Paso Robles . This went well with all of our sushi choices. Of course our favorite was the bluefin tuna. The barbecued eel is one of my favorites and we decided to have their very fancy crispy rice with several other fresh fish. We will definitely be back. This is a very fresh sushi restaurant.“

“This was my first time at this restaurant and we went with friends to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff at Luciana's is great from the front desk to the servers. We had a great time talking to the lady play the accordion. We sat at a round table for six which is my favorite configuration for larger parties. The food is great and the wine list is amazing! “I came at about 4pm on Thanksgiving Day to pick up 2 full turkey dinners from Denny's in Dana Point. I honestly wasn't expecting much because it's Dennys right? Given the choice, I think most of us would prefer a Thanksgiving feast prepared at home and with love over just about anywhere else. But that was not the case this year. No turkey in the oven roasting all day, filling our home and senses with savory thoughts of quenching our appetite with home-cooked turkey, mashed potatoes and everything else so wonderful that would be set out on our table.And pumpkin pie for later of course!So I entered the door to Dennys, handed my on-line printed confirmation page to Damon who turned out to be the restaurant manager. He was warm, cheerful,and welcoming. And I don't know about you but it seems to me that customer service isn't as much of a priority as it used to be in our country. Jose completed my transaction with the same genuine warmth I felt when I walked into thru the door. I waited all of about 3 minutes and went home to have dinner with my family. I'm not going to lie, this was not Mom or Grandmas special home cooking but it was pretty darn good. And the best part about it is I didn't have to go home and prepare all of the frozen food that came out of the bags nor I did I have to wait 3 or 4 hours for the food to thaw and then attempt to have the turkey and all the sides ready and hot at the same time. There was minimal reheating and more than enough food to go around, though I did order extra mashed potatoes just to make sure!I was more than pleasantly surprised and just the fact that I was treated with such kindness made everything taste even better. It was pouring rain all day and the staff at Denny's on Del Obispo in DP worked their tails off all day I'm sure. “Came here with some friends after a day of hanging out around Dana Point Harbor. The place offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with heaters outside. The food was delightful. We loved the free chips with bean dip. I got their popular short rib enchilada and was very pleased with my decision. The sauce on the enchilada was especially delicious, and the meat was very tender. My friends got the carnitas wet burrito, short rib crispy taco, and carne asada tacos-- all of them reported their dish being very good. Would 100% be coming back here again.“

We loved the egg rolls and the house beef. But the soup is killer. I'm obsessed with the sizzling rice soup. It is the best. Packed with veggies, the broth is so good and has this crunchy rice on top. So good especially if you are under the weather. My fiancé loves the sweet and sour soup as well. The Little Kitchen Asian Cafe has definitely become a staple in our house and highly recommend stopping in or grabbing it to go.“

Not only were they accommodating and very patient the whole staff there were great!! They were all happy and polite. The food came out at perfect timing. “10/9/23 Just driving around PCH, cruising and we stumbled upon this poke shop. We were casually looking for a place to grab some grub, poke sounds better than my initial idea (burgers).Went in & was instantly greeted by staff. It's the usual process, select size, your vase, your sides, veggies/add-ons, protein, sauces and toppings. Opted for a large, feeling hungry (I figured if I don't finish it, Hubby will). Half brown rice, half salad, 3 sides: mac, seaweed & crab salad. Protein (5), salmon, tuna, yellowtail, spicy tuna, scallop. Sauces: spicy mayo, sesame oil & shoyu. Toppings: furikake & sesame seeds. It was pretty hefty in weight but it didn't seem to be that much in portion size. I think it could've used more salad-probably because the greens were drenched with the sauce. Overall, the taste was pretty good. Service was fairly attentive. The place is tucked in a small strip mall. Somehow it did not give me the wow factor that would make me go out of my way to return but it fit the bill at this time. Price-wise, at par with some of the poke places I've visited. There's ample parking in the lot. Good poke bowl“

“My husband and I ate at AVEO twice while we were staying at the Waldorf Astoria. We sat on the terrace both times and really enjoyed taking in the beautiful resort grounds. The food at AVEO is unique and delicious and the waitstaff was very nice. We loved the Pan al Horno which was kind of a bread charcutier board. It comes with fairly minimal items, but the bread is fantastic! We ordered it both times we went. We also ordered the Mexican Mac and Cheese which was also really good. Their mixed drinks fabulous and they also have a decent beer selection if that is more your thing. If you are staying at the Waldorf Astoria, definitely check out AVEO!Kid-friendliness: There were several families eating here. It gets a little loud but it is definitely a child friendly restaurant.“

Probably the only complaint is they had changed the menu quite a bit so a lot of the staple dishes that I believe were quite popular back then they no longer have. The prices a bit steep, but I believe this has to do with the location and the ambience. Overall wind is still a definite, good choice.“

“Great local business with the BEST bagels. I've been coming here since I was a kid and they were across the street. They have by far the biggest, softest bagels in town, which make the best platform for cream cheese, lox or a breakfast sandwich. Borderline addiction/treat. Cream cheese is always thick and tasty. They must use the best quality ingredients to get these results. I didn't realize until recently even their plain bagels are out of this world. Totally unique and a must try.“

It is a great value as well for $158 before tax and tip and includes a bottle of white wine. It includes fried won tons that my wife loved, sweet and sour soup with shrimp inside, xia long bao with a tasty sauce, duck wrapped by server in front of us, huge grilled scallops grilled in front of us by server, fillet mignon cubes grilled in front of us by server, and ice cream for dessert. Service was superb and the ambiance was very unique with their enhanced lighting and creative table gizmos. This experience was plenty good for special occasions but the price can easily be for a simple date night. I highly recommend this place. Great food, service, and value. Also great location on PCH that is a short walk to the beach.“
