“Absolute 5-star experience! The 'old money' aesthetic creates such a moody and elegant atmosphere. Service was warm and spot-on, making us feel right at home. We ordered chicken piccata, beet salad and avocado hummus. All the recommended dishes were delicious and exceeded our expectations. A perfect gem in Corona del Mar!“

“I was very impressed with the food here. The quality is top notch and the creativity of flavor combinations were wonderful. My husband and I split the braised peach salad and the Vietnamese chicken sandwich. I highly recommend both. The staff was friendly and you could tell they really cared about the quality of food they prepared. Even though it was served in a to go container the presentation was still beautiful.“

“We've enjoyed many meals over the last year and always happily return for more. The venue is gorgeous of course and it's difficult to leave roaming the beautiful nursery & craft store area to get to your reservation so give yourself plenty of time during your visit for shopping. The capable service staff is eager to please and every dish is thoughtfully prepared/presented. A couple of our favorite dishes are: the Asian beef short ribs & the Pomegranate & balsamic glazed salmon salad which are reasonably priced and delicious. A bonus for us as Guide Dog puppy raisers is they're dog friendly.“

And these are very large slices . I was so Surprised by the flavor and richness in the sauce and well cooked NY style thin crust. “It was well, well worth the price of admission and more. My friend and I had a great experience and I personally vouch for the vermicelli noodles made with the house special. I took a risk trying a new dish and was handsomely rewarded. A really nice place and I was impressed with the whole experience. Everything was sharp and fresh. The noodles were cold and crisp and the sauce was really nice. Just a very good experience.“

“I had the $60 omakase-style lunch, and it was excellent. The quality of the fish really stood out—everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Considering the quality and variety offered, it was a very good value.
The only downside was the pace of service. It took a while for some courses to arrive, and the overall meal lasted longer than expected for lunch. While the food was worth the wait, the experience felt a bit drawn out.

“The summer house is a general go to for American food. The prices are on the high side for the food you get. We generally go here for a quick meal. The server we got tonight is little hard on hospitality and same experience we had before from him. I think he has been there a while and regulars get better service and not so short with service at there tables from.what we noticed.“
