“Our favorite find!! Every meal was divine and the care and quality is tasted in every bite! Service is 100/10! We adore coming here and can’t wait to be back. Highly recommend the noodle salad, fried chicken, carrot cake, and steak sandwich. And brownie!! I’m sure we’ll slowly make it through the rest of the menu as everything we’ve tried is delicious. “Absolute 5-star experience! The 'old money' aesthetic creates such a moody and elegant atmosphere. Service was warm and spot-on, making us feel right at home. We ordered chicken piccata, beet salad and avocado hummus. All the recommended dishes were delicious and exceeded our expectations. A perfect gem in Corona del Mar!“

“We've enjoyed many meals over the last year and always happily return for more. The venue is gorgeous of course and it's difficult to leave roaming the beautiful nursery & craft store area to get to your reservation so give yourself plenty of time during your visit for shopping. The capable service staff is eager to please and every dish is thoughtfully prepared/presented. A couple of our favorite dishes are: the Asian beef short ribs & the Pomegranate & balsamic glazed salmon salad which are reasonably priced and delicious. A bonus for us as Guide Dog puppy raisers is they're dog friendly.“

“They have the absolutely best enchilada sauce around. They used this aged Wisconsin cheese that has such a unique flavor and it melts perfectly. Don't forget the house margarita 😋 I have been eating at El Cholo for over 35 years and have never been disappointed“

“The food here was delicious!! We got the kaprow (basil chicken) and the drunken noodle - and we couldn’t stop eating it was so yummy!! The cozy atmosphere was decorated nicely and felt modern, and the staff very friendly. I highly recommend!!“

“Pizza is absolutely amazing , went 2 days in a row after a friend recommended. Friends and I got a 1/2 cheese,1/2 pepperoni large and it may be the best pizza I’ve ever had I had 4 slices. And these are very large slices . I was so Surprised by the flavor and richness in the sauce and well cooked NY style thin crust. It was an A+++ for myself and everyone that shared All around amazing pizza . Thank you, a must try ……“

“Only reason for 4 stars is that they do not have an option to have your fresh meal made with gluten free soy sauce. Most Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Japanese restaurants do. Even Le Colonial. Many options have rice or rice noodle which is naturally gluten free. Can't keep a $6 bottle of Gluten free soy sauce in the kitchen? My husband had very little options. Seems a small concession when food is so good. We wouldn't return for this reason.“

“The summer house is a general go to for American food. The prices are on the high side for the food you get. We generally go here for a quick meal. The server we got tonight is little hard on hospitality and same experience we had before from him. I think he has been there a while and regulars get better service and not so short with service at there tables from.what we noticed.“

“Very nice place, good service. I have been here multiple times for lunch. My food was great, French toast and it comes with a little bowl of berries. My only complaint this time was that they must have changed the brand of coffee cause it was awful, almost tasted sour.“
