“I couldn’t wait to share our experience at Benchmark restaurant in Santa Ana California. Everything about this place is perfection! It was a hot day, but the beautiful outdoor dining area was cool and breezy underneath the beautiful trees. Our waitress was knowledgeable, wonderfully friendly, and attended to all our needs. Each of us ordered a different item on the menu and I had to taste everything. I had the Spanish omelette, which was delicious, the burger seems like a very popular item understandably because that along with the delicious fries was exceptional. Enchiladas with mole were a wonderful treat, and the French toast was probably the hit of the table. This wonderful brunch dish was not exceptionally sweet, which made it so perfect. Some places just overdo it with the sweetness. We will definitely be going back many times to tryout dinners and more of the selections on all of the menus. I will also be spreading the word because this is probably my favorite place in Orange County now. Thank you Benchmark for a fantastic experience!“

“We didn't take advantage of the BOGO deal, but should have! The food was fresh and fast, yummy! My friend said the pho broth definitely tasted different from other pho places he has had, had more depth of flavor and umami. He said made his top three! Salted coffee was strong and delicious, not for the faint of heart. Will definitely try the BOGO deal next time I'm in town!“

The owner and the entire team are incredibly friendly, always making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I especially appreciate how the owner often offers free alcohol to customers, adding that extra touch of hospitality. I first visited when they first opened a few years ago, and at that time, it wasn’t too busy. But with the incredible food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere, it’s no surprise that Kiazen Shabu has become so popular. Now, it's always packed, so be prepared to wait, especially on weekends and during dinner hours – but trust me, it's worth it! I highly recommend trying most of their dishes; you won’t be disappointed. Kiazen Shabu is a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious food and top-notch service!“

“We stopped at the Bite Club since we were in the area. Tom's of parking in a business strip plaza. You'd never guess there was a sandwich/burrito shop here!
The shop itself is clean and not so crowded at 10:30 AM. I heard it's super busy before 10:30, so plan your visit wisely.
We went for sandwiches which did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked eggs, tons of meat and pillowy soft bread. We barely could finish the sandwiches since they were fairly good size and really rich tasting. Definitely recommend. The tots were average. Don't get them seasoned, they were too salty. Plain is the way to go.
We didn't try the burritos but I have a feeling they might even be better, but we wanted to try the sandwiches first.
The staff aren't the friendliest. My friend tried getting one of the girl's attention to see if she could cut the sandwich in half. She just ignored him for a bit and then finally asked him what he wanted. Super unpleasant person. Thank God you can input your order via a screen because that girl would have been a pain to deal with.
Overall, a solid place for food and I will be visiting again. Hopefully the one rude girl won't be employed when we revisit.“

“What an awesome little restaurant that popped up here. Was looking to try something new and found this amazing little bao spot. The most amazing thing is how they fry these bao. The bottom is hard and crunchy and the top is soft, making a soup filled bao in either seafood, curry or the standard pork. They sell them in quantities of 6 and 2 to 3 is enough to fill me! Highly recommend a quick lunch or dinner here, you won’t be disappointed in the authentic flavors.“

Beer selection rotates weekly. Tuesday and Wednesday epic street tacos, Thursday is the best bbq and corn bread I've had in years!“

It’s kind of a RARE GEM I would say, because it’s hidden off of a smaller residential Street, called standard, and Edinger, which is a main street but it’s tucked in the corner behind the gas station. For many visits, all I ordered were the Birria & queso Birria tacos with their delicious consome.. THEN, I started trying all their other things like the huaraches and more and honestly, their menu is so vast and so many options and everything is delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything to be honest!

And they make homemade Agua Fresca’s and I feel like it’s only a little bit of sugar and they’re so good. You guys can’t get your meal without one!

This is a cool little hole in the wall, but nice hole in the wall just meaning it’s a small restaurant, but they have tables and boots so you can come sit down.. it’s a great date night spot also!

Colima is a family owned restaurant that serves good home cooked meals and delicious handmade tortillas at a reasonable price. The service is great and the restaurant is very clean. It is a humble establishment located in a small shopping track in a low income neighborhood. If you want atmosphere and a great view, then you need to go to El Torito or Las Brisas in Laguna Beach. But you'll pay more for the atmosphere and food won't be as good as Colima.“
