We asked for another fork because we were only given one and she said she would bring us 1 and coffee. She took forever, she kept getting distracted. “We have visited this Restaurant since 2008. It is our children's favorite since they were little when the horse carousel existed. I remember that we had to call the employees to turn the carousel around. This place brings back good memories and is very familiar. We have just visited it. The flavors of the food are the same, the pancakes are the favorites and we are very happy to see the staff that works here, unfortunately there are certain details in the restaurant that need attention such as child seats occupying seat belts, also repairs such as The roof is affected in rainy weather, the bathrooms may need remodeling, but at the same time that is what makes it historic. We love this place and even more so the people who serve us with that skill. Thank you for your services and we will return again and again. time❤️

Went to pick up dinner, ordered through the app, groceries waiting in the car. Saw them begin to pack our order. Saw the guy behind the counter put my lettuce wrapped steak sandwich on the counter. Asked the lady in the red shirt if the onion rings were hot. She said they were. She put them in the bag and told me they were warm and encouraged me to check. Yes, they were warm, not hot like she initially assured me. Couldn't wait for hot one as there were cold items in my car. Got home, handed my husband his sandwich. Put groceries away, came back to discover some other chicken sandwich in the bag, my steak sandwich missing. Drove back with the receipt from the bag and the sandwich. The lady in red suggested it was my fault leaving with the wrong order. Not sure how that works. I didn't pack the bag. I had seen the guy put my sandwich on the counter. Just wanted my sandwich. She went behind the counter and said they would remake mine. Great. Waited. They remade the entire order which I didn't ask them to do. My husband had already eaten his dinner without me. They took the onion rings back and told me to just keep the other sandwich. I checked my steak sandwich and something seemed off but didn't realize until the first red light that it was missing the grilled onions (it was just steak and tomato in lettuce). Drove back. They gave me the side of grilled onion (the only part of our overall meal that was hot). Got home and showed my husband there was now an extra chicken sandwich... oh, wait, that he'll never eat because they mistakenly put cheese on it. Think it would have been better for them to just replace the one sandwich they got wrong and do it right than try to give us excess food that was prepared incorrectly. Used to go to this Habit quite often. Not sure they've gotten our order 100% correct in a long while. The customer care/service has also fallen off.“

“Ordered a teriyaki platter with brown rice. For the 14 bucks, it was kinda small. I'm sure they could fit more on that to go platter. I think they are too busy trying to make it look pretty. But that's just fat me. I gotta admit, it was really good. My kids both ordered chicken burgers with fried. They loved their burgers. My boy ordered the medium spicy, and it kicked his butt.The cash register doesn't have a bright screen you could easily see. So you don't know how much your spending. “I have been going here for years, usually once a week. Customer service is good, nothing spectacular though, everyone's pretty friendly and attentive. It's one of the few places left in Santa Ana where you can go and have a burger and fries almost street side, I will warn you that there's only 2 or 3 tables, outside dining only, very small space. We always like to sit and watch cars and people go by.My family and I love their big steak cut fries, they're always hot, fresh and made to order. Plus, they aren't too much $$. They serve them individually, each in their own paper bag, packed with extra salt packets, napkins and plenty of ketchup packets. Worth the price, in my opinion. The burgers are good too but I suggest you don't go too late in the day, bcuz they're not so fresh once the sun goes down. Unfortunately this has been my experience, recently. I did call and complain about getting old cold, rubbery patties that were so chewy that my little boys couldn't eat them, and they promised to replace them (they have a little book to write down customer complaints, and stuff they promised to replace along with customers name and number, date of Purchase, ect.) but when my husband showed up a week later to get the burgers replaced, the guy who was working there, (also the same guy who we spoke to on the phone and promised to replace those nasty burgers), says that we took too long to get them and he removed the offer from the book!! (Short little Mexican dude) Sorry I don't remember his name anymore. Really guys??? Really Bad business!! This recently happened to us twice, since then we ask, in advance that our patties are made fresh, to avoid this from happening again. If you have an issue with cold hard food and you don't have money to just throw away, I suggest you check your food before you leave, ask for freshly made patties or just don't go too late in the day guys or you're likely to receive warming drawer meat, that's been there for a long time!! Oh also, I sometimes order grilled cheese for my kids but the way they make them is terrible! They were like warm cheese sandwiches, no buttery golden bread or melted cheese. They were nasty, I had to ask for them to be custom made, extra toasted and please butter the bread. After they made it my way, it was perfect! Hope it helps someone out there! And for the frosty's u have to ask vanilla& chocolate mixed 2gether cuz they just have it in 1 it's either vanilla or chocolate but if u want both of them mixed you just go ahead & ask for it. “Love love love. Owners are super nice, prices are reasonable. I love everything I’ve ordered. I eat almost every daily special, except for Friday’s fish taco special because I don’t like fish. Otherwise, I’ve had so many of their menu items and even some of there specialty foods they randomly make in small batches that they sell as ready-to-go (like their homemade potato salad). Love it!!!

Vegetarian options: They have options like their garden burger, potato salad, regular fries and onion rings. There may be more options but those are the ones I know.

Parking: Parking lot is paid, but if you get free monthly parking because you work in the buildings next door then it’s great, because there is plenty of parking, it’s just a bit confusing.
Entry and exit are one-way. When you enter you go only through the C & D sections, & you have to keep turning left to keep going up the levels. If you ever turn right on any level toward the exit sign you’ll be forced to keep going through the A & B sections downward until you exit and have to start over.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor right by the parking lot. It looks like there should be no issue for wheelchair users to access. No ramp necessary for entry as there are no steps.“
