“I've been wanting to go here for some time but never felt like I deserved to. Or even if I did, I never had someone who would possibly enjoy it with. So I was so excited to have been able to finally go today to celebrate @wakandinh 's birthday and do a date night. This was honestly some of the most prettiest and tastiest food I have had. These were some of my favorites tonight. They honestly were all so well thought out and meticulously prepared. I am so grateful to have experienced this Omakase service. The staff and Chef Gino were very attentive, friendly, and endearing. The ambiance was cozy and intimate. 10/10 will have to come back another time not just for the beautiful meal but Chef Gino himself. Thank you Chef for this wonderful meal! ??‍♀️”

“Very friendly and prompt service. Lots of selections of milk tea, fruit drink, smoothies, and sugar cane juices.

The teas are made with 3 blends: lack, golden black and mountain green tea, and seemed pretty good quality. The vibe is pretty nice and pleasant.

I ordered the Brown Sugar with custard, it came out beautifully, and it’s pretty sweet even at 1/2 sweet. I’d probably order 1/4 sweet since I prefer less sugar.”

“I recently tried the durian cake from BAKERY 101 and it exceeded my expectations! Not only was it incredibly delicious, but the price was also very affordable. The flavor was rich and authentic, and the texture was perfect. It's evident that they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into their baking. “Hidden gem hole in the wall... that's also a chain? Literally all their sandwiches are good. They have variable stock with drinks and chips. I liked that they stocked Celsius but now they don't. These sandwiches hold up amazingly well. They are clearly made with the freshest ingredients and taste like they are made by people who love what they do. You can really taste a difference here. It's a must try.”

“Really solid, health Mediterranean food. We immensely enjoyed their Mediterranean salad, humus, cucumber yogurt salad, and red cabbage salad. The red cabbage salad is slightly sweet and creamy. The Mediterranean salad is basically a veggie-dense salad with a dressing similar to Italian. The chicken shawarma wasn’t anything impressive, pretty simple seasoning. The sides were honestly the highlight. Their rice was pretty tasty, it had a subtle nutty flavor to it that made it much more enjoyable than plain white rice. Super underrated part was their pickles and PICKLED RADISH. It’s just a garnish but when we told the guy at the counter how much we liked them he brightened us a side of extra. Very friendly staff.”

“I got a Taro tea from Koco Sushi and it is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for other Taro enthusiasts. There are other teas available too (featured in the picture provided). The only issue I had was the boba. It’s too hard to chew but other than that, it’s all good ?.”

“It is currently one of my favorite places to be. The staff is wonderful. They are great at recommending drinks. The drinks on the menu are super creative and the staff gets a hand in creating new ideas. There is a live jazz band on Wednesdays from 8-11 that is KILLING it! There's a pool table, and outdoor partio/smoking area and they have mexican food most nights. I freaking love this place ?

“It’s a good food joint. They have good value combo options for the amount. We ordered 2 combos in which we had vegetarian dishes like chana masala, paneer saag, dal makhni and navratan korma. Each combo was around $10 and had 1 curry, rice and a bread. If you would add one more curry, it would cost a $1 extra. The portion size was really good for 1 person. Dal makhni tasted really good and the rest all dishes were also okay. Naan was freshly prepared at that time. We also ordered mango lassi and samosas. Samosas also tasted good.
They do have outdoor seating as well.”

“A nice mom n pop shop in the middle of Santa Ana. Admittedly, I wasn’t expecting much. I ordered a double smash, fries and a spam musubi. The fries… I didn’t hate them. But I didn’t love them either. I prefer my fries a little stiffer. The spam musubi was good. It’s kinda hard to screw up spam musubi tho. The smash burger… as you can see, it’s not much to look at but the flavor, it was amazing. It was soft and juicy. What a smash burger is supposed to be. I will be coming back to try their other offerings.”

“They were very responsive to emails. I first filled out web inquiry and got a reply on the same day. They were booked for tasting appointment very fast so make sure you contact them early as they only have appointments available during the week Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays between 1pm and 6pm. Saturdays from 9am-4pm. The tasting appointment was an hour long and it's FREE!!! Some other places I looked at will charge you for tasting and even though the tasting charge might be deducted from final order, it made me feel much better when there was no cost to start with as wedding was already expensive. The place was a little bit hard to find since it was office-like looking from outside and I thought it was bakery-like. They have parking lot. My husband and I tried so many different favors of cake and they were so delicious. We had a hard time deciding which ones to get because we had more than three favorite. During the appointment, they also showed you what style of cake they offered and its pricing. We went with the basic so there was no add-on cost, but they can custom-make your order if you show them pictures of what you want with additional cost (and trust me the price is fair). We ended up ordering a 3-tier ice in white buttercream cake with 12" white with mango, 9" almond with cappuccino & chocolate mousse, and 6" mocha chip with rosy mauve ribbon around tiers for 100 guests for my wedding. They emailed us a week before the wedding to confirm there was no changes and the order was correct. The cake was delivered on time and was decorated with fresh flowers my florist provided on site by the delivery staff. (If you have cake topper, you can either drop it off to the shop or have it installed on site by delivery staff. Either way, you need to let them know in advance so they can make sure your cake is structurally stable for the cake topper weight.) My wedding cake looked pretty and it tasted good. I received lots of compliment from the guests. On the side note, they would charge you more if you use American Express credit card. And you only need to pay deposit on the site but they don't have online system for you to pay the remaining online. Since we didn't have cake topper to drop off and did not want to make another trip just to pay the balance, we paid it in full the same day of tasting. This would be two suggestions for improvement, but they still deserve a 5-star for their service, the quality (taste/look), and the friendly price. Ohh and did I mention that you do receive a complimentary one year anniversary cake? That's for sure a big PLUS since my husband and I were too busy to have our own wedding cake at our wedding. We are very looking forward to our one year anniversary! All you need to do is to contact them 3 weeks prior to your one year anniversary to place the order. Give them the date of your wedding and the name the order is under and they will pull up your file and place the order. Yup it's 3 weeks, not 2 weeks. They are definitely getting busier and that's how good they are! If you are still looking for wedding cake or cake for any event, this is where I would recommend.”

“A Delightful Afghan feast! We recently visited a local gem and tried the Qabili Palau and Kabab combo. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful, each bite offering a rich taste of Afghan cuisine. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, with plenty of seating to accommodate diners comfortably. “I have been going here for years, usually once a week. Customer service is good, nothing spectacular though, everyone's pretty friendly and attentive. It's one of the few places left in Santa Ana where you can go and have a burger and fries almost street side, I will warn you that there's only 2 or 3 tables, outside dining only, very small space. We always like to sit and watch cars and people go by.My family and I love their big steak cut fries, they're always hot, fresh and made to order. Plus, they aren't too much $$. They serve them individually, each in their own paper bag, packed with extra salt packets, napkins and plenty of ketchup packets. Worth the price, in my opinion. The burgers are good too but I suggest you don't go too late in the day, bcuz they're not so fresh once the sun goes down. Unfortunately this has been my experience, recently. I did call and complain about getting old cold, rubbery patties that were so chewy that my little boys couldn't eat them, and they promised to replace them (they have a little book to write down customer complaints, and stuff they promised to replace along with customers name and number, date of Purchase, ect.) but when my husband showed up a week later to get the burgers replaced, the guy who was working there, (also the same guy who we spoke to on the phone and promised to replace those nasty burgers), says that we took too long to get them and he removed the offer from the book!! (Short little Mexican dude) Sorry I don't remember his name anymore. Really guys??? Really Bad business!! This recently happened to us twice, since then we ask, in advance that our patties are made fresh, to avoid this from happening again. If you have an issue with cold hard food and you don't have money to just throw away, I suggest you check your food before you leave, ask for freshly made patties or just don't go too late in the day guys or you're likely to receive warming drawer meat, that's been there for a long time!! Oh also, I sometimes order grilled cheese for my kids but the way they make them is terrible! They were like warm cheese sandwiches, no buttery golden bread or melted cheese. They were nasty, I had to ask for them to be custom made, extra toasted and please butter the bread. After they made it my way, it was perfect! Hope it helps someone out there! This has only been my experience recently, for the most part, they do pretty good. Thanks for taking the time to read my post guys!!!

I’ve been going to Cafe Cito for a while now and all I gotta say really is that it’s some of the best coffee in Orange County. Not only that, but the atmosphere is great. I remember walking in and they were playing the band her’s and then the following day they had the Persona 5 soundtrack. You can’t beat the service there either. I once tripped and fell and one of the barista’s saw that and she offered me a drink on the house. Like, who does that?? Cafe Cito.”

“What a pleasant surprise to find this little place tucked in the Santa Ana/Tustin area on Glassell and Fairhaven in the Big Lots shopping strip. Bangkok Taste is small eatery, would probably seat about 30 people but the flavors are pretty big. We didn't have a large supper because we were on our way to a party where there would be more food. But we couldn't eat at the party because we were so full from a plate each pad see ew pork and chicken, angel wings, massaman curry, rice and mango sticky rice to finish it off. What a feast! Plenty leftover for today's lunch. The only thing we didn't finish was the mango sticky rice. The coconut milk was a bit watery, almost no flavor which was a contrast to the absolutely heavenly coconut massaman curry. We don't live in the area but we visit a few times a month so we'll be back and take our time. Friendly and prompt service, great first experience, clean tables and chairs. Loved it!

Parking: It's a strip mall and they're three doors down from Big Lots so there's plenty of parking if you can't find anything directly in front of the eatery.”

The portion was just right for someone with an appetite. The teriyaki chicken tasted very authentic and like a home cooked meal. I hope to come back again.”

Can’t forget their dipping sauce which are Lechera, chocolate, and cajeta. So yummy! Oh and their platano frito with Lechera drizzled on top, omg they are awesome! The bunelos are a great size and super yummy. They also have on the weekends sometimes tres leches or arroz con leche in a little cup that are excellent. So many options here.
