“I’ve been to a lot of boba shops, and this is one of the few that keeps me coming back. The drinks are consistently good, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff always go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.

What really stands out is how willing they are to customize drinks. Every time I’ve had a special request or wanted to tweak an order, they’ve been happy to help. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find and makes a big difference.

Prices are great! The Thai Tea Blossom was great and tapioca is always on par. The Vietnamese coffee with the Thai tea is my favorite. The ingredients taste fresh, the boba has great texture, and the drinks are made with care.

More than anything, this place feels like a business that genuinely values its customers. Great drinks, fair prices, and friendly people. It’s become my go-to boba spot, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a local place to support.”

Also came with two sides (so amazing that you get to choose) The salad + potato salad was so refreshing. 🥗 The chicken wrap was crispy on the edges, juicy, and packed with spices. 🌯 It pairs well with the garlic sauce. Taberu Sushi was absolutely incredible. This is a family-run restaurant where you can immediately tell how much pride and care goes into the food.

We ordered the 16-piece Sashimi Box, which included bluefin tuna, cherry salmon, kanpachi, kuro dai, shima aji, toro, snapper, clam, mackerel and amberfish. Everything was unbelievably fresh and beautifully presented. The quality of the fish really stood out.

We learned that the chef is extremely particular about his fish. If something comes in from a vendor and isn't up to his standards, he sends it back. He also doesn't cut the fish until you actually order it. After eating here, you understand why. The texture, temperature and freshness were on another level.

We also had the scallops topped with uni and caviar 🤤, which were amazing, and the tuna toast was so simple but SO good. Honestly, there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again.

Lynn, the owner, was gracious and wonderful, she made us feel so welcome. Derek was our server and was equally wonderful and attentive. You really feel the warmth of a family-run restaurant here.

“I couldn’t wait to share our experience at Benchmark restaurant in Santa Ana California. Everything about this place is perfection! It was a hot day, but the beautiful outdoor dining area was cool and breezy underneath the beautiful trees. Our waitress was knowledgeable, wonderfully friendly, and attended to all our needs. Each of us ordered a different item on the menu and I had to taste everything. I had the Spanish omelette, which was delicious, the burger seems like a very popular item understandably because that along with the delicious fries was exceptional. Enchiladas with mole were a wonderful treat, and the French toast was probably the hit of the table. This wonderful brunch dish was not exceptionally sweet, which made it so perfect. Some places just overdo it with the sweetness. We will definitely be going back many times to tryout dinners and more of the selections on all of the menus. I will also be spreading the word because this is probably my favorite place in Orange County now. Thank you Benchmark for a fantastic experience!”

“Kebab Kurry Express is one of my new favorite go to restaurants. If you're looking for delicious flavors and meats, this place hits the spot. The workers are also very friendly, and there's some seating outside.

The Chapli Kebab was delicious, flavorful ground beef patties served over some good rice and salad that was also tasty. The chicken platter was just as impressive, with tender, moist chicken that was served on some pita alongside hummus, salad, and fries (these were really good too!).

Pro Tip: Do not skip the Chapli Kebab! It was recommended by one of the workers, and she didn't lead me a stray.”

The food was creative and delicious and my NA drink was excellent too. I’ll mention standout dishes even though the menu is constantly changing—my group really loved the maitake mushroom dish that was smoky and full of umami that it was surprisingly reminiscent of steak?! We guarded the hamachi crudo sauce after the fish was finished to dip their perfectly fluffy and crunchy focaccia into after. Same with the scrambled egg agnolotti, the sauce was incredible and the agnolottis themselves truly surprised us. The ricotta donuts were chef’s kiss as well. I really appreciated the warm welcome and introduction made at the beginning of our meal. I spent a long time looking for creative restaurants doing something different and interesting to celebrate my friend’s birthday in OC and DARKROOM nailed it. I also loved the creative touch with the bill trays :) What a gem!”

In addition, the place was spotless and well-stocked.

I deducted a star because Subway has only one worker there for a lot of the time, which seems not only unsafe, but terrible for the workers. The second time I went back, Wanda was being run ragged, between online orders, walk-ins, and prep. She handled it like a boss and was just as friendly and cheerful as ever, but it's unfair to work people like that.”

“I visited from DC and Wings by Mezzo was easily the highlight of my trip. I tried the Lemon Pepper with Parmesan—a combination I couldn't quite wrap my head around at first, but the flavors absolutely blew me away. The seasoning was balanced perfectly.

The biggest takeaway for me was the quality. Unlike those big-name wing spots that serve skimpy, tiny wings, these were a great size and cooked to absolute perfection.

I intended to take a photo to show these off, but as soon as the smell hit me, I started indulging and didn't look back. There are no pictures because I couldn't stop eating long enough to grab my phone!

This is officially my #1 go-to spot every time I’m in California. If you want a perfectionately made wing, this is it!”

I came in this Wednesday morning.

First of all, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by everyone on staff and I noticed that I wasn’t the only one being greeted that way. Each time someone walked in… they were greeted and welcomed in. Even while they had a line and were busy. That is not the norm nowadays and they deserve a shout out for that.

to add to the first point, this didn’t feel like just a transaction, the person on register (bangs & glasses, I didn’t get her name) asked about my day and was curious to know what I did for work. This is how you build a relationship with your customers and keep them coming back (a lesson to be taught to surrounding shops in the area)

While I was waiting for my drink I noticed that they host monthly markets and had a community wall, that’s always a plus to see. I definitely see myself attending one of their markets or workshops.

Although they had a lot of drinks to choose from, I got a simple iced oat milk latte that was incredible, there’s always room to mess up a simple drink like that and I appreciate the level of detail that comes with perfecting a drink as simple as that.

“We stopped at the Bite Club since we were in the area. Tom's of parking in a business strip plaza. You'd never guess there was a sandwich/burrito shop here!
The shop itself is clean and not so crowded at 10:30 AM. I heard it's super busy before 10:30, so plan your visit wisely.
We went for sandwiches which did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked eggs, tons of meat and pillowy soft bread. We barely could finish the sandwiches since they were fairly good size and really rich tasting. Definitely recommend. The tots were average. Don't get them seasoned, they were too salty. Plain is the way to go.
We didn't try the burritos but I have a feeling they might even be better, but we wanted to try the sandwiches first.
The staff aren't the friendliest. My friend tried getting one of the girl's attention to see if she could cut the sandwich in half. She just ignored him for a bit and then finally asked him what he wanted. Super unpleasant person. Thank God you can input your order via a screen because that girl would have been a pain to deal with.
Overall, a solid place for food and I will be visiting again. Hopefully the one rude girl won't be employed when we revisit.”
