Omakase by Gino 304 N Main St, Santa Ana Sushi • $$$$
304 N Main St, Santa Ana

“What a lovely chef, and an unbelievable meal. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in my entire life. The service was attentive, the food thoughtful and inspired, the atmosphere comfortable and clean. On its own, the menu was incredible. Every single plate was well-described and beautifully prepared. I may never recover. And Gino… was LOVELY. I have met many chefs, and dined in fine-dining/Michelin-quality restaurants around the world. This was a superior experience. Gino was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly in a way that is truly rare. We would have come back for the food alone, but Gino made it a memory and an experience. He also personally (and kindly) chased us down to return my purse — the food was so good that I completely forgot it.Thank you — from a couple of new Canadian transplants who felt infinitely welcomed and well-fed.”

“Excellent breakfast option in the Irvine and Tustin area. French style cafe with a wide variety of foods, coffees and desserts. I recommend arriving early, the approximate wait in the mornings is 30 minutes to 1 hour. The service is very different from what they provide in the USA, if they clean your table between meals and offer you additional items. Highly recommended”

“You should consider your reservation to Trust as a dinner show starring master chef Justin, sous chef Kyle, wine expert Trish and Jared, the man that makes things happen. This 13 course diner show included the absolute best bread in town, duck, steak and ravioli amongst others, finished with three different desserts. Chef Justin told story with each course served, the wine was not just served, Trish gifted with love. So did the deserts, you can tell that Kyle had poured his heart and soul into the sweets.Be on time for your reservation and bring a hungry appetite. It is worth it.”

“Tried this place out for lunch and left very happy! It was pretty dead for a Thursday at noon but I assume for evenings they get busier. My husband got the OG Platter which came with two tacos, a quesadilla, and a mulita and he was happy with the portion size. I got the Birria Ramen and man was it full of meat. They normally put cheese but I didn't want that with my ramen. The broth is so good and not too oily like other places. I really enjoyed that the meat was not too fatty so you are getting good quality. We also got a churro with lechera and strawberry ice cream which was so good I forgot to take a picture. I enjoyed everything so much I can't wait to go back!”

They were sweet and balanced out with some spice. The glasses came frosty and chilled and our server was friendly and attentive. A must-see and I plan on coming again for sure!”

“After living in Santa Ana for so many years, I failed to try this place before I left. Oh what a mistake that was! My mom and I gave it a go today and it was one of the best experiences I have had in a Mexican restaurant out here. We had the Molcajete Los Arcos and it was spectacular! Hands down one of the best I've had. We used to drive to SD to have molcajetes in Old Town, but didn't know we could find some in our hometown. The waitress was awesome, the homemade tortillas were awesome, the amount of food in the molcajete was awesome, the salsa was out of this world, and the overall taste was amazing! Please, please, please give your taste buds a thrill and try this place! Will be back for sure!”

The food was delicious; however, I personally believe that the Agua de Jamaica needs a little more sugar . Overall this place is worth the time and money. Thank you . We will be back :)”

“Went here today, my girlfriend and I were very hungry and didn't know where else to go since we're not from around here. We stopped by and saw that they had pizza and tacos, so looked interesting! Their menu consists of pizza, tacos, torpedos, tortas, aguas frescas, pasta, milkshakes, all sorts of things. We settled for pizza and got the "combination" which is another word for supreme. They have different sizes, so we got Large and it was a lot more than I expected, I thought it was X-Large when they brought it over. The lady told me it would be 20 minutes, and it was ready on time, since they make and bake it from scratch and all.Combination has bell peppers, onions, olives, mushrooms, pepperoni and Italian sausage. The total came out to $21.85.I like how they take the pizza over to your table, I was not expecting that but Giovanni himself brought it over.Good experience! But the atmosphere was very hot, they have a fan on the ceiling but the restaurant felt like a sauna since they are cooking plenty of pizzas. The workers very nice and friendly and are on it. Definitely recommend to people who are having different cravings for different things!”

“I've been dining with Morton's for a while and it's usually for special occasions (graduations, Christmas, birthday's) So this past Easter was no exception. I made reservations, Which was super easy and they had my top time choice available. It helps when you make it early. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated right away. The environment was warm and inviting, not too loud even though they were busy. I never felt rushed and I never felt like I was waiting for service. We started off with cocktails and the bacon wrapped scallops, which are always delicious. Morton's bread is unique and tasty. I dream about their wedge salad that always comes out so cold and crisp. The cajun ribeye is always cooked to perfection. We also tried the truffle creamed corn, that's new to the menu and wow, fantastic. I ended our meal with coffee and it was so delicious. Thank you to the staff and management for checking on us and making sure we had a wonderful Easter. It was so great that I was back a week later! No special occasion needed!!”

We were there to celebrate a few April birthdays. The service was very good. The food was good. We had the prime rib. Yum! The staff was friendly. It is sad to see so many bad reviews. Watching the customers that were there, it looked like they were all having a good time. Yes, the restaurants can do a few improvements. Overall, it is good place to go grab dinner at. Especially at sunset. As mentioned before, handicap parking is at a lower level. We got there 10 mins before they opened. They did not have valet parking. Looking around it is a small parking lot. So, you can see why on their busier nights, they have to do valet parking.”
