Every time I've made the drive because the drinks are AMAZING. For the most part I'm a Thai tea kinda person and the Thai Tea Blossom is ALWAYS on pint and add the Sealt Creme..... its heaven in a cup. The staff has always been good and the art does blow me away, some of these people should be doing comics, manga or cartoons. This place should be on everyone's list if you're into delicious drinks, think I'm kidding?? Again-- I drive from Laguan Niguel to get a drink from here!!!”

“I honestly debated whether to write this review or keep this place to myself — it’s that good. The food is truly unique and absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality in every bite; everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared.
Andrew completely elevated our experience. His energy, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made the night unforgettable. I don’t think I can ever go back to my previous sushi spot after this.
What really stood out was how accommodating they were — I was able to taste an item before they were added to my dish, which has never happened to me before. That level of care is rare.

“I couldn’t wait to share our experience at Benchmark restaurant in Santa Ana California. Everything about this place is perfection! It was a hot day, but the beautiful outdoor dining area was cool and breezy underneath the beautiful trees. Our waitress was knowledgeable, wonderfully friendly, and attended to all our needs. Each of us ordered a different item on the menu and I had to taste everything. I had the Spanish omelette, which was delicious, the burger seems like a very popular item understandably because that along with the delicious fries was exceptional. Enchiladas with mole were a wonderful treat, and the French toast was probably the hit of the table. This wonderful brunch dish was not exceptionally sweet, which made it so perfect. Some places just overdo it with the sweetness. We will definitely be going back many times to tryout dinners and more of the selections on all of the menus. I will also be spreading the word because this is probably my favorite place in Orange County now. Thank you Benchmark for a fantastic experience!”

“My girlfriend and I came here on a Friday night around 9PM for some sushi and let me tell you this place doesn't disappoint. We came around 8:30PM there was a reservation slot for 9PM but we didn't want to wait so we decided to take the chance and go in. We didn't have to wait. We started with some poke nacho, they were good, but not the star of the show. We also ordered some sashimi and the cuts were thick and taste delicious 😋. However, these were still not the star of the show. The true star was their black cod sushi(black dish). I had my doubts at first when my gf ordered it but when it came out and I had one of the 2pcs serving and my tastebud exploded. So we ended up ordering 2 more orders. Ponzu is great place for a nice date night I approved👍. Services was fast and very attentive. I enjoy the fresh wasabi that they serve with their sashimi and when I asked for more they brought out way more than what's originally was served, this place doesn't skim.”

Thervice hoever, lacked just a tiny bit. Server didn't ask us if we wanted alcohol, and our dishes were not served all together. That was an awkward 5 minute gap. Lastly, asking us if we wanted more water was not asked, and the taking away of dishes meant i could not nibble on the balance of our queso. she was friendly enough and did bring out our dessert promptly. I always get the carne asada burrito customized my way: no guac, no onions, no pico de gallo—just cheese, beans, and carne asada. I add notes to put the salsa on the side (their red or green is awesome, and I like adding it myself) and to cut the burrito in half. Every time through DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub, the team gets every detail perfect—no mix-ups, no forgotten requests, and they handle customizations like pros.

He brought out homemade natural guava drink, he brought a small cup for my 17 month old and a side of rice for her to start eating. He brought food out without being asked and when he was asked he provided. We ordered chilaquiles red and green, a cheeseburger plain and a plate of carne asada. Because my husband didn’t order food, he brought out a side of small lentil soup for him. Once the meal was finished he provided my children complimentary ice cream popsicles.”

“We were in the area, and I was craving for coffee. I found this place with all the great reviews, so I decided to come by. It is located inside a plaza with lots of parking spaces. Parking was easy. They have both outdoor and in door seatings. Menu seems smaller, but still has enough options. I ordered matcha lavender latter and New Orleans cold brew. Both of our drinks were amazing! The cold brew is my favorite cold brew I have ever tried. I am unsure if it has oak milk in it, but it has a slight sweetness in it, which made it good! The matcha was strong, but not bitter, and it has a strong lavender scent, which I love. The only complaint I have is the size of the drinks were too small, and I was unable to enjoy it more. Too bad I left, or else I might go back and get another one. Cashier was friendly, patient, and kind that he explained different drinks to us. Very modern minimalist decorations, and they have magazine available to read in the store. I will come by again if I am in the area.”

I ordered the center cut NY strip, medium rare and Mom got the filet mignon rare. Received our orders and all the food was great! Steaks were cooked to order, sides were very good. The carafe of Conundrum was very tasty! Our server was very friendly and did a great job. A great experience.”

“Great spot for pho and noodles. The portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tastes fresh. The broth is rich and flavorful you can tell it’s been cooking for hours.

The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Definitely recommend trying the garlic noodles and the spring rolls they’re a perfect combo.

“My first time here was around spring break and we went on a Friday around 10 am and there was no line, plenty of pastries! Today (Saturday) was my second time, I was worried there would be too many people but as others have said, the line moves at a good pace. It took a min, but I was able to find street parking kinda far away but I don't mind the walk. I went around 10:20 am and by 10:35 I was inside. While waiting they passed out some chocolate panettone samples which was so nice of them! I was able to score everything I planned to buy, my rosemary focaccia, cinnamon croissant, croque moniseur, chocolate croissant and tomato cheese danish! I was so happy they weren't sold out, there was plenty of everything. I'm not a morning person but going around 10-11 am worked out for me. The quality is amazing and the staff is so friendly and attentive. Everything came out to be around almost $70 but I do think its worth it! I just wish they had a parking lot since I do have some driving/parking trouble. Make sure to check out their instagram for status on their lines and goods, they're always updating which is awesome!”

Very nice casual dining place in a shopping center right across from Stater Bros on the corner of Edinger and DiFairview. Love the Chicken Bowl with noodles and a crispy egg roll in the bowl. The vegetables and broth blend so well. The prices are very good. They even offer a Senior Discount. Try this place you will be pleased.”
