“Arrived for late happy hour, Thursday, About 5:30 pm...Went to check it out as a result of the venue just being recognized as a "Michelin Selected Restaurant".A slight wait to be acknowledged at entrance to be seated. A little discouraging but turned out to be no big deal. I was politely asked where I'd like to sit...chose the bar, as a single patron.I was quickly approached by the personable bartender/server, Garrick.I chose a margarita (jigger poured, approx 2oz tequila and 2 oz mix, shaken and strained into an ice filled, salted rim "bucket"). It was tasty, and satisfyingly potent...I had two, and actually felt a little buzz, and I'm not a lightweight!!!It was "Thursday Date Night", the only night you can get Bacon wrapped, cheese filled dates...VERY sweet n' savory, oh, and quite good.One of my reasons to visit, was to try the Blue Corn, deep fried, Chili Relleno. NOT your typical Relleno, except the cheese stuffed pepper, but was well worth the try...you should try it too!It sat in a thin red pepper type sauce that is quite potent. I loved it, but it might be too "hot" for the weak palate. CAREFUL!Overall, it was a very worthwhile visit, albeit short due to the damn parking meter!!!Some amateur diners might think that the offerings are a bit pricey, but it's actually appropriate, given the ingredients, preparation, and this lovely economy!!!Kudos to the kitchen staff, Garrick and also Aristotle, another personable front of house guy.

Parking: There's plenty of nearby parking, but... Parking for the Santa Ana Art Village is, from my perspective, all paid parking.THIS is the ONLY downside of my visit to this venue.$2.50 for an hour and fifteen minutes on the parking meter!!“

“Family run boba shop. Super friendly, great variety, lower than average prices, and a larger size option than typical boba places. There are closer shops near me but this one has become my go-to anyways. Staff are super nice and accommodate customization requests of all sorts. Only complaint is that they use a bit too much sweetener by default, but of course you can ask for less. But only if you order in person instead of on the touchscreen.“

“Hidden gem hole in the wall... that's also a chain? Literally all their sandwiches are good. They have variable stock with drinks and chips. I liked that they stocked Celsius but now they don't. These sandwiches hold up amazingly well. They are clearly made with the freshest ingredients and taste like they are made by people who love what they do. You can really taste a difference here. It's a must try.“

The bunelos are a great size and super yummy. They also have on the weekends sometimes tres leches or arroz con leche in a little cup that are excellent. So many options here.
