“We started out with the Roasty Toasty and Bourbon Caramel lattes (house made syrups!) and I literally cannot decide which one I like better! We paired that with a cinnamon roll to start! I then shifted to bottomless mimosas and they were hot on it making sure I was well taken care of. We got the croque madame for sustenance and it has the perfect ratio of cheese and ham. I want to go back every day!“
“love love their tea lattes! i ha e tried phoenix oolong, rose guanyin, and ceremonial grade matcha latte and they were all great!i would recommendphoenix oolong for anyone who likes classic oolongrose guanyin for anyone who likes sweet floral flavor. it kinda taste like lycheematcha latte for anyone who likes matcha ?♀️ the matcha is more on the sweet side and the flavor of matcha isn’t strong nor bitterthey also use real whole milk and oat milk and not the powder kind“
“The BEST burger, tator tots and most importantly service that I’ve gotten at a fast food drive thru place. The order taker had such kindness in his voice- the compassion and empathy vegans have really brought through his order taking. This was my first time ordering and I had a few questions- he was SO KIND with answering all of them. I ordered a jalapeño burger with no patty- he even asked if I wanted more veggies instead. And my goodness, it was seriously the most flavorful burger I’ve had. Like I’m craving it now! I usually have gone to in n out in the past and get their grilled cheese no cheese, but Nice Burger will be my go to place now. Phenomenal. Great job and keep it up!“
“Tacompadre in Santa Ana is a total winner! Let me tell you, their quesabirria tacos are the stuff dreams are made of. The birria is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and they don't skimp on the filling. But the real star is the crunchy flour tortilla. It's the perfect balance of texture to the juicy goodness inside.Looking for something a little different? The suadero alambre is a must-try. The suadero (skirt steak) is cooked to perfection, and the whole thing is overflowing with melty cheese. They don't forget the veggies either, which adds a nice freshness to the dish. And to top it all off, don't miss the chocoflan. It's the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Creamy chocolate meets decadent flan in this delightful dessert.Overall, Tacompadre is a hidden gem in Santa Ana. Amazing food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!“
“Food portion and quality was good. New cashier didn't explain that there was an upcharge for choosing panini bread for my sandwich. Posted menu price didn't match what they charged me, there was a 35 cent difference. Service was fast and friendly. Manager apologized for poorly trained cashier and pricing issue. I will come back again.“
“I was looking for a quick vegan spot by my hotel and wasn’t disappointed! I got the soul savior sub and would highly recommend it. A was working and was so accommodating.Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan/vegetarian friendlyDietary restrictions: Excellent choice for vegans, vegetarians, or anyone plant-based.“
“Went there once, they gave my wife and I each a free pastry. The old fashioned we got was delicious as well as the jalapeño cream cheese roll. Will be coming back to try the lumpias.Only negative is that a donut and two pastries cost just under $10.“
“Well pizza is good better than most this review is for the order takers or the person making the pizza. Someone needs to start paying attention. Your pizzas are not cheap and are decent quality si when some one is dropping almost 100 bucks on pizza the least you can do is add the extra cheese they pay for or any other toppings. This was the 4th time I ask for extra cheese and seems like you keep adding less. Its no the money i just hate getting robbed. Not asking for anything free just what we pay for“
“I get a sandwich here as a treat on my birthday every year. I love the Rachel. The sandwiches are really delicious and authentic to New York style, in my opinion. If you've ever enjoyed a Katz's style, super meaty, savory sandwich on toasted marble rye with toppings like Russian dressing and sauerkraut, come here! See you soon!“
“I had the *extreme* pleasure of stopping in here on my road trip and meeting Justin. My brown sugar milk tea w/ cheese foam was probably the best drink I’ve ever had. Justin, I would also let this tea knock me up if possible. You’re the shiz :)“
“This was my first shabu shabu experience. The food was so great and the staff prompt and friendly. We had a short wait, not that big of a deal, but the owner came over and said hi after we were seated and apologized with warm sake. Can't wait to come back to California and eat here again.“
“Late-night cravings led us to a hidden churro truck, where a sweet elderly lady took our order. The churros, cheap yet delicious, were freshly fried to perfection – crispy outside, soft inside. Easily one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend!“
“Good Philly cheesesteak and quick service on a Saturday afternoon. The cheesesteak was oozing with cheese and grilled veggies. There was plenty of seating inside and outside in 4th Street's market fun patio area that has games and TVs.My only issue with the Deli Station was that they didn't provide water, but you can easily grab it from the bar next door.“
“We were in Santa Ana on business, and stopped at Fresh off the Boat Fish Grill the first night for dinner. We went back every night that week for dinner. 4 days we got takeout salads with a couple appetizers. Very reasonably priced and decently sized portions. We tried Greek salad, gyro salad, and filet salad, as well as pita with garlic sauce and cauliflower bites. One day we ate in and we each got Mexican bowl and it was delicious. Everything is fantastic. The homemade salad dressings and sauces are delicious. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. We ate outside one night on the little side porch with propane heaters for warmth and the atmosphere was very pleasant. My husband will have more trips to Santa Ana, and I am positive we will eat here again.“
“tacos dorados very good. spicy green salsa. enjoyed ensenada fish and also shrimp taco as well. taco governador was terrible. not griddled enough, cheese not melted. very very sad version of this type of taco that i usually love. they were getting pretty overwhelmed and confused with the orders even though it wasn't super crowded. food took a long time.“
“Come stop in! Patrick made my experience. He was so patient & helpful as I was debating my selection. Having never been here before, I wanted to try to espresso by itself but also wanted to try a seasonal bevvie. He recommended I try the Campfire Capp & that he could do a split shot so I could taste the espresso separately. The Capp was made to perfection*, & the espresso was a lovely Colombian. I will definitely be back when in the area!“
“Something to note: Elohim & all of the taco trucks in the area used to be located on Grand ave, but have recently relocated to Harvard St.I absolutely love getting Elohim crepes for dessert after having tacos for dinner I love love love crepes and the price of $9 for unlimited syrups and toppings is such a steal. Personally, I prefer not to overdo it with toppings, so I just get nutella and strawberries every time. If u pay with cash, there's no extra fee, but if u pay with card there will be. I believe the fee is relative to how much you spend, so it can range from $2-$3 but I don't mind. The wait can get pretty long later at night, so I'd recommend going closer to opening if you don't want to wait. These crepes are so fresh so there's inevitably a bit of a wait, but they're warm, moist, and soft as a result. My favorite crepe spot ever!!“
“This place was DELICIOUS. I came here with one of my friends and we got the wings, some fries, and the Thai salad :) all was delicious and fresh and very well seasoned. We also got 2 drinks each and they were both so yummy! I got the lychee martini and the so fresh so green and they were so good!!!!! The lychee martini was more bitter and the so fresh so green was sweeter and lighter. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly! And the ambiance is cool, it's a tiny little place with a few tables and a bar so it felt very intimate :) I would return!“
“I don’t drink often but Marc seems to understand my palette better than myself and recommends me the perfect beverage every time. The atmosphere is a breath of fresh air the moment you walk in, if you’re looking for a good time AND a long time all at once, bring yourself here alone or with a group of friends!“
“OMG!!!! So delicious.... My husband and I had the hungry faka plate to share and that plate could have fed 3-4 people. Everything was perfectly cooked and so yummy. The service was amazing definitely with aloha. If your in there area definitely worth checking out. It's like a food court of different food ethics. But easy to find. We definitely would return. Pictures only say so much too.“
“a phenomenal Taco establishment, some of the best burrito I have ever had. quite a gem. I had El Pollo loco burritos two days before and I think it is safe to say I will never have them again. these are real burritos you know, it's a different thing. the El Pollo loco burritos made me sick but fortunately that did not stop me from my love of burritos. sometimes if you get sick after eating something it gets hard to enjoy that thing. b I learned this in psychology class. the human body is amazing but it is so full of hatred sometimes.“
“Love this place for good food in a chill, relaxed environment. Very comfy and cozy. Service can be a bit slow but that goes with the vibe. Smaller menu but everything has been yummy. My favorite so far is the Elote Mac and Cheese.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but parking is not close.“
“The BEST tacos ever and you wouldn't expect it from a small truck-cart. The al pastor is Sooooo flavourful and they give you grilled onions with it. The salsa verde is perfect and super spicy which is great. Our go-to is the quesitaco de pollo y de pastor con todo. It is 100% worth“
“Had the Drunken Fries with Rattlesnake and Rabbit Sausage and it was absolutely delicious ? definitely recommend coming here for a beer and food in DTSA. Or if you are walking from another bar and need something to soak up your drinks, this is a place to do it with good eats. Service was a touch slow, but it could've been due to low staff or it being busy for trivia night. And they do cook the food fresh upon order (they had a sign at the register) so it is piping hot (which my food was ??). I cannot argue with any of that“
“I noticed that one of my icons is for "breakfast burrito" so I thought I'd lean into it, especially since amazing breakfast burritos are found all over Southern California, where I frequently travel for work as a criminal defense lawyer.Anyway, I was at the state court in Santa Ana so i thought I'd try Pop's. It's an old timey diner set up with counter service and a few tables. They have all kinds of breakfast but I was here for the burrito, which I got with ham. This was a gringo style breakfast burrito, the best example of the genre is Ham n Scram in Westminster. It had the chopped up ham, hash browns, cheesish, eggs and a Pico de Gallo with Tapatio in a bottle. The ingredients were pretty obviously Sysco, which is fine. A little heavy on the hashbrowns, which were also a tad undercooked, but I devoured it and the five stars speaks for itself.Vegetarian options: Eggs!Dietary restrictions: Dairy, glutenParking: Street parkingKid-friendliness: Sure.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables in front“
“This review is long overdue, and I hesitated to write it. Tacos El Panzas is my husband's and my all-time favorite. I selfishly wish we could keep it our little secret. It's truly something special. Forget fancy decor and trendy vibes - this no-frills gem serves up the most incredible Mexican food from their truck. Their carne asada, pollo tacos, and mulitas are simply unmatched. Don't miss out!“
“This pizza is a taste all its own. I'm a Detroiter. Cali's, like one review here, doesn't get it and is a hater.California, unless you've traveled to say Sicily (or Detroit)won't crave this thick , cheesey type of pizza. This is an old recipe loved by Detroiters, and many, from 2 pizza places , Buddy's and Cloverleaf bar. Old school. Love that I found you all the way out here.“
“Ordered some shrimp empanadas and the Tostada Caliente. I wasn't prepared for the journey my tongue was about to embark on upon taking a bite into that empanada. The empanada was so good that it made me forgive everyone that's ever wronged me. The tostada caliente was so flavorful, I wasn't even prepared for it. I gave some to my neighbor, we've been fighting for years. But after sharing some of this food with him, we're now pals. We're supposed to grill next Saturday. All jokes aside, food is great, customer service is excellent. And I highly recommend.“
“Phenomenal, locally owned craft brewery in Santa Ana! The handcrafted beers are extraordinary, and all guests are welcomed by the brewmaster/owner's pop! Their Agua del Rio lager is on tap year-round, everything else rotates. They pair up with wonderful local catering trucks so you won't go hungry! Kaya's Kitchen served up a mean cheese steak and pastrami!“
“We have used La Carreta for two birthday parties and my friend used them for his wedding. Absolutely love their tacos and everything they have to offer. Can't wait for the next opportunity to use them to cater an event.Kid-friendliness: Catering / Bday Party: My toddler loves the potato tacos, quesadilla and the rice and bean.“
“The serving sizes are generous and the drink I ordered was pleasantly but not overwhelmingly sweet. Boba was nice and chewy. The menu is pretty big and there's a lot of interesting things on it, so I'd probably come back again in the future to try out some more of their stuff.“
“Definitely a must try came down all the way from Canada and would return again. I had the lengua and Asada taco and both were spectacular very flavourful and the meat melts away in your mouth. To compliment the taco I also got a Elote Asada and I have to say it was the best I’ve ever had, not to mention great prices for what you get no cheaping out on anything.Kid-friendliness: Super happy, energetic and welcoming staff !Parking: Easy to find parking right by the truck“
“Whenever the taco truck is parked outside, it's a clear sign my workday is about to get a whole lot better. This isn't just your average food truck; it's authentic Mexican food that has never failed to impress me or my colleagues. The menu might be simple, but the flavors are anything but. Each taco, burrito, and quesadilla is packed with fresh, zesty ingredients that are a testament to true Mexican cuisine. The truck is spotlessly clean, the service is quick, and the staff always greets you with a smile that's just as warm as their delicious carne asada.Whether it's a quick chorizo burrito to kickstart my day or a set of al pastor tacos for lunch, I've loved everything I've tried. And it's not just me--everyone at work looks forward to seeing this taco truck. It's the kind of place where after your first visit, they treat you like a regular.I can't recommend this taco truck enough. If you find yourself near dyer & pullman, do yourself a favor and grab a bite here. Support this local gem and your tastebuds will be rewarded with some of the best Mexican food in town!“
“Elevated modern Mexian cuisine that is light and refreshing. Staff are eager to tell you about sauces, syrups, and other homemade menu items. I had the following items that I highly recommend: Passionfruit mocktail, Aguachiles, empanadas, pork belly tacos, and their amazing chocolate dessert.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options like the empanadas, Jamaica tacos, and desserts.“
“I’ve been going to this place when in town for over 10 years and it has never let me down. Impeccable menu, top notch service and atmosphere, and the bartenders know exactly how to do things. Cant say enough just how awesome this place is.“
“I love this afghani restaurant so much! I've been there a couple of times with my family and it's been incredible every time. The service is amazing and they were patient and explained the spices in each dish (because of an allergy). They were so careful and considerate. I love coming here because everyone is so nice and the food is delicious. The chai is a must!!“
“If you are looking for a quick nutritious breakfast, lunch or dinner options, this is the spot. All protein and vitamins base snacks, shakes and energy drinks. For me after my workout I get a post workout shake with a good amount of protein, glutamine and branch amino acids. Besides that, everything is delicious.... And the customer service is amazing.“
“Mexican food culture at its finest! ? Took me almost a whole year for everything to align for me to be here and experience the magic of "Café Cultura." A coffee house like no other. Everything from the decor, service, and food was amazingly good! I dare say the golden staple of what a coffee ☕️ house should be like. If you're looking for mediocre, go to Starbucks (oops! Sorry, not sorry) Thank you, guys, we truly enjoyed everything. ?“
“I love this little cafe! It really feels like an out of town experience here- like you’re in Europe. The food is good- great for breakfast or a light lunch, and there are great options for coffee and pastries. The outdoor sitting area is small, so dine in is hard and often busy on weekends.“
“Food is made when you order. You get it hot and delicious. Since it is made when ordered, it takes time. Well worth the wait. I do recommend calling to place an order. Cemitas are awesome and gorditas de chicharrón presado delicious. Super highly recommend“
“Highly recommend this whole in the wall place. Purchased the birria tacos ? and quesobirria they both were great the tortillas are made on the spot they are very fullfilling.. parking is probably the only issue but plenty of it on flower St. And just walk to location. Definitely will be back.“
“The 4th Street Market is a great little spot to go if you want to have a lot of options for fun bites. There are about ten different food vendors that have their own little popups inside, as well as a permanent coffee bar and actual bar. If you have a group, everyone can grab the specific food that they’re in the mood for, which makes it a fantastic spot to go with friends. And best of all, it’s right next to The Frida Theater, the very best movie theater in the entirety of Orange County. Bring your friends for some fun food and drinks, then see a movie at The Frida.“
“Never seen this truck till Friday 1/27 night and decided to give them a try. I got asada tacos and my husband got chorizo, chicken and el pastor. I got to say my asada tacos were pretty good and juicy, and need I mention no fat! Husband liked all of his tacos and would say the chorizo was his favorite. The salsas are also good too! Will go again!“
“Best bar in Santa Ana, been here three nights in a row. If you‘re into beer, this is your spot in SA. They have a selection of like 15+ draft beers, staff is always friendly and down to have a drink and chat. Also pool and karaoke! The bouncers are super chill and hung out with us all the time. Definitely my go to spot when I‘m in the area.“
“This is my second time going.. both times were a pleasant experience. The young guy who took my order was very welcoming, polite, and helpful. He offers great customer service. Also the cook was very kind and attentive when he gave me my order. The food is delicious and service is quick.“
“Finally got around to try this food truck tried the taco acorazado which was delicious meat was super soft and tasty green salsa was on the spicy side but food really didn't need it flavor was good I highly recommend trying this place out“
“Even though I am scared to death of Chucky, I decided to face my fear and try this food truck. I had to have their specialty (and namesake), the shrimp, which was delicious, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Also tried the fish taco, which was great, although a little expensive. Service was fast - there wasn't a line, but the food was prepared rapidly. I see that they have a variety of other things, and some customization, including the ability to choose the meat of your choice (or choose vegetarian). Long live Chucky! (And I did not have any evil doll come to life nightmares after eating here).“
“Went to this place after a family function and the food was amazing. Enchiladas were so good. The servers were always checking in despite it being busy. Great service and I loved the pineapple margaritas they had! Loved the little hacienda type decor. Amazing place.“
“Pollo Loco ain't got nothing on this ! (I still love you pollo loco) but man this place was good ! I came here with the family for my brother's birthday, and we were all skeptical at first. The menu wasn't very large and the prices were definitely on the higher side for this type of restaurant, but we were hungry and decided to order anyways. I got there Lomo Stack and it was soooo good ! The sandwich or torta (not sure exactly what it was) was probably one of the best I've ever had. Everything from the flavor to the texture was spot on ! I also had some of there chicken legs and thighs and it was all very juicy and flavorful! I'm glad I was able to try this place. Although I don't see myself spending $17 on a sandwich very often, I can't wait for the next time I stop by this place. If you're in the South Coast area this is a MUST TRY!“
“Excellent business, I would give this business 10 stars, because they have a variety of refreshing drinks and desserts, my favorite drink is the Mystic Mermaid, I recommend it.Pedro, and Justin, and their family are very friendly, and provide excellent customer service. The decoration of the place is very beautiful, and it is always impeccable, as for its cleanliness, I love this place.Kid-friendliness: There are drinks for children“
