“Stopped by in late morning so most of the donuts are gone. Plenty of parking since they have their own parking lot within the plaza. The location is convenient since it’s right next to the freeway entrance so that’s why I stopped by. The place is clean, well organized with couple seating inside as well as outside. Got a couple donuts and an iced coffee…didn’t know that it’s VNese iced coffee so it’s abit sweet for me and the cost for it is almost $7 (yike) but it’s in a nice cup. Donuts are nice and soft with nicely generous filling. Will coffee and a stuffed filling lemon donut & 6 donut holes cost $11 (rounded up), yup, the iced coffee cost more then I expected, but it’s good overall. Will stop by to try their other sandwiches (looks good) next time.“

“Was craving for some soft sweet tofu and they have special deal here for it on Sunday. Also got some Tofu & pennywort juice too. Parking is fine since it is a big complex plaza with good size parking. The place is open space, clean, and spacious. Small but enough for several high tables for dine-in and several tables/chairs outside. Nice & varies choices menu. Staff are nice and friendly. The drinks are nicely mixed and refreshing, the tofu is great & also refreshing with the syrup and coconut milk. Just simply yummy.“

So I heard that they’re known for the Pate Chaud and baguettes, and they do yummy. I ordered a pate chaud, a sandwich and a sweet treat. Pate Chaud has a great but small portion well mixed meat filling, the crusty pastry was mixed for me, top part was crusty and smell fantastic but as you voted into it, it become tough and abit chewy for me. The bánh mì, for me didn’t do much - just nothing special. The baguette was not hot nor crisp as you bite in it, it was just room temperature. The size is abit smaller then other place with decent price for it. The opera cake was abit disappointed for me, I love love this cake and it was just below average for me, abit sweeter then I would like, the bottom of the cake sticked to the paper and the cake itself was just fell like cake mixed from the box. Just nothing special. The displaced cakes look great so will come back to get them to give a taste another time.“

“I’ve been getting coffee at both the Brookhurst and Moran Location for many years. Their coffee has a balanced sweetness and bitterness to it with a hint of chicory.

FYI: This place is mainly for on the go. Unless you plan on dining in somewhere nearby, there is no place to sit and enjoy the coffee and/or the pastries provided.

Overall, if you want to get some caffeine in your system for a quick jolt of energy and you’re in the Little Saigon area, I highly recommend getting your coffee at Gala.“

The rolled rice paper dish is sooo gooood!! I was hating on the wave of “an vat” food the viet youngins started but I’m a believer now too. So flavorful and so fresh. They are heavy handed with the rau ram or Vietnamese coriander which happens to be my fave herb!

Rolled rice paper: shredded mango, quail egg or reg egg, shredded Asian style beef jerky, Vietnamese coriander, dried krill or baby shrimp, peanuts, fried shallots, drizzle of mayo based sauce, tamarind based dipping sauce.

I ordered this dish 7 times already this month.

My favorite drink here is the WHITE BEAR. I never thought I would like the idea of tea mixed with coffee but the hojicha pairs so well with the coffee and it’s just overall so smooth and creamy.

The egg pate banh mi was good too. Never in my life have I had rau ram/vietnamese coriander in a banh mi but I’m not complaining. It comes with egg, cha lua, pate, and the usual fixings. The bread was toasted nicely and it’s soft, cuz I know you pansies out there complain about hard bread. Us banh mi gangsters can handle the hard bread because in turn it’s crispy. If it’s not cutting up the roof of your mouth, it’s not right 🤣

They told me i couldn’t order food thru the drive thru bc it takes longer to make so I guess I’d be holding up the drive thru line. Put up a sign then, or did I miss it?“

“What a fantastic little gem! I've been here a few times this month, and each visit has been completely delightful, with so many yummy treats to enjoy. They have an amazing number of ice cream flavors (more than 31 flavors I bet) and there's lots of seating so you can hangout and savor every bit of your ice cream! “This is a small food purveyor. They are best know for their delicious Roast Duck and cooled pork products. The food is delicious, very old school. We travel from Mission Viejo regularly for their food. Again it’s a small “hole in the wall” “mom and pop” place.

The way we found this place was we went to eat at another restaurant in the same strip mall and saw a long line of locals going out the door and down past several other stores. You could see the duck, chicken, pork ribs and belly hanging in the window. As fast and the cook brought them out to hang, people were buy up the succullent meats.

So you gotta stop by and buy some of their meats and other dishes to bring home

“I’ve known about Bangkok Pai for quite a while. It’s located inside the T&K Plaza, a long established shopping center in the Bolsa area. I usually come here to order takeout for a quick lunch or on days when I feel too lazy to cook.

Besides the classic Thai dishes like Pad See Ew and Pad Thai, their desserts really stand out to me. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently good. My favorite dessert is the cassava topped with fresh shredded coconut. It’s slightly chewy, fragrant, and lightly sweet such a comforting and satisfying treat.

Parking in this plaza can be a bit challenging since it’s a busy commercial area with many businesses. However, the affordable prices and friendly service make it worth it.

I’ll definitely continue coming back to support long-standing local spots like this in the Bolsa neighborhood.“

“This Tous les Jours is tucked inside HMart a super convenient little stop when you need a quick pick me up coffee and something sweet. Came by the other day for a coffee and pastry run. The ube latte was so good and not overly sweet. Just smooth and flavorful. The pastries were dangerous tho. Lol. I will say tho when I was in Seoul last year they had this grapefruit tea that I’m still thinking about. I really wish they had it here because it was that good! Service here is fast there’s almost never a line and being inside the HMart food court makes it a convenient grab and go while you’re shopping.“
