“Great Sandwiches, wonderful service“

“We love the ice cream here! The workers are incredibly sweet and keep the line moving fast, no matter how busy it gets. That said, the lack of restrooms is a huge drawback. Their website does say to 'plan ahead,' but as any parent of young kids knows, that's easier said than done! We've actually had two bathroom accidents at RC now, which really makes us second-guess visiting. Since it's such a popular seasonal spot, I wouldn't think it'd be too hard to at least provide a porta-potty. It would make a world of difference for families in a pinch.“

“Food was excellent. You can taste the quality of ingredients and I mean everything from the tomatoes to the rice was delicious. The tortilla had a bit of a burnt taste to it. Would love to see them upgrade it to something with a little more rise but the wrap portion was massive! 2 burritos in one. “Really delicious food and friendly and attentive staff. I asked if they had the special fish sauce (NƯỚC CHẤM) for spring rolls rather than peanut sauce, and they made it for me especially. The pho noodles were amazingly tasty. Everything was good! And fresh. I will be back!“

“An American Legion post is not for everyone. However for others it's home. This is a place where people are genuinely glad to see you, and care for your well being. It is a place for those of us who served our county and bare the scars of that, to go and be with those who understand.“

“I wanted a to-go (takeout) Thai food option. I decided to get the chicken pad thai; it was good! A tip I would recommend is that you should definitely squeeze a slice of lime on the pad thai, add the crushed peanuts, and add at least one soy sauce packet BEFORE mixing it well.“

“Food is great, service is even better, atmosphere is cool too but they don’t run their air conditioning! We have all come to expect a/c when we go into a restaurant, specially on a hot day, but this location goes against the grain on this. There’s nothing quite like sweating all over while trying to eat your lunch. Lesson learned, I won’t come here if it’s a hot day!“

“Loved this hotel. Staff were courtesy, always helpful and the hotel (both in and outside) were being cleaned nonstop. The only downfall of this stay were the rude guests who were there and the nonstop partying they were having at the pool. My recommendation to the hotel: shift the pool hours from 10-10pm to 9am - 9pm. Quiet hours are supposed to start at 9pm, but when you have a pool open until 10pm, you invited unruly guests to stay there until 10pm. Staff tried to quiet them down, but to no avail. Again, not the fault of the hotel for having rude guests, but there is a solutions to prevent this from happening again. Future guests - do NOT stay at a ground level room next to the pool if are an early go to bed type of have young kids whose bedtime is at 730pm (like mine are). I recommend staying far away from the pool as possible just in case you have the same rude crowd I did during Labor Day weekend. I still give this hotel five stars though!!“

“The Loft Hawaiian Grill in Cypress is one of those local places I keep coming back to. The service is always friendly, the food is consistently good, and I definitely have my favorites.

Their Chinese chicken salad is one of them. The dressing is amazing! Seriously, that dressing is what makes the salad. And of course, I always have to get a Spam musubi. Always. Spam Musubi.

If you’re trying to eat a little healthier, don’t sleep on the lettuce wraps either. They’re fresh, flavorful and actually satisfying without feeling like you just ate a huge plate lunch.

But one of the best deals around has to be their lunch special. As of September 2026, it’s only $7.84 plus tax! You get your choice of two kinds of chicken over steamed rice, ramen cabbage salad AND a drink. Where can you even get a full lunch for that price anymore?

“Honestly this is as good as a Jersey Mike's gets. It's clean, the line doesn't get too long, and sandwiches are made well. No complaints at all - honestly I forgot I hadn't reviewed this location yet, and I'm surprised by its current score. Yeah, if you're looking for ambiance and candlelit white cloth tables, this isn't your spot. If you want a good sandwich at a decent price, this is it.“

“This is a nice neighborhood restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the place was clean. If you need a quick bite, with good home style good, this is a great place to go. The restaurant is in need of some upgrades but everything appeared to be in good order other than their A/C which was not working properly. “Delicious food and stellar service. Everyone was helpful and smiley. The grilled chicken bowl was seasoned beautifully, the ingredients very fresh, served nice and hot. There were 4 in our party, and all people could do was rave about their meal choices. (2 different chicken bowls, and 2 shrimp bowls. Yum!“

“I love Mitsuwa! It’s my favorite Japanese grocery store. However this location is noticeably smaller than the other locations. If you are doing a somewhat big of a grocery run, I fear that you may not find what you are looking for. I just came for onigiri and snacks and even then, I couldn’t find the snacks I was looking for since it’s so small. The food court is also small although delicious. I recommend the omusubi gonbei! I wouldn’t make a special trip here if I were not already in the area. If you don’t live close to cypress, you are better off taking a drive to Torrance or Costa Mesa for a better experience and more options.“

“Food is better than other Alberto's locations, and is getting to be better than Albertacos as well. Service is good too, the employees are friendly and helpful. I like the super fries burrito, no beans (basically a Cali burrito with guacamole and sourcream), and my kid likes their breakfast burritos.“
