“Starting with the food. I got the fresh salmon, popping salmon, fluffy egg, and grilled spicy pork. I liked the fluffy egg and grilled spicy pork the best.
Fresh salmon is alright. It is what it is with basically poke quality salmon. Light and refreshing.
Popping salmon has like sort of a buldak/rameny flavor for the marinade which I didn’t like but my partner liked. Not too spicy.
Grilled spicy pork is fairly typical dwaegi gogi, which i like so i’m a little biased. i thought it was good with the yubu. Plenty of pork marinade seeping through the rice. Not very spicy.
Fluffy egg did not have as much roe as the picture lead me to believe but it was good. It also had a few salmon roe for some reason but I liked it. Nice and savory. Egg was wet-ish and soft. nice.
Prices are fairly reasonable. I’d say 3-4 would be a pretty filling meal for the average person. about $5-7 each yubu after tax. I’ve never seen a yubu restaurant before. Vibes are kind of grab and go but they have a decent amount of seating for like groups of 4-5 maybe (like 3-4 tables)
Pretty okay neat looking modern place on the inside. I might try again if I was craving something in particular. I wanted to try the Garlic Butter Crab that other reviews were talking about.“

“Such a great find! The egg salad sandwich was very reasonably priced and tasted super fresh, honestly really good. We also tried one of their strawberry cakes and loved it. It wasn’t overly sweet at all, tasted incredibly fresh, and was loaded with strawberries. What really surprised me was the price, almost half of what you’d pay at Paris Baguette or Tous Les Jours for the same quality (if not better). All of the pastries tasted homemade, fresh, and perfectly balanced, not overly sugary. Definitely coming back!“

“Best galbitang I’ve ever had in my life in the world, including any that I’ve tried in Korea. Portions were great, service was great, prices very reasonable especially considering how California can be. 10/10 would recommend this place, super comforting food.“
“I came to Arc when they first opened and it was so so good. It’s been my go to spot every time I’m in the area and would highly recommend it. I always get the honey butter latte.Today I wanted to try the matcha since I’ve only gotten the honey butter latte before, so I ordered the earl gray matcha and it’s SO GOOD!! I get the drinks half sweet so I could enjoy them. Also, they sell tins of Rocky’s matcha powder. Definitely come to Arc if you’ve been wanting to try it out. Update I tried the coconut matcha as well, it’s yummy but I think next time I’d ask for it to not be a cloud matcha.“

“I recently visited Myungin Dumpling Buena Park and wow… the dumplings were absolutely amazing.
What really surprised me though was the fried chicken — I honestly didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be just as good (if not better!). Super crispy, flavorful, and seriously addictive.
Also… apologies for the lack of photos. I didn’t even think about it before digging in — I just couldn’t wait to get everything in my mouth!
On top of that, the service attendants were incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
Definitely coming back again!“

“This place is definitely a hidden gem! Not only is their customer service great the food and dessert items are amazing~ I have yet to find another spot that makes Korean cafe-style sandwiches quite like they do (the Signature Village sandwich is my absolute favorite). I’ve also ordered cakes from here several times, and they are both affordable and delicious. Honestly, they should be charging more for the quality they deliver! Their macarons are absolutely amazing, and you have to try the banana coffee. Its so good!
They also do special menu items during holidays like Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, and Christmas. It is definitely worth grabbing those limited editions when they pop up!“

“Food was decent but was disappointed to find some bacon in one of my burritos 10 years ago I would have thought it was a good bonus but I've been vegetarian for 10 years so it was a bummer and the burritos were a little small but over all everything I ordered was good“

“Holy smokes, this place is awesome. We are visiting from Denver and although we have tons of cool enough donut shops there, they’re all waaaay too sweet. I think that’s a US thing—to just overwhelm everyone with garbage ingredients and too much sugar. Old Ferry, having originated in Seoul, SK, is different. Korean treats are always so much better than the US because they aren’t drenched in sugar to make them palatable. These donuts are no different. The sweetness level is perfection. The dough is chewy and moist without being undercooked or doughy. And the matcha 🍵 flavor in the stuffed matcha donut was authentic and just plain delicious. Please please please visit and support this business!!! Delicious! We will be back next time we are in LA and will DEFINITELY be visiting when we are finally able to make it over to Seoul. :)“

I've visited this location a few times, usually in the middle of a northern CA - southern CA road trip.
Fun breads and snacks. Creative scones and cookies flavors and yummy chubby cheesecake. Signage is easy to read.
Super friendly staff.
There's a quiet seating area inside and a fun patio seating area outside.
Will definitely visit again.“

“I recently visited Haru Sushi, a to-go sushi spot that offers an exceptional experience in both taste and value for money. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The most compelling aspect of Haru Sushi is its remarkable value for the quality of taste. The sushi, made with fresh ingredients and the craftsmanship of seasoned sushi chefs, melts delightfully in your mouth, providing a joyful experience with every bite. The ability to enjoy various kinds of sushi at a reasonable price was particularly satisfying for me, someone who prioritizes good value. However, my nearly perfect experience at Haru Sushi came with a slight inconvenience. The establishment only accepts cash and not credit cards. In today's society, where digital payments have become the norm, the need to prepare cash in advance could be seen as a minor nuisance. Nevertheless, this small inconvenience is easily outweighed by the exceptional taste and value offered by Haru Sushi. In conclusion, Haru Sushi stands out as a to-go sushi spot for its excellent taste and value for money. While the inability to use credit cards is a downside, the quality and price certainly make up for it. I am fully inclined to revisit Haru Sushi whenever the opportunity arises. I highly recommend Haru Sushi to anyone looking to enjoy delicious sushi at a reasonable price.“

“This is a great place to get you coffee and sweets. My son and I have been coming every Saturday for the past year or so, and the staff have been more than welcoming. The coffee is great and the pastries are the best around.
Owner is also around often and is great at welcoming and making you feel like you are more than just a customer — you are a friend that is welcomed with excitement. She chats up and greets my 4 year old son every Saturday. Such a joyful place. I have also come in to work and it is quiet enough to lock in and get work done.“

“Fresh Bagels & Cafe is a popular local spot for bagels, breakfast, and lunch. Even on busy days, the food and service don't disappoint. The kind and hardworking staff can get you in and out quickly. I've been enjoying the food here for a few years.
I appreciate the variety of freshly baked bagels, along with a selection of cream cheese flavors. A few favorite items include toasted bagels with lox-flavored cream cheese, breakfast/omelette bagel sandwiches, and the Lox City bagel, which is perfect for hungrier mornings. The hot coffee options are good with your standard creams, sugars, and spices.
The traditional and specialty sandwiches served on a Dutch Crunch roll are also delicious. Additional food items include classic muffins, fresh rolls, croissants, and flavored cream cheeses to take home. The drinks available feature a variety of coffees, juices, smoothies, boba, teas, and more.
I'd recommend this place, and I'm looking forward to visiting again.“

“Hangyang has been one of the must visit places ever since I found it about 15 years ago when I visited Anaheim for blizzcon. The place only serves a limited staple of Korean food but what they serve they do them so well that it's worth going just for that small menu. Over the years they expanded their menu but their staple imo is the galbi tang or beef bone soup. It comes with 2 pieces of large beef bones. The soup is delicious and is paired perfect with the mustard sauce.
There are other delicious offering such as the thistle rice bowl. I'd say because of the limited menu everything is great. The parking lot can be packed especially in the weekend as all the church goes come by. Most of the clienteles are usually middle aged or older so you know they know what authentic Korean food is.
The service is extremely efficient and very friendly. The place is clean just like most Korean restaurants. Nothing to complain about. Order the galbi tang and you'll be coming back.“

“After having dinner in the same plaza and trying to satisfy our sweet tooth, we were on the hunt for nearby dessert. While you see more of the gas station / car wash that they are near, we saw the Honeymee sign and searched for the window to order. It's more near the side of the intersection, so if you see the gas station, just keep walking towards the striped awnings.
I had a hard time deciding because I wanted the honeycomb, but also wanted matcha and the coffee milkshake sounded good too. I ended up picking the matcha affogato ($6.50). It's not that large a cup, so it was easy for me to finish. The matcha is light and even though it's called an affogato, there's no coffee at all. It was more satisfying than other desserts in the plaza, so there's that. Next time I would want to try the coffee milkshake as my friend pronounced multiple times how good it was!
They have some covered tables outside for seating and you order by the window. If it gets hot, I can see it be a bit uncomfortable. Plenty of parking in the plaza.“

“The Lobster Guys in Buena Park absolutely delivers when it comes to food. Everything tasted amazing—fresh, flavorful, and downright delicious. The portions are generous and worth every bite, especially if you’re a seafood lover.
That said, the service is very no-nonsense. Don’t even think about asking for small menu tweaks—like mixing lobster and shrimp tacos in one order. The response is a firm (and loud) no. What’s on the menu is what you get, period.
Not ideal, but honestly, that kind of attitude comes with the territory at some spots. If you go in knowing that and focus on the food, you’ll leave happy and full.“

“The lady at the counter was very understanding of my request. I came in asking for trays that I can use for a birthday cake. I was going to take at least 14 trays and I offered to buy something to cover the cost of the materials, but she said it's okay and that I could take as many as I like. She was very generous and very kind. I've been here before and I love this place. Their photo booth is also very cute and it's where me and my boyfriend took photos for our 1st year anniversary.“

“Quaint little sit down restaurant inside Ghost Town. We ordered the Roasted Chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. The roasted drumsticks and thigh were very moist and flavorful. However, the large chicken breast was dry and hard. My teen ordered the Ghost Town Burger with French fries and said it was dry, needed thousand island or a moist beef patty. Fries were crunchy (dry but had good seasoning).“

““Don Melt is one of the best plant-based, dairy free ice cream places I’ve been to. The desserts were excellent, and the customer service was truly above and beyond. Anne and Vanessa were especially outstanding. They were welcoming, attentive, and took the time to educate me on many of the flavors, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal.
Honestly, the level of service felt better than Chick fil A and Disney combined. Their care, professionalism, and hospitality made a lasting impression, and they absolutely deserve recognition for it. It is rare to find a place that offers both high quality dairy free options and service at this level.
I highly recommend Don Melt to anyone looking for a dessert spot with great plant based options and exceptional customer care. This is definitely a place people should come check out.”“
“Someone brought a box to my office and I ate the mocha bread among the many breads. It was really delicious. I think it's better than the nearby 8 Daeng. It’s not too sweet and the bread feels moist! I recommend it to anyone who likes mocha bread like me.“

“Summary: fast service, delicious black milk tea, reasonable price. The Gong Cha near where I live closed a while ago, and to be honest, nothing would beat Gong Cha in my heart. My favorite drink is the simple black milk tea with 50% sugar. When I visited this place during the weekend, there was no line and wait. Service was fast. The cashier who took my order was super friendly and patiently responded to all my questions as it had been forever since the last time I had been at Gong Cha.“

“Nancy's is unassuming, a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. I can't believe it took a long time to visit. I've dropped in a couple of times already and enjoyed my meals. They have a local feel when you walk inside.
There is a little bit of a wait, and I think they make the food to order, so it's hot and fresh when you receive it. I recommend that if you plan to take out, call ahead to place your order to save time.
They are known for their pupusas, which I got on my first visit. I was curious after reading some of the positive reviews. I ordered the revuelta and chicken with cheese. Both had great flavors and would consider getting them again.
The flavorful, crispy empanadas were among my favorites. I got the carne (beef) and spinach with cheese empanadas and loved them. The perfectly fried shell and flavorful filling.
Their Salvadoran tamales are prepared in the traditional style, with a flavorful filling and soft, moist masa, wrapped in banana leaves rather than corn husks. I love Mexican-style tamales (especially homemade), so this was a new experience trying Salvadoran-style tamales.
I think most people will order takeout, but there's a moderately sized dining area with tables. It has a local feel and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was kind and provided great service. The prices are fair for the quality of the food.
I still can't believe I waited this long to visit Nancy's. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.
Note:
There is a little charge for using credit cards, so cash would be better if you want to avoid the CC charge.“

“My coworkers recommended this place and I finally stopped by on a weekday lunch. So glad I did!
It's a cute little spot tucked in a small plaza next to Atoyubu, with a few tables and bar seating. The owner greeted us right when we walked in.
I went with the plain thick yogurt bowl topped with honey drizzle, grapefruit, kiwi, and yuzu puree. My friend got hers with chocolate syrup, strawberry, mango, and mochi with granola on the side. Both were amazing.
The yogurt is honestly hard to describe...somewhere between ice cream and cream cheese, but lighter. Like Greek yogurt without any of the tanginess. It felt indulgent but still on the healthier side, which I really appreciated.
Some might say it's a bit pricey, but you really can't find anything like this elsewhere. The yuzu puree topping is an absolute must! I'll be getting that every time. Definitely coming back!“
