“This year we chose Black Bear diner for the location of our annual Chrispen Team Pumpkin Pie giveaway, and we couldn't have been more impressed. The manager Isaid was amazing from the start helping me plan the event and order hundreds of pies. The large patio provided a private and cheerful atmosphere and was the perfect spot for the event. Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. All of our clients raved about how delicious the pies were and loved the convenient location. We can't wait to come back next year!“

My two complaint is that there is an odd smell in the arena and seating is not the best. There is no space to go in and out easily so everyone in your row has to get up if you have to leave to the bathroom or you can try to climb over the seats.“

“We made a reservation for 7pm on a Friday night. Had to wait through a lot of Knott's Scary Farm traffic just to get in the parking lot though. Even though we had a reservation, we still ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes past that time, but we could see that there were open tables available. I figured since it is wide open inside, it'd be pretty loud, but it really wasn't bad. We could still hold a conversation and hear each other well, even though there were music videos playing and lots of people around us. Our servers were really attentive. Our main server had to take a break and was really transparent about handing us off to someone else. We ordered a Bloody Mary (spicy!! but safe), and a strawberry basil margarita (decent). For our meals we got the Bill Graham BBQ Chicken Pizza, which was excellent. It had lots of flavor, the perfect amount of cheese, and wasn't greasy or soggy at all. I'd be hard-pressed to order something different if we ever visit a R&B again! We also got the Blackened Chicken Pasta, which was very good too - just the right amount of spice, good flavors, and the chicken was perfect. Overall, we had a really good experience at Rock & Brews, and would come back if we're ever visiting the area again.“

“I originally bookmarked the Rosemary Room for brunch, but we ended up coming for dinner instead. We ordered the beef sliders, truffle Parmesan fries, and I had the hibiscus margarita. Everything was really good. The food was solid, and the pricing felt fair for today’s world—not cheap, but not outrageous either.

Honestly, since it’s inside a hotel, my expectations weren’t sky-high, but the food pleasantly surprised me. I’d definitely come back, especially to try their brunch.

The reason it’s four stars instead of five comes down to the atmosphere and staffing.

The restaurant sits right in the hotel lobby with no walls, so you hear everything—hotel guests coming and going, music playing in the lobby, the TV from the bar, and general foot traffic. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxed dinner, this might feel a little overstimulating.

Also, our waiter (who was great, by the way) seemed to be doing the job of about three people. He was taking orders, bringing drinks and food, running payments, and even delivering room service. The poor guy was working like he owed the hotel money. On a Friday night, they could definitely use more staff.

That said, the food was good, the service was kind, and I’d still come back—next time probably for brunch.“

What was left after my 9 year old and Wife saved was amazing. The ice cream was smooth and delicious, but he funnel cake itself was still crispy and delicious. The boysenberry on top was so freaking good.

This is a must try when to get the Knott’s.“

“This was really a great experience. The burgers were thicker than any typical theme park burger. The burger was prepared perfectly, with care. This was not another one of many burgers slapped on a grill an cooked en masse. The chicken sandwich was also very taste and prepared just right. This meal was a real treat. The gentleman taking our order was very cheerful and engaged. We spoke briefly with the chef while he was wrapping up our order. He was engaging and fun also. After our delicious meal I walked back up to tell them how pleased we were! A great spot!“

We hadn’t been to Sizzler in years, but this was the location we used to visit all the time, so I was excited to come back—and they did NOT disappoint!

We ordered the largest steak with a baked potato, broccoli, and cheese bread.We also ordered the ribs. I had a few special requests for the steak and broccoli to be cooked nice and tender, and they followed every request perfectly! Steak was absolutely HEAVENLY—tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how we wanted it. The broccoli was perfect too! Ribs were very delicious as well. Compliments to the chef!!

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and even though the restaurant was pretty packed when I picked up our food, everything was fresh, hot, and prepared correctly.

The cheese bread wasn't our favorite, but I think it would probably be much better fresh in the restaurant rather than after a drive home.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and an excellent meal. So glad we gave Sizzler another try! We will be back in the future.“

“Its kinda like school lunch,you pick a tray and say what you want. Since knotts menus change during the season right now they have here available pizza,hamburgers, chicken strips and sides are Mac n cheese,fries,bread sticks,salad. The kids likes the pizza,which come with either w bread sticks or salad. I had a cheese burger,they have a topping bar for whatever you like. It was a Thursday so it wasn't crowded in there. It was 12ish at the time we went. Plenty of tables available too. The burger is not super delicious but it will fill you up,and tje toppings help to make it a little better.“

Last night, I had the pleasure of enjoying an IPA at Calico Saloon while being serenaded by the Summer Nights band. The evening was a delightful blend of refreshing drinks and lively music.

Calico Saloon provided the perfect rustic backdrop, with its old-timey charm and welcoming atmosphere. The warm summer night and the live music created an ambiance that was both relaxing and exhilarating.

**The Beer:**
The IPA I ordered was a highlight of the evening. From the first sip, it was clear that this brew was crafted with care. It had a rich, golden hue and a robust aroma of citrus and pine. The flavor profile was well-balanced, featuring a harmonious blend of hoppy bitterness and subtle malt sweetness. The crisp finish left me eager for the next sip, making it a perfect choice for a warm summer night.

Sipping on this IPA while enjoying the energetic performance of the Summer Nights band was an experience to remember. The band's vibrant tunes complemented the beer perfectly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. “My son and I dined here for breakfast. We both had the American breakfast, eggs, bacon and toast. The eggs were good, mine over easy and my son liked his scrambled. The toast was good as were the potatoes. The OJ was also good. We enjoyed it so much we both had the same breakfast the second day.“

Not sure what that meant because when we were finally sat our server had obviously been there seen she already had tables she was serving. Took a little bit to order and then for our food to come out. Given we did have a party of 10 but I don't know why it took so long since we just ordered fried chicken and a table of 6 that was sat after us ordered and got their food before us. The food was still delicious and would still want to come back to get again just hopefully we have better service.“

All of the food was good but some of us ordered the Thanksgiving Pasties and they were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend Ghost Town Grill over any of the faster places at Knotts. Ony request for Knotts- bring back the Boysenberry Gin & Tonics! They were FABULOUS and we were so disappointed you took them off the menu!“
