“Craving some good and authentic Korean food, I found my way back to Jin Cook and as usual, it did not let me down.ITEM'S ORDERED:Sweet Potato Cheese Curry KatsuSpicy Braised Beef Short RibGarlic SuYukMilitary SoupTASTE:Let me first mention that I'm half Korean to add some credibility to my review :) ;) I will say that the Kimchi here is probably my favorite out of all places. That is mainly because it has a slightly sweeter flavor and less sour than others that usually have that more pickled flavor. I was told that it's the owner's mothers recipe so that just makes it all the better.The Spicy Braised Beef Short Rib aka Galbi-jjim is a dish I've had before and is one of those flavors that just wants to make you keep on eating. The only thing that slows you down is how hot it is with it being in the stone pot. It's so savory, a little sweet and has a slight amount of heat. I will say that I do have a good tolerance for spicy food though. Besides the meat which is so tender, I really enjoy the pumpkin and rice cakes in the dish. Unless you are with 3 or more people, you'll most likely have leftovers.Sweet Potato Cheese Curry Katsu is a unique variation that I don't think I've seen at other places. There's a subtly sweetness that goes well with the cheese, pork, and crunch. Be careful when you take your first bite, it comes out and stays very hot.The Military Soup is one of those really comforting soups that'll make you feel good if you're under the weather. It's actually pretty spicy so be warned. The pork belly that came had a real nice flavor that adds to the dish overall.It was my first time having the Garlic SuYuk and it's as tasty as it is to look at. The pork is cooked perfectly and the garlic paste that it comes with has so much savory flavor, with the right amount of salt. I could really see this garlic paste tasting good on so many other dishes in general. The chili paste is not really hot but provides a slight chili flavor adding to everything else.SERVICE:The service was exceptional. Getting all the warm Korean welcoming vibes at this place just adds to the comfort food feel. They were really friendly and attentive the whole time.LOCATION & PARKING:They are basically located in a shopping plaza with an Albertson's so there is lots of parking. The interior is very comfy and warm with its abundant wood use making for a welcoming ambiance.If you are craving some delicious Korean cuisine you should definitely check this place out.”

“I’m not sure I can stress this enough…. This is one of my favorite places to eat. If I have a bunch of options and this pops up, this is the one I choose. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who would listen. Italian beef sandwich, wet and hot. Cannot go wrong.”

“If you like ramen, this place is fantastic with red and white miso broth options. The spicy tao paste is over the top spicy so be careful. The service is traditionally awesome. The atmosphere is also traditional Japanese decor with matching music. However, the outdoor seating is a couple of folding tables pushed up against the window 3 feet from the parking lot.”

“I think overall it went over my expectations. Definitely getting your money's worth of experience. Most of the side dishes you get your own which is great if there are specific types of side dishes you get a lot with kbbq, and options are really great. Each of the meat orders comes smaller compared to what you usually get in all you can eat kbbq, which I see as a good thing as you can control more portions and less food waste. The food quality is what you'd expect, it's not gonna blow your mind but still really good for the price you are paying. Only complaint is that I wish there was more seating provided for wait, we went on Sunday 5pm for two people and waited in car for an hour.”

“Great show. However the chicken was very very dry and hard. The sound person made a mistake and the mic got too close and set off a screeching sound for about 3 minutes strong. Other than that it was great.”

“A popular coffee shop often busy with customers. Have outside patio tables and chairs facing Beach Blvd. Maybe hard to find parking nearby when other stores will open later as it is being remodelled. Coffee tastes fresh and sour and mild coffee.”

“I fkn love this place! We have been coming to The Cauldron since 2019 and every year it's like the first. Everything about this spot is magical and intriguing. The drink are mouth watering and the food is delicious. We fall in love with this place and each other all over again every year.”

“(Disclaimer, i do not know the difference between "authentic" korean food and "fast food" korean food) i've been going back and forth about this review whether or not this was a 4 or 5 star review. I went ahead with 5 stars because ultimately the flavor prevailed. i want you to imagine Panda Express or Chipotle but KBBQ. My suggestion is to actually have customers walk the line vs order at a kiosk and then wait for your number. Ultimately I feel like the wait will be similar and it's visually appealing to the customer knowing the last piece is just to pay and you'll enjoy your food. Prices were reasonable however you get more veggies vs. meat. The favor is ultimately top tier. I prefer my bulgogi to be with a slight char but this was authentic (i think) The banchan (not pictured) was fresh and so good! The spicy cucumber and fish cakes are my favorite! I can eat those with white rice and be done! This place needs all the flowers because it is unique in its own way and very good. Peeked in the back of house and saw what looked like quality ingredients. (based on videos i've seen on social media about korean cooking lol)”

“Went in for early Easter breakfast, very cute local spot. The food was delicious and the price was very affordable. I ordered the breakfast burrito was very yummy. The service was very quick and the servers checked up us on a lot. They kept asking us if we needed anything or if we needed coffee / water refills.”

“the korean food here was amazing all three items were delicious! one of the best boneless korean fried chicken ive had! the chicken was so juicy and flavorful and amazing with the rose sauce. breading is a little much but besides that chicken was good. not pictured was the kimchi fried rice but that was perfect too! it was busy since it was a late saturday night but we ended up getting seated outside and it was so fun! music and service was amazing and chris and dana were so nice! it was our first time but me and my friends will definitely be back! the photo booth was a great addition!”

“Fun for kids because of games and prizes, I had a salad bar which was really fresh and good we split the Mojo Potatoes which I love. My bf got the chicken and he liked it. Many beers to choose from. “Walked in on a Saturday night - it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. We ordered the Choose 3 Combination (M), Kimchi Cold Noodle, and Beef Tartare. Service was fast and the staff were great! The Kimchi Cold Noodle was super refreshing and cuts the fattiness of the intestine. The beef tartare was also very fresh and a generous portion. There were only 2 of us so we had a lot of leftovers to take home haha. A solid gobchang spot!”

“I love the fruit Belgian waffle here but it's always so crowded that there's no place to sit and they used to give your cappuccino in a mug with nice pictures in the foam. This time it was in a paper cup”

“Was a little confusing at first when walking in, they had a menu you can look at as soon as you walk in and the confusing part is there is a kiosk for order strictly to charge either credit or debit cards if you want to pay cash you have to wait for someone to attend the register. You can choose from different types of Ramen or udon noodles or a platter with rice or a bowl of rice with whatever toppings. It's on the pricey side but the food is pretty good in flavor. Restaurant is kept clean and even has a dine in patio.”

“Tried this place and liked. Wings are larger than WingStops so that is great. I think you get a fair deal for your money. As one who has worked in the industry and knows sometimes things happen beyond your control. I liked that they owned up to mistakes made and tried to correct (posted complaints). I have had issues with places and they don't own up and ignore complaints. I understand that some complaints are competitors and or bogus but at least try to seem like you care. They seem to care. Again, I recommend over other local wing places in the area.”

“Beautifully decorated Japanese restaurant that offers mouthwatering dishes such as omakase and yakitori. The presentation of their food is really lovely and I'm glad to say that the food tasted as good as it looks. I really love their Mentaiko Pasta, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was so flavorful. And I love the assorted Yakitori we ordered, I got to try a variety of meats and is perfect for sharing. Definitely one of the best spots inside The Source, I highly recommend if you're around the area for a fun and delightful dining experience!”

“Haiku: Thai Addict Cuisine Bold, spicy flavors I come for the lunch specials Affordable meals. --- I love Thai food and lunch specials (Mon-Fri, 11a-3p), so I naturally gravitated to this restaurant. Lunch special items start at $12.95 (depending on what protein you choose) and come with salad and egg roll. I ordered the Pumpkin Curry and it was a generous portion. I liked how soft and creamy the pumpkin was and the crunch from the bell peppers. I felt the curry was on the sweet side, maybe a bit too sweet. I also ordered the Pad Thai and that was too sweet as well. Just note the dishes are made Medium Spicy, but you can adjust the spice level. I ordered a mild and it was the perfect amount of heat. Service was okay. They were nice, but not as attentive. It was getting busy in the restaurant and we had to flag someone down to take our order, grab to-go boxes, and get our bill. The restaurant is located in a strip mall. The inside has a nice, modern aesthetic and is a good place for large groups. I would come back again though and try their other lunch special menu items. Hopefully their other dishes aren't too sweet.”

“What a gem hidden inside of a corner liquor store!Popped into here for lunch with my dad (a syrian man, born and immigrated, so he knows his arabic food).I had the chicken shish tawook plate, he had the falafel "tacos"Both items were excellent. The value was high, the service was friendly... and if I didn't mention it the food was great.Ambiance was kind of funny being in a liquor store to order, but i've had great food in all kinds of gas stations.. so why not?”

They were accomodating with sweetness level, as I am not too big on sweets--although I found 25% sweetness to still be too sweet for me. This location is more spacious than the one in Westminster. They also have a nice outdoor seating section with heatlamps but it was super windy the evening I went.”

I suggest they consider reducing the variety of side dishes and increasing the portion of fish on the plate. Additionally, they should offer customers the option to choose a menu with or without side dishes, as many patrons may prefer a simpler meal focused on the fish.”

“I love sushi & pasta. Ki sushi had mouthwatering options for both. My brother and I came here for a late lunch and ordered the mentaiko pasta, ki house roll, and sakedon. The service was very friendly. The food came out relatively quickly (~10-15min). The place is a bit darker than what I'd prefer but it was alright! Mentaiko pasta was a 10/10!! It's not the creamiest pasta or too strong on mentaiko! very clammy but super tasty! The ki house roll was SO GOOD. also 10/10. I loved the taste, crunch, and avacado + spicy tuna. Awesome combo. The sakedon was also really fresh. It had a bit too much other stuff in the bowl and less salmon than I expected but it was still good quality!”

“I stopped by this place during lunch hour, I was recommended th Gamja Tang Lunch special by the waitress how seem to primarily speak Korean (good sign the food is legit).The plate was huge and it came in with plenty of little side dishes, as you can see on the picture.Price was super affordable for all the food I was served.This is the first time I've tried this specific plate, but based on pure taste buds, the food was great and I would love to come back to try the rest of the menu.”

“Finally made it here!! My husband and I went here for date night recently and we ordered the two kinds of meat, the creamy udon, and the cheese tonkatsu. We happen to come on a Friday night a little after they open and luckily it wasn't busy just yet. The service was really fast and the quality of the meat was amazing! The cheese tonkatsu was a bit heavier so by the time we finished grilling our meats and eating some of the udon, we were too full to finish the cheese tonkatsu. The creamy udon is a beef curry udon with a topped layer of this special cream that has this grainy texture similar to mashed potatoes. It was good to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I'll probably try the other noodles that they offer. I really enjoyed the concept of grilling the meat in front of you to your liking. It comes as a set so it was a perfect meal. Will be back with some friends!”

“It was our first time here and I have to say THE BROTH WAS SO SAVORY. We got the pho tai with the Mor special for an extra $4 which was a very good deal. They only have thin pho noodle here but the noodle was perfectly done. One of the thing about this place is that the portion was super huge compare to other pho places in OC. Service was great and fast during their rush hours. The restaurant has a very artsy and hipster vibe. We would definitely come back again when we are in the area for Knotts berry farm.”

It was good but I was not used to some of the flavors. The restaurant was very clean and decor was beautiful. Service was excellent though my friend did all the talking in Korean. “Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is like a noodle symphony for your taste buds! The broth is so rich, it's practically doing a backstroke in flavor town. The noodles are like the Michael Phelps of the ramen world – perfectly slurpable and champion-worthy. The only problem? I need them to start offering a loyalty program because I've officially become a ramen-a-holic. I might need an intervention, or just another bowl of their amazing ramen. “I go to this place about 3 times a week lately. Oddly I’m a vegetarian, but they do have a meal for me, but I have to build it myself.most of the time it’s 100% right . I don’t eat scrambled eggs so they always have boiled for me. It’s like the only place in the city that does this for me. Sometimes it’s different but still great food. I’m always full when I leave . However I do have a request but everything is fine as it is . I’d like to request for Paul’s Place to put my vegetarian breakfast on the menu thank you so much in advance if you do appreciate the good cooking if you don’t.Vegetarian options: The food is really good honestly, anything you order without meat is going to be good. I’d even say the burgers substitute with onion zucchini instead of meat.”

It's pretty crowded in here most of the time unless you go as soon as they open. Wait times for food and drink isn't too bad but if you go on the weekends or on weekdays near lunch time it may take a while to find an open seat.”

“We made a reservation for 7pm on a Friday night. Had to wait through a lot of Knott's Scary Farm traffic just to get in the parking lot though. Even though we had a reservation, we still ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes past that time, but we could see that there were open tables available. I figured since it is wide open inside, it'd be pretty loud, but it really wasn't bad. We could still hold a conversation and hear each other well, even though there were music videos playing and lots of people around us. Our servers were really attentive. Our main server had to take a break and was really transparent about handing us off to someone else. We ordered a Bloody Mary (spicy!! but safe), and a strawberry basil margarita (decent). For our meals we got the Bill Graham BBQ Chicken Pizza, which was excellent. It had lots of flavor, the perfect amount of cheese, and wasn't greasy or soggy at all. I'd be hard-pressed to order something different if we ever visit a R&B again! We also got the Blackened Chicken Pasta, which was very good too - just the right amount of spice, good flavors, and the chicken was perfect. Overall, we had a really good experience at Rock & Brews, and would come back if we're ever visiting the area again.”

In Korea, there's a saying that the quality of Kimchi determines the overall quality of the food, and I've always enjoyed the consistently delicious taste of Kimchi prepared by Jang Mo Jib. On this visit, I opted for the ox knee and tendon soup (도가니탕) for health reasons, while my sister ordered the chicken noodle soup (닭칼국수) along with a dumpling plate (만두 접시). The portion of the chicken noodle soup was incredibly generous, and we couldn't finish it all, so we had leftovers to enjoy later. The meal was satisfyingly filling.”

The only thing that slows you down is how hot it is with it being in the stone pot. It's so savory, a little sweet and has a slight amount of heat. I will say that I do have a good tolerance for spicy food though. Besides the meat which is so tender, I really enjoy the pumpkin and rice cakes in the dish. Unless you are with 3 or more people, you'll most likely have leftovers.Sweet Potato Cheese Curry Katsu is a unique variation that I don't think I've seen at other places. There's a subtly sweetness that goes well with the cheese, pork, and crunch. Be careful when you take your first bite, it comes out and stays very hot.The Military Soup is one of those really comforting soups that'll make you feel good if you're under the weather. It's actually pretty spicy so be warned. The pork belly that came had a real nice flavor that adds to the dish overall.It was my first time having the Garlic SuYuk and it's as tasty as it is to look at. The pork is cooked perfectly and the garlic paste that it comes with has so much savory flavor, with the right amount of salt. I could really see this garlic paste tasting good on so many other dishes in general. The chili paste is not really hot but provides a slight chili flavor adding to everything else.SERVICE:The service was exceptional. Getting all the warm Korean welcoming vibes at this place just adds to the comfort food feel. They were really friendly and attentive the whole time.LOCATION & PARKING:They are basically located in a shopping plaza with an Albertson's so there is lots of parking.
