“The meat quality is good, the place is clean and modern. The only downside is that they don’t have steam egg option but not a deal breaker.”
“This place is 100x better than the hokey pirate dinner theatre down the street. Food was good atmosphere was a blast. Found out that my coworker was allergic to horses, so I guess avoid if you suffer from that also... Would recommend!”
“The owner, whom I have known for a long time, said that she opened a restaurant in Buena Park, but since the opening time is 5 PM, it was difficult to find the time to visit, so I couldn’t visit.
However, she recently changed the opening time and opened for lunch, so I visited last week.
I had Rosé Tteokbokki, So-tteok So-tteok, and Sweet Potato Fries, and the food was all good.
One thing I wish could be improved is the decoration and interior. The concept of this place is to approach young customers with a comfortable atmosphere, but the scribbles covering the tables and walls didn‘t look very good.

“It's a simple but very satisfying restaurant! As the name suggests, the main dish is a combination of rice and soup, and the gentle seasoning that brings out the flavors of the ingredients is appealing. We especially recommend the soup rice, which has plenty of ingredients and is perfectly balanced and nutritious. It's filling, but not heavy, and it leaves you feeling warm and warm even after you've finished eating. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a calm atmosphere, so it's perfect for when you want to have a quick meal by yourself. This is a restaurant that can be recommended for those who are health conscious! Please try it!”

“We’re from Arizona and came out to Biola University for our church’s summer camp. One morning, we stopped by Porto’s Bakery for breakfast—and wow! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The smell of fresh coffee, the stunning display of pastries and desserts… I was in heaven.
I ordered the ham and cheese croissant sandwich at one counter, then headed over to the coffee area. While there, I couldn’t resist and ordered one of each cookie in the case to take with me. After ringing me up, the cashier let me know the oatmeal cookies were just coming out of the oven. I told the young man, Joe, that I’d come back in a few minutes.
When I returned, Joe remembered me right away and had the cookies ready. His friendly attitude and great customer service made the experience even better.
This place is an absolute gem. We’ll be coming back every time we come to camp!

“Atoyubu is a cool fusion restaurant specializing in these cute tofu pockets of rice and choice of topping. I got the fresh salmon, bulgogi, butter crab, and spicy tuna (this was so spicy omg). Definitely not an on the go kinda meal because sauce gets everywhere and it’s best eaten right away because it can get soggy real quick!
Prices are fair at $4-5 each. The line can get pretty long but food is out within minutes. Parking also sucks as it is really small.”
“Amazing customer service and great coffee! First time here and will definitely come back. It is also a nice place to come chill and do some work! Shout out to my new barista, Connor, for making this experience a great one ! I got the peanut butter frappe per his recommendation and it was delicious.”

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!”
“First, let me say that I don’t usually write reviews. I will add that I travel a lot and try to get sushi as my dinner whenever I am on the road so I’ve patronized a lot of sushi restaurants, mostly in the US and Canada. Roll and Teriyaki is one of those places that compelled me to write a review. I had the miso soup, the 12 piece sashimi dish, the rainbow roll, and the caterpillar roll. The miso soup was good. The sashimi was very good. The rainbow roll was fantastic. And, the caterpillar roll was so unbelievably good that I almost didn’t want to swallow. All that at a more than super reasonable price. Thank you R&T.”
“My first time and very satisfied. I ordered pork soup with rice and it is soooooo good!”

“How do I start? Oh yeah, friendly staff, efficient service, clean venue and de-lish everything! That about sums it all up... No frills! Just great tasting grub if you're into that sort of thing. Wifey loves the array of deliciousness available but almost always orders waffles! Keep the coffee coming!!!”
“Soooo delicious!! Ordered to-go & took us a little over 20mins to get home & surprisingly my Shaved Iced dessert was still frozen! Very satisfied with how everything tasted. I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. The Pistachio Macarons & Milk Tea was delicious. Definitely recommend. (Didn’t get to try Jesse’s Breakfast)”
“Tang in Buena Park is a gem for delicious Korean comfort food. Their soups and stews arrive piping hot with rich and authentic flavors. The portions are generous, and every dish feels like home-cooked (just a little more intense flavor). The signature soups are very good. They also wrap the large mandu in house and give very generous filling. Server can speak Korean, English and Chinese!”
“I come here a lot. I always get their baked dynamite mussels, it is like crack me. Come here if you want actually good rolls. The vibe is nice and the service is good. Highly recommend.”
“We are traveling on our honeymoon and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The guy who served us is extremely kind and nice. He responded courteously to all our doubts or questions. The food is spectacular, the kobe meat is excellent and the miso soup very tasty. The soy sauce is in a very good variant that goes perfectly with rice and meat. We really enjoyed this fusion cuisine. Highly recommended!”

“One of my favorite local Thai cuisine restaurants in Buena Park. I've dined in and ordered take-out with no stress. You can call or order takeout through their website or Yelp for pick-up. The interior vibe is modern, with ample seating; however, there is no outdoor or patio seating.
The menu has many delicious items, affordable prices, and lunch deals! You'll find many popular Thai entrées, appetizers, rice and noodle dishes, curry dishes, soups, drinks, and more on the menu! I haven't received any disappointing dish here that I've tried.
My recent favorite items:
- the lunch specials
- the curry dishes
- appetizers: steamed or fried dumplings, satay sticks, hot wings, calamari
- Thai and house fried rice
- mango sticky rice
- crying tiger salad
- pad see ew and drunken noodles
Service overall has been friendly and attentive. Lunchtime tends to be pretty busy, so be patient. If you're in the area and in the mood for Thai food, give Thai Addict Cuisine a try. Remember the lunch specials menu! I'll be back!”
“I stopped by this place during lunch hour, I was recommended th Gamja Tang Lunch special by the waitress how seem to primarily speak Korean (good sign the food is legit). The plate was huge and it came in with plenty of little side dishes, as you can see on the picture.Price was super affordable for all the food I was served. This is the first time I've tried this specific plate, but based on pure taste buds, the food was great and I would love to come back to try the rest of the menu.”
“Whenever I'm around and craving some gamjatang, Gamjagol is my go-to. Their gamjatang is loaded with tender, fall-off-the-bone meat, potatoes, and veggies. Always hits the spot!”
“This place is a hidden gem! Amazing food, top-notch service, and plenty of parking—what more could you ask for? Every dollar spent here feels worth it. Highly recommend!”
“My family & I love this place! The food is delicious & they have kim chi fried rice & other items some place don’t offer. The staff is also super nice & you get free delicious ice cream! We’ve eaten at other places & it doesn’t come close to here . The price is so good in comparison too!”

“The food was okay. There seemed to be more sauce on the burritos than beans! It took entirely too long to place our our order, once we received our food, we had to ask for the receipt, at which time the gal said it didn't print that we would have to park and come talk to the manager. 🤔 seriously, just give my receipt or print me a copy!”
“This restaurant reminded me of Seattle's "The Pike Place Fish Market," where fresh fish has been sold for decades as employees playfully throw fish around. Though this place has been open for 10 years, we were unaware of its existence. Situated in a humble shopping center with a modest square footage, you would never imagine the quality of service and Korean food it offers. When we checked in, the restaurant was nearly full, and the busyness and energy of the staff expressed their confidence and pride in their reputation.
We were first served water, and the waitstaff's recommendations already impressed us with the promise of quality and taste. We ordered Braised Black Cod, and SsamJjang Vegetables wrap combination with Spicy Marinated Pork, and Bean Casserole for the three of us to share. The fresh lettuce and vegetables, including green pepper, cucumber, carrots, wild sesame leaves, and steamed cabbage, arrived first. We also had a choice between white rice and mixed grain rice, opting for the healthier option.
The presentation and quantity of the food and side dishes were attractive and impressive. When the Spicy Pork arrived, we could already tell it would taste great. The Bean Casserole was also delicious. The awaited Braised Black Cod, which they were very proud of, came last. We didn’t have to wait long to encounter one of the restaurant's most popular dishes. The combination of quantity, quality, and taste was outstanding, although it was a little too sweet for one of us. The Black Cod melted in our mouths, and the tofu and radish were incredibly flavorful. We called this kind of food 밥도둑 (Thief of Rice) because it kept making us eat more rice. We were very full and ended up taking the leftovers home. The service was excellent.
There might be many people who have never visited this restaurant, but there are likely few who have only been here once. We plan to come back to try other menu items next time. Strongly recommended.
Parking: The restaurant parking at the back could be challenging when restaurant is full.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Everything I have had at Seesaw has been delicious. The Hazelnut Einspanner was fabulous.
I am so thankful that the founders of Seesaw have created a well rounded training and employment opportunity for developmentally delayed people. Everyone on staff takes such pride in their work.
This business is doing a great job of putting a dent in the ~85% unemployment rate for developmentally delayed people in our area and promoting true inclusion in our community.”
“Although the food menu is not extensive, the restaurant is famous for its delicious food. Korean hangover soup is probably the best in the OC area. It may be a very simple food, but it has a rich taste and a good feel. In Korea, having soup and a glass of soju with friends is a small culture.”

“These corn dogs were delicious! I was visiting the area and stumbled across this place. The corn dogs were so good; I went two days in a row and purchased 2 corn dogs each time. The dipping sauces are great. The texture and coating are just right; not too much and not too little. I only wish there was one in VA.”
“Very friendly staff. All the dishes we tried were very yummy. For to go, they use separate containers for each item, which is a plus, imo. Our favorites are the lechon kawali (deep fried pork with crunchy skin) and pancit. They have two kinds of pancit (pan fried noodles), both are equally delicious. Generous servings and affordable prices.”
“(Translated by Google) It is coffee that the boss, who is a coffee taster, carefully selects green beans from each production region, and delivers them with love and maturity with freshly roasted beans. “It was 9:30 pm and we were looking for a place with soup that was still open, and Hiro Ramen fit the bill just fine for quick fast food ramen and udon.
My wife got the udon with tempura and I got the shoyu ramen with pork slices, bamboo shoots, seaweed, and egg. The prices seemed a little high on the menu but the portions seemed fair for the price and I paid two dollars more for the large portion.
The dining area was roomy. Ordering from a machine is not something I'm used to yet but the lady behind the counter walked us through our order and choosing what we wanted was not a pain.
Of course this is not a high end gourmet place but I have no problem giving it 5 stars on a quick noodle shop scale.”
“Ordered a seafood pancake to go. Was delicious with the dipping sauce. Their pancake is thicker than what I usually get from korean bbq spots but was still good. They also gave me their sides (banchan) for free even though they don’t usually do for that dish. The staff are a bunch of sweet Korean ladies, love the energy!”
“Gob Chang is a hidden Korean restaurant gem in a small Buena Park plaza. With spacious parking (though it can get crowded, street parking might be necessary), this cozy pocha-style spot serves quality meat with fast service. The owner takes pride in their meat quality, delivering an authentic dining experience. This place is my #1 Gop Chang place!!! Great for Gop Chang lovers, though it closes early for soju drinkers :(”

“This is a great place to go out and eat! I've been coming here for a while. I also really like the variety of foods and sushi they have here. I really like the chicken teriyaki bento and the avocado rolls and hand rolls. And I think the spicy ramen is the best here! You should definitely come visit here!”
“We ordered the small mixed combo which was just the perfect amount for our family of 4 because we also ordered the lunch box, steamed egg, and cold noodles. The meats were all high quality, and my favorite part is that they cook it for you at the table. It never tastes as good when we do it ourselves.”
“It's been a long time since I ate at the restaurant. It's the best tonkatsu restaurant in the OC area. The price is reasonable, the combo meal composition is very good, and the quality of the food is also very satisfactory.
The thickness of the pork cutlet and the taste/dish of frying were all done very well.
I also praise the staff's quick and accurate service. All my colleagues who went with me praised the food.
I'm ready to open my wallet at any time”
“It's good value for money and the owners are very friendly.
However, the amount of chicken and radish was too small and the seasoned chicken seasoning was not mixed well.”

“This location had the softest buns for their sandwiches! The others near my home must order from a different bakery or something. Wife and I were extremely happy with both the taste and customer service from this location in Buena Park. Oh! And they had potato cakes!!! Limited time only ? I was happy ?”
“Well, I realized that between one Olive Garden and another, the good taste of the food depends on the cook.
I ordered the same thing I had ordered at another Olive Garden and it did not have the good flavor I had experienced at the previous Restaurant.”
“No wait on a Thursday night for 4 people. We ordered the medium sashimi platter that came with a ton of sides, tuna sashimi and uni pasta. Everything was delicious and the variety made us feel like we were at a buffet. The staff is so friendly and sweet here.”

“Been wanting to try these Korean sandwiches, it looks amazing in those photos. However, after I tried these, they were good, but nothing really stood out, it was just okay, 2 big thick fluffy slices of bread with the ingredients in between. They did put lots of spicy mayo and butter, very Korean style. My boys do loves their eggs, very tasty, according to them.”
“Thomas, Cody and staff were excellent! Had a great dinner, great service.”
