“Place is ok, there are so many better places though! I would eat here if I didn’t want to go out too far. Black garlic ramen was seriously lacking flavor but the udon was good. Sushi was standard and the hoedeopbap was tasty, just didn’t have much fish. Maybe I’ve been spoiled but service was poor. Girl was trying to talk to me across a loud room and ordering was slow. It was only her working this particular evening so it might have been overwhelming. We were told at 9:10 that they closed at 9:15 (nicely told us to gtfo), but we were confused because google says they close at 9:30. Didn’t matter too much because we were about done anyways. Despite the negatives, definitely give it a try, palettes are always different. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t come here again, could’ve been a one-off night and I always like to give establishments another shot.“
“The food here is always incredible and has to be my favorite Ramen spot by far. I always get the chashu ramen in mild with an egg. So bomb I swear I am salivating at the mouth just thinking about it. My favorite ramen. Always drink the broth, that's the best part!! It's so packed with flavor. I can't get enough and even when you take it home to reheat it, it tastes just as flavorful. You get bomb ramen for a great price. The ambience is chill and relaxing. I love the amount of outdoor lighting it gets. I also love the barstool setup it feels so chill. The service is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful, not like some cold restaurants where you feel unwelcome.“
“Was a little confusing at first when walking in, they had a menu you can look at as soon as you walk in and the confusing part is there is a kiosk for order strictly to charge either credit or debit cards if you want to pay cash you have to wait for someone to attend the register. You can choose from different types of Ramen or udon noodles or a platter with rice or a bowl of rice with whatever toppings. It's on the pricey side but the food is pretty good in flavor. Restaurant is kept clean and even has a dine in patio.“

“I've never had mazemen before and I would 100% have it again. I had the cheese mazemen and honestly, I felt like that food critic from Ratatouille. I was felt at home from the first bite and by the end of the second one, I was in bliss. I felt like I was transported back to another ramen place I've visited a few years ago where they made the ramen fresh. I wanted the full experience, so I took an allergy pill beforehand so I could try the mazemen and it was worth it. I would totally suffer palpitations again!“

My husband got the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen combo with the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice as well. Both ramen were great! Deeply savory broths and the chasu pork was so tender and flavorful! They also put a generous amount of spicy tuna on the crispy rice, which was a tasty appetizer. This is a perfect dinner on a chilly evening. The salmon was the only thing that was probably slightly off, it wasn't bad at all but not on par with other places and that is the reason they don't get 5 stars. I liked mine because of the creamy broth and high quality toppings and my partner liked his because of the smoky/spicy flavor of the broth. Everything was made to order. “This is THE Ramen restaurant for my son and me. When friends want Ramen, this is where I tell them to go. The noodles are a superb texture. My son liked the original gyu-tonkotsu. I tried the chashu tsukemen and that is now my favorite. The broth was so scrumptious that I wanted to dip myself in it. The son finished the meal with a melon soda float. We were stuffed!!! “Yesterday was Good Friday. My family and I had originally planned to go have dinner at Grab Crab, but the wait was outrageously long. I believe that when I checked in, we had 18 people ahead of us. So, instead, we decided to go Sosom Ramen Bar & Bossam. Luckily, when we got here, it was nice and empty. We got seated right away, and the order was taken really quickly. This was our second time coming to this place. The first time we came, I dont remember much, but we decided to come back anyway. This round was much rememberable. The waiter was on top of everything, making sure we had refills on our water and gave us extra sides. He checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else. Honestly, the food was just perfect. Like 10 min into our dinner, the restaurant started to fill up. The vibe with the customer everyone enjoyed their food. If you want to try Bossam, this is going to place. I don't think they will let you down. Meat is super tender, and the sauce is yummy. Just writing this makes my mouth water.“

Second reason 4 not 5 is that I've been to the Santa Monica location and the food / ambience was better, not way better but still better. “Came here for the Naruto collaboration. Sadly they ran out of some of the merch but I was still able to enjoy a delicious bowl of ramen. Got the dinner combo which was choosing a type of ramen plus an appetizer. I got the classic with fried gyoza. Ramen was great with a delicious creamy broth and the gyozas were so nice and crispy! Also was a cold rainy day so this definitely hit the spot! Service was amazing! Food came out fast and our waiter constantly checked on us. They were super attentive and made our visit enjoyable.“

“Our first visit here was fantastic. It's rare to find a restaurant serving animal products that also caters directly to plant-based diets. Eating vegan here was a breeze, and without having to stick to just side dishes and salad. They have several plant-based ramens, starters, and more. “Nothing but good things. This is our go to sushi and ramen spot. I have never had a sushi here I didn't like. They have a 50 off menu for sushi and it's such a great deal. My kids and hubby love to get the tampopo ramen set with sushi. It's definitely worth the price and is a good amount of food. My favorite sushi is the Japanese burrito and the handrolls are delicious and good sized. Service here is always good. My water cup never gets low and they are very attentive which is a plus if you every get heavy handed on Wasabi. Definitely recommend this establishment and have referred many of my friends to come and try it out themselves“
“If I'm close enough to LBC I tend to get Chinese here as they have a nearly 50/50 menu offering vegan dupes of classics. They have meal specials which will give you drink, egg roll, and entree, so it's very affordable for a substantial dining experience. Over the years they've added ramen (although I secretly miss the rice burger, which was squished between crispy rice patties instead of buns). My fave is the New Orleans chicken. The vegan items are made to order and can take some time, so be prepared to be patient.“

The atmosphere is also traditional Japanese decor with matching music. However, the outdoor seating is a couple of folding tables pushed up against the window 3 feet from the parking lot.“
