“Had AYCE sushi. Pretty high quality sushi. The fish to rice ratio was very good. The speciality rolls were also very good. AYCE was a little on the pricier side at around $33 but you’re able to order regular menu dishes that were cheaper ($15-$20)“

“I just finished a bulgogi beef bento plate along with California rolls and Jin San spicy ramen. Well I do have some of the California rolls leftover. It was a feast. All quite delicious! Very tasty. This is a take out place with a few small tables. It is a clean place and the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are Reasonable and the Portions are generous enough. The food is fresh and cooked to order. All small businesses are facing the same labor and food products pricing stresses on their bottom line. Please support your local businesses.“

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!“

“My teenagers and I had the Motto Black, the Motto Red, and the Motto Special. All bowls were tasty and delicious. Noodles were fresh and the chaschu melted in your mouth. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I would recommend as a casual and family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back again.“

“Great food when in the mood for udon noodles or Ramen. Every dish tasted amazing and there was a variety of choices to include appetizers. Plenty of seating after pouring in your order at the kiosk. Once you're number is called you pick up your order and add spices, oils, ginger,etc as you want to your dish. When done you bring your trays to a stacked area (kind of full). Plenty of parking up front and the restrooms were clean.“

“Consistent food quality and portions. Clean and the tables have enough space to order multiple things (unlike Yard House). I live near here so I walk and for that reason I know the parking situation is not the restaurants fault. It's very difficult to find parking so I recommend carpooling. The broths have plenty of flavor, the meat is not thin. I recommend for parties up to 4 since the restaurant usually has people dining in. Overall I hope this restaurant survives the economy since it's worth wanting a restaurant experience.“

“First time I ordered from this place. I was looking for ramen, but when I open the website, my eyes got caught by the Mango salad, and that's what I ordered instead. When I got my order it did not disappointed me. Ingredients were so fresh and appealing, the dressing were really good and chicken was tender. It was so delicious. I think I found my new favorite spot. I am looking forward to try more items of the menu.“

“Okay, okay…yes, first ramen experience! I know, I know…I’m not a long noodle guy and def not a slurper, so I’ve always kinda avoided it. Had the chicken broth here, and it was really good. This is for the peeps who have yet to try…do it. Tastes amazing and you won’t regret it. Still not sure how to cut down the large pieces of chicken in the broth with chopsticks, but that’ll be for my second visit.“

“Gomen's ramen is one of our favorite restaurants. There are so many different types of ramen available in this restaurant, compared to the typical tonkotu or shoyu ramen. “Tried this place for the 1st time. At the door, you notice the sign that says Military Discount. Thank you for that. Started with Egg Rolls and Spicy Edamame. Great portions, amazing flavors. Sushi had Salmon and it was very good. The ramen was Pork based ans it had a good kick. Good spicy with so much flavor. I gave the 4 stars because they have TV's and I wanted a basketball game. They couldn't change the channels for whatever reason. Asked for the bill and apply the Military Discount on the bill. The discount only applies to the Things I ate/ordered. I was there with my wife so they gave us 2 checks. It was pretty weird but oh well. But that doesn't change the fact that food was great and I want to try more items on the Menu. Good beer selection too 🍺 🍻 Enjoy!“
