There might be better Izakayas in OC, but this has been my favorite for years. All of their food is decent at worst, amazing at best. I love their yakitori, oden, tempura, sushi, alcohol options, dessert, etc. Can't go wrong as long as you come at a good time. Sucks it's only open for dinner.
The food is good but not outstanding. The service is real good. I wish you could make reservations instead of the walkup check-in because it always has a wait. Pricing is decent and I would definitely recommend. Open late as well is a plus in Fountain Valley.
