“I got spicy ramen (the last one in the list) and it was pretty good. The portions are adequate, I didn’t feel like I was gonna explode, but I felt comfortably full. They have a lot of vegetarian options. The prices are on the higher side though, probably due to its location. Otherwise it’s pretty good.
Vegetarian options: Almost all of their ramen have a vegetarian equivalent, and all the broth is vegetarian.
Parking: There are a lot of parking on either side of the mall.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the first floor and there are no steps. Access would be easy for someone on a wheelchair.“

“Although Kokiyo is a small restaurant; the service, atmosphere, and food is amazing. I ordered a creamy broth ramen and it was the best creamy broth ramen I ever had. Both slices of the pork belly chashu were so tender it practically melts after taking a bite. Rather than taking the unfinished portion to-go, the meal was so spectacular that I had to finish it. Also the pickled radish is a must try.“

“This place is incredible!! The broth is so flavorful and the karaage is hands down the best I've ever had - it melts in your mouth like toro!!! I've eaten at many ramen spots in and out of Japan, and this is the real deal - authentic, delicious, fresh meals cooked with love and skill! Domo arigato gozaimasu!!
Parking: Going just past the restaurant there's a large open parking lot.“

“Situated in an industrial-looking area, this restaurant is such a pleasant surprise. It’s clean and spacious without being too big and noisy. Lots of bigger tables but also 2-tops if you want to dine alone.
I got the spicy miso and it was umami, spicy, and the broth was amazingly dense and flavorful. It comes with a full egg. Definitely recommend.
The servers were attentive and quick and the manager was all-hands-in as well. It seems as if they’ve recently opened, or perhaps got new waitstaff, as the manager (most likely owner based on his effective attitude) was lightly training them when they had free moments. Based on the interactions between management and staff, I’d bet money this place is going to thrive. They have the teamwork and leadership that makes a restaurant go from good to great.
I’ll be back, I’ll bring friends, and I’ll be sharing this epic find with others. If you’re considering eating here, do it. Totally worth it.“

“I came early around 5:15pm for a weekend dinner. There is more parking than i expected behind the building. The waiters were attentive in refilling my water and checked in to see if i was doing ok. Otherwise, the food (vegan mazemen) was filling and they provide some rice to top off with the sauce. I would definitely come here again.“

“giving a 5 star to cancel out the last guys 1 star review. man was upset about his big party not being served 15 MINUTES before close… insanity. anyway i went for the first time today (at a REASONABLE time within their business hours mind you) and it was a lovely experience. service was quick and professional, the place itself was very clean, and our food was delicious, well-priced and very generously portioned. employees are super efficient and work together like a well-oiled machine. keep up the good work guys and don’t hesitate to boot people out the door if they try to loiter around closing! if they want to be served at closing so bad then they can pay the whole staff the hourly wage + overtime that it costs to keep a kitchen open after close (on top of their meal cost of course) ?“

“Santouka is one of the better ramen options in the OC area. Most of the good ramen are options are closer to downtown LA, so it's nice to have something closer for folks in the OC and surrounding areas.
I always order the large spicy miso ramen with extra char siu ($15.95) with a side char-siu rice bowl ($6). Its enough to split between two people if you aren't super hungry. I enjoy the noodle quality and broth of the ramen. There are many different options and deals that they offer.
This location is always a little chaotic to get into and out of. I recommend going during off-hours because the food court always has hordes of people in it.“

“I have to admit, I should have checked Yelp before visiting this trendy new brothless ramen spot. I’m not one to chase after the latest restaurant fads, but I thought I’d give it a shot. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype. I anticipated a one-hour wait, but it ended up being an exasperating 1 hour and 40 minutes—definitely not ideal.
While the food was genuinely good, I can't help but wonder if it was worth that long wait. The outdoor seating was nonexistent, and it was frustrating to watch servers moving at a leisurely pace, seemingly with no sense of urgency. The service itself felt lackluster, which added to my disappointment.
On the plus side, the noodles were absolutely delicious and clearly the highlight of the meal. However, when weighing the wait time, service, and price against the food quality, the overall experience just didn’t come out on top for me.
If you decide to give it a try, be sure to add yourself to the Yelp waitlist beforehand. Hopefully, your experience will be better than mine! If you’re willing to wait it out, you might find gems on their menu, but be prepared for a less-than-stellar dining experience in the meantime.“

“An Evening at Kin Izakaya: Where Tradition Meets Ambiance In the culinary haven that our city embodies, Kin Izakaya emerges as a sanctuary of authentic Japanese flavors combined with the convivial spirit typical of Japan’s iconic gastropubs. It’s here that tradition and modernity collide to create not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring. The moment you step through the doors of Kin Izakaya, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that’s both lively and intimately comforting. The ambient lighting, coupled with rustic décor and understated oriental motifs, offers a welcoming reprieve from the city’s hustle and bustle. The soft murmur of patrons engaged in animated conversation sets the backdrop for an authentic izakaya experience. Kin Izakaya’s menu is a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese fare and innovative culinary creations. The tapas-style dishes, perfect for sharing, encourage a communal dining experience. From the delicate flavors of their sashimi to the robust, savory notes found in their yakitori selection, there’s a delightful complexity in each dish presented. The agedashi tofu, with its perfect crispy exterior giving way to silken tofu within, is a testament to the chef’s prowess in honoring traditional flavors while serving contemporary palates.“

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“I came here for dinner. This place is busy with a lot of people which I think is a good sign. Expect the long wait time especially at night. They are open late which is a good thing. This is my first time trying this ramen place. I ordered a regular tonkatsu with pork chasu, a rice bowl the fatty pork and fried baby octopus. The service was good and the food came out fast. Everything turned out really good. The broth from the ramen is rich and really good. I definitely want to come back to try their other dishes.“

“HiroNori is our favorite Ramen spot. Perfect noodles with delicious broth. My preference is the shoyu ramen with garlic and their house spicy sauce. Their chicken karaage is delicious and a great add on if you need more than a bowl of ramen.
They have limited indoor seating but a large shared patio area with umbrellas outside.“

“Their ramen is delicious. Go for the black ramen. Appetizers are all solid, including the spicy edamame and tempura.
Combos are a pretty good deal, with half off some of the best cut roll sushi options. We go here regularly.“

“The base soup is not too greasy nor salty. Larger portions than expected. Pro/con that there are only 4 types of soups to choose from. But makes sense since most Ramen places have few variety. Their salt Ramen was good but the spicy miso tasted like Mala seasoning, which I'm not a fan of. The combo is just rice + whatever topping you choose so it's simple but it tasted great to dip the rice in the Ramen soup. Only wish is for them to have takuan as a default side menu to have a refreshing taste.“

“I've been on a mission to try omurice with demiglace sauce and not the lazy ketchup drizzle. While Aoki No Chuuka didn't have Omurice, they did have Curry Omumeshi. It looked interesting and from the pictures, it looked like demiglace sauce. So I ordered it to try. This was very tasty. The curry fried rice is delicious. While the sauce doesn't seem like it is demiglace sauce but something similar to Bulldog Brand Sauce. It still worked. Definitely recommended.“

“We called in a reservation like an hour or two before we came, the over the phone experience with that was so-so, not good, not bad.
The experience at the restaurant more than made up for it. Dinner for 2. We were seated immediately. Appetizers and drinks were taken while we decided on our mains. Mains order taken and then our Appetizers arrived. Then shortly after we finished the Appetizers our food arrived. Everything was tasty and delicious. Usually when things come out this fast it raises suspicions but for Kopan, it just set a new standard for me. We were done with dinner in 45 minutes! FORTY FIVE. And not a single member of staff appeared to be rushing, they were just that good. 10/10.“

“The sushi was amazing, and the tan tan ramen broth was delicious. The ramen noodles were more firm than usual, but some people may actually prefer them al dente like that. The standard ramen was lacking in vegetables and fancy toppings: just broth, ground meat, noodles, and two small pieces of bok choi. If you order ramen, be sure to add corn or another vegetable.“

“The food is expensive as hellllll, with the tax and tip it was nearly $20! The food bangs tho, but I do wish they would give you the other half of the egg too. Beautiful location to eat and hang out, and it's fun to watch the chefs through the window prepare your food.“

“This is my 2nd time visiting Meiji. The food was so good and I totally forgot to take some pictures and write the review on my 1st visit. Today I took some pictures and wrote this review. This place has best udon in town. I ordered 4 most popular dishes, beef Shabu Shabu Udon, Shrimp Tempura Udon, Fried Squid Legs, and Fried Chicken. They are all very tasty. Their udon noodles are handmade and the soup broth is so delicious. The restaurant has ambience of Japanese tastes of hometown. This restaurant is not very big but they do offer online waiting list. I would recommend joining their waiting list before you visit the restaurant. Definitely will come back again!“

“One of the best ramen places you can go to in the OC. Their Spicy Miso ramen is delicious and the service is so quick.
The overall broth is thick and fatty which helps to fill you up quicker. The seasoning and flavors are also good. I’ve been to two of their locations and the consistency between flavor and service is amazing. My new go to spot.
Thank you Min and Antonio !“

“On Sunday evening, after my son finished his Taekwondo tournament in Tustin, I searched for nearby Ramen restaurants and drove my family to Yoshiharu Ramen.
To my surprise, only one server was attending to 80% of the customers. Since my kids were hungry, we decided not to spend time going to another restaurant. Therefore, we ordered the following items:
• Tonkatsu Black ($18.00)
• Tonkatsu Spicy Black ($18.50)
• Rib Eye Beef Bento ($20.00)
After waiting for 20 minutes, two bowls of Ramen arrived. I almost finished my meal when my wife and daughter realized the Bento had not arrived yet. I asked the server about it, and she apologized, explaining that it was taking longer than expected.
Advice to the Owner: To ensure better business, please consider hiring more servers and not cutting back on labor costs. Customers don’t like waiting.
If the waiting time improves, we will definitely return.
Parking: Many free parking lots“

“I’ve gotten this place a couple times through delivery, and I keep coming back for more! I’m usually not a huge ramen fan, but the tonkotsu broth was a perfect mix of flavor and richness without being overwhelming. Loved the noodle texture, the egg was not bad, appreciated the vegetables, and the chashu was fatty but yummy.
I’ve also gotten the cold dipping noodles before—can’t say I was as big of a fan but it could be personal preference! Wasn’t spicy like I was expecting given how red the dipping sauce was.“
