“The strawberry croissant is delicious and well balanced and the blueberry custard is good. There are many pastries and a variety of delicious treats. The Boston donut is good but there isn't that much chocolate in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and they are helpful. The vibe is a cafe with pastries on a different side of the room. “Came here with my friends because we were craving japanese curry. We got seated right away when we arrived. The menu is simple, you have an option to pick a base which was rice or udon and a protein. We all decided to get the katsu chicken with curry. 3.5/5 Chicken Katsu Curry. The curry was great and not too thick, not too runny. It was very flavorful and paired well with the radish. The chicken was very crispy, however it was very thin. There was a good amount of breading on the outside. Each dish came with 3 pieces of chicken. There was plenty for another meal. Overall the staff was friendly and attentive. The price was affordable for the amount of food you get! Would definitely come back if you're craving Japanese style curry.“
“The sushi chef was welcoming and friendly despite my little knowledge about sushi. All I tend to order is salmon sushi, spicy tuna hand roll, spicy tuna roll and some other rolls here and there. However, seeing him prepare sushi for the couple nearby made me want to try different kinds of sushi. I am looking forward to trying different fish from the sushi chef’s recommendation. “The best sushi spot I have ever been to. That includes Japan, New York, California, Hawaii. This place is an absolute treat. It's also the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. To some of the lower rating reviews, you have to understand how this place works and how special every single course is to appreciate it and then you'll get why they can't sit you right away or provide you takeout right away. The owners are the best and every single ingredient is top notch. I have been coming for years and can't ever get enough. It's a relaxing place with a very warm and comforting energy.“

“My favorite sushi place in the area! Very reasonably priced and a great deal. There are multiple sushi chefs so food comes out quickly. Staff is super nice. Great for pick-up orders as well! Highly recommended!!!Update: there have been some changes I have noticed here recently. They changed their menu and there are some things missing that I liked. Also, there seems to be a lack of waiters/staffing issue. The last 2 times I have come here, I received the worst service… or rather lack there of.“

“Absolutely delicious traditional Japanese food. My lawyer found this spot while looking around Google earth and thought we should give it a try. The food here is the closest to Japanese quality I've found in socal. Soba was top notch and so was the udon. The combination was well worth it and we found the staff to be excellent and helpful.“

“Went on a Saturday right at open at 5 PM. There was already a line and it was too late for the first round of seating. Had to wait about an hour for a table. I'd recommend going on a weekday if possible.The restaurant offers several types of cuisines. The yakitori was great. The sushi was standard like most places. I really liked the Osaka style yakiudon.I would come back to try the miso soup as they had several flavors I've never heard of before. I would also like to try their grilled dishes as well.“

Oki doki by meiji in Tustin is the perfect spot where you can start off with a fresh salmon cucumber roll and end with a piping hot udon. Their shabu shabu udon comes with perfectly cooked udon noodles and a generous amount of the most tender beef belly. The broth is also a beautiful balance of sweet and savory. “Came here for Katsu and service and food were good. Wish they could have given me more curry bc not enough for three rice. The Katsu is juicy and thick with a lovely texture. A meal is about 14-15 which is a little high considering without a drink and a fast food type. But at least better than regular fast foods“
