“This place is hands down AWESOME!The sushi is so delicious, we had the Bangkok, Salmon Lemon, Dragon, Kitajima, Philladelfia and the Alaska roll, all ingredients tasted so fresh. My hubby I are oversized and was very surprised that their sitting was very accommodating for peeps our size and very comfortable. The atmosphere is very chill with dim lighting and quite and the staff are very polite and attentive. We will definitely be coming back to this awesome place.“

To some of the lower rating reviews, you have to understand how this place works and how special every single course is to appreciate it and then you'll get why they can't sit you right away or provide you takeout right away. “We have been coming to sushi bear since it opened for years now and not sure if there's been a change in ownership last few years but quality continually slides down with the taste and menu options have shifted from unique to basic. Kind of disappointed with our last visit, but the staff was nice. If you're a basic rolls kind of customer then this is the place.“

“The sushi chef was welcoming and friendly despite my little knowledge about sushi. All I tend to order is salmon sushi, spicy tuna hand roll, spicy tuna roll and some other rolls here and there. However, seeing him prepare sushi for the couple nearby made me want to try different kinds of sushi. I am looking forward to trying different fish from the sushi chef’s recommendation. Stay tuned!Their beef soup was good, just a tad pricy for what it was. I’ll stick to Shabu if I want soup. Let's say your friend wants something else but you want Sushi- cool. The location is within a food court style location. There is a Greek, Mexican, and a cocktail bar also. So you have them covered. Can you say Parking is also validated? Unlike other so called 4 star Sushi places this one is a Humble place yhat deserves 5 stars with not so much marketing Hype. They instead used all the ? moneeeeey in the food. That is a good thing for you and me lol. THE sushi is Good. That is all i can say. What else? Oh and check out Drink Bars Margaritas. “My favorite sushi place in the area! Very reasonably priced and a great deal. There are multiple sushi chefs so food comes out quickly. Staff is super nice. Great for pick-up orders as well! Highly recommended!!!Update: there have been some changes I have noticed here recently. They changed their menu and there are some things missing that I liked. Also, there seems to be a lack of waiters/staffing issue. The last 2 times I have come here, I received the worst service… or rather lack there of.“

“If you ask me what I’m craving I will always say sushi and a hot broth. Oki doki by meiji in Tustin is the perfect spot where you can start off with a fresh salmon cucumber roll and end with a piping hot udon. Their shabu shabu udon comes with perfectly cooked udon noodles and a generous amount of the most tender beef belly. The broth is also a beautiful balance of sweet and savory. “This was perhaps the greatest this was the best dang bowl of the most delicious ramen we've ever had in our life. Everything came quickly with a smile and fast mode. A funny thing happened to the left of us that made us laugh/smile inside the pleasant restaurant of decorations nicely. I spoke with Jensen - the restaurant manager and he assured me I could!Friday we made a 5oclock reservation and had an amazing dinner! “First time ordering from Sushi Damu. I had the Coconut Shrimp and Aloha Fire. The Aloha Fire was very hot. I love heat but this was a bit much. The Coconut Shrimp was tempura inside of the roll and had great flavor. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant was enjoyable. Next time I'll dine in. :)“
