“I found this place through the Michelin restaurant guide.
A cozy place to enjoy authentic Japanese food. We ordered rolls, salad, and sashimi. The salmon wrapped crab meat sashimi is my favorite.
Be mindful of their schedule for lunch as they open for only three hours from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.“

“My wife and I have come here a couple times the last few weeks for both dine in and takeout.
The fish is fresh, the hand rolls are delicious, prices are reasonable, and service is pretty quick (as long as every seat doesn’t fill at the exact same time, but even that is manageable).
Highly recommended. In particular, we love the kanpachi, sea bream, and blue crab.“

“My child and I moved into the area in late 2022. We've been coming here since the place opened. It's a very nice environment and feel with the music playing. The deals offered are as they say, a deal. I always get the tonkatsu ramen with the chicken karaage. The karaage is very tender and the ramen amazing. I've always had the best service here and food is spectacular. Make sure to always try the deep fried ice cream. I could live off that stuff if I could.“

“Amazing Menu. The food melts in your mouth. Every bite I took was WOW! I had the Peruvian Ceviche, Parmesan scallops, tiger scallops and the Bluefin Tuna antiucho was so good I order 2 more orders of it. YUM. As a Peruvian a myself I totally recommend Akashiro. Will definitely come back and bring friends and family with me. Viva el Peru! 🇵🇪“

“Amazing food, menu is not even in English, that's tells you it's stellar! Server spoke perfect English though so don't let that steal you away. Some of the best rice for sushi I have ever had and extremely awesome food! You won't be disappointed!“

“Filling portions, accommodating staff, and most importantly delicious food. Izakaya style allows for small eats if needed (especially during happy hour, see posted). Their bento portions are more than fair and their staff will work with you no matter the circumstances. Major recommendation for casual dine-in and/or after work celebration.“

“Nice atmosphere, 떡볶이, 비빔밥 너무 맛있어요. Red Tteokbokki and Deluxe BiBimBap were delicious and had to take home with me for leftovers. Servers were very nice and even with how busy they were it was clean and comfortable.“

“Really good food options, but they seem to change it up pretty often. The overall taste is alright, pretty standard for an Asian buffet (haven't tried their hot pot yet though!) But the value is amazing. The price is what keeps me coming back.“

“Such a great find! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. They have an impressive selection of vegetarian and vegan options, which can be hard to find at sushi restaurants, and everything we ordered was delicious.
The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the restaurant was clean with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in both the quality of the food and the overall experience.
If you’re in the Fullerton area and craving sushi or ramen, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be back!“
