“Great location literally down the street so makes for a convenient walk for lunch. Tried the spicy ramen and went with the fav chicken teriyaki plate. Overall the spicy ramen had enough kick but not an excessively hot burn. Scallions and sprouts and half a hard boiled egg. Over all mid of the road. But cannot beat the cost to value. Teriyaki chicken is always good. The staff is super nice and service s quick. The location is busy and although small not crowded. You will enjoy !“
“Very friendly staff. Kitchen exhaust can be better, we could smell the cooking oil and smoke in the aircond room. Kalbi was excellent, Sushi roll was ok, taste good but portion is rather small. I guess that explains the descent price... overall ok, can consider if you are looking for Japanese food in the region (wasabi can be better though).“
“This sushi restaurant is very underrated. Their fish quality is amazing and service is fast. Nice atmosphere and there’s a movie theater next door so it’s a nice spot to eat at especially if you’re planning to catch a flick afterwards. Master Chef Peter Kim is very talented and his sushi is AMAZING, you almost don’t want to touch the plate. Beautiful dishes!Vegetarian options: Veggie options are availableParking: Los of parkingKid-friendliness: kid friendly restaurant lots of open spaceWheelchair accessibility: Accessible for everyone woth disabilities“
“We visited a tucked away great little sushi bar called Zaraku Sushi while in LA visiting our son and daughter last week as they had been raving about the Japanese fusion rolls for weeks prior to our arrival. Although we eat sushi regularly in the Seattle area, this was by far the best experience with LA style sushi. . They treated us to a fantastic meal, where the sushi chef (Hak Chan) made our experience one to remember. The daily catch for sashimi was perfect along with fire and lobster rolls. Appetizer of heart attack and dynamite were also mouth watering. This is a great place with a superb staff and excellent food at a low cost. We will be back again!“
“It's a nice little sit down over in la mirada. They have a great selection of food items, and their sushi is top tier? would highly recommend to go here for a lunch date or with the family during their happy hour. Overall 9/10 would eat here on a weekly basis“
“This has been our favorite dive for years now! There is new management and cook and the place is as good as ever if not better. The chicken teriyaki was tender just tight. The "jalapeño roll" (Spicy tuna on the inside and salmon, on the outside with some jalapeño on top) was the perfect combination of savory and spice. They have a new wallpaper design so there's a relaxed feel. The new owner, Paul, is really nice. I highly recommend this place for a tasty, relaxing family dinner. and the green tea ice cream is a nice touch.“
“began my culinary journey with a delightful skewer, but the star of the show was undoubtedly the sashimi plate. The freshness of the sashimi was striking, and each piece of yellowtail was a burst of flavor. What truly elevated the experience was the special wasabi sauce that adorned the sashimi, adding a delightful kick to every bite.Moving on to the yaki dishes, they were a perfect harmony of sweet and salty flavors. Each ingredient was tender, almost melting in my mouth like butter. The balance achieved in these dishes was commendable, making for a truly satisfying dining experience“
“Great quality, friendly atmosphere, definitely going to be a regular!A hidden gem in Garden Grove. Japanese owned omakase that focuses on seasonal offerings. Ben and Ayako make you feel welcome once you walk in those doors. The menu is hand written and you can see the focus and care that Ben puts with each piece of nigiri. If you want to come and get a bite, make sure you make your reservations at least 2 weeks in advance.“
“Very local to home. Walking distance close. Not sure why we don't frequent more often. The staff is super friendly. Place is always clean and inviting. Had the chicken teriyaki and the Beef Bulgogi. Both we super tasty. Give this local biz a visit and your tummy will be happy.“
