“This Japanese restaurant has been here at least 20 years. The food is fantastic. The service is welcoming. This is now our favorite Japanese restaurant. We use to go to the one on Rosecrans where Albertsons is. But there is no comparison to midoris food. We will be back again and again“

“We had a really nice experience! The side of the restaurant has enough space for a few tables to dine in, and it felt cozy. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I liked that they had sauces and water available right at the tables for self-service.

We dined in, and everything came out fast! We spent around $40 for a chicken bowl, two sushi rolls, and two miso soups ,perfect for two adults and a toddler. The food was amazing! My husband said the teriyaki chicken was really good, and I agree. the chicken was juicy, not dry at all. The salmon sushi was good too, just a little warm for my husband’s liking, but overall, everything had great flavor.

The music was a fun surprise, they were playing some techno, which we didn’t mind at all! It actually made the experience more fun. We even found ourselves dancing a little while eating. Definitely a place we’d come back to!“

“Amazing experience. At first I was wary when I realized the restaurant was in an older hotel next door to Disneyland but I admit I was absolutely wrong. The restaurant was good enough to be one you could find in any five star resort or Michelin guide. The service was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was welcoming and extra nice to us. The fish is fresh, the hand rolls are delicious, prices are reasonable, and service is pretty quick (as long as every seat doesn’t fill at the exact same time, but even that is manageable).

“A top ramen spot in Orange County located minutes from Downtown Fullerton. Go to dish is the Tonkotsu Ramen. Love the consistency of the noodles and the rich flavored broth. Service is always exceptional with a welcoming atmosphere. I drive past many ramen spots just to come here. That alone should say a lot!“

“Came to Sushi Story and we were seriously amazed! The fish was incredibly fresh, and every piece of nigiri, roll, and sashimi was HUGE! They also have wide selection of sake and Japanese beer. Everything was so satisfying, and they even have claw machines, which made the whole experience even more fun!

Overall, such a great spot, we had so much fun and absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back!

“What a perfect hole in the wall Sushi spot. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Disney. Narrowed it down to Hana out of 50 sushi restaurants. How this restaurant only has a 4.5 rating is besides me. Absolutely incredible service and food. FREE MISO SOUP!!! Yes, you read that correctly. They also have ACE if you are a big eater. There is a small alcohol serving too. The location has outdoor seating, but I didn't see anyone using it. I ordered a regular Tuna roll as part of dinner, and it came with the rice on the out. It was perfectly fresh and delicious. I asked if the Chef can do Tuna Maki as off the menu, and he pulled through! I cant say enough good things. 5 Stars all the way. I hope I can return.
Tip: Parking is limited.

PS: Yes, the Miso soup really is free, and its really good.“

“Usually I save TikTok videos of restaurants I wanna try when I travel to LA but we were starving when we got out of the source oc plaza and just randomly searched a ramen place nearby. This was the place nearest to us that the ramen pics looked appealing. I have to say the ramen here was amazing. It tasted almost the same to the ramen we tried in our trip to Tokyo. And our server was so nice and attentive. He was so sweet that he gave our mom her drink for free since she wasn’t going to consume food due to not liking ramen but she was accompanying us. Found this place by accident but i have now marked it as a favorite and will definitely go back!“

“We went here for the AYCE sushi and got the premium menu because we're visiting Socal for vacation. Absolutely phenomenal with the service and food! I love how friendly the staff was to us and explained how the process actually work. There are leftover fee + only order what you can eat! Definitely should ask for recommendations and they provide you a menu with pictures. I would absolutely come back here again! The parking lot is kinda small, but we were able to find a spot before the dinner rush.“

But services have been quick and they have gotten the orders right so far. They often send out discount codes which are very helpful in this economy. Prices are fairly reasonable. “Food is amazing. Pork Katsu comes with 5-6 pork slices that are extremely juicy and tender. Rice on the bottom with salad. Amazing side dishes like pickled radish and cucumbers served with creamy soup.

Service is incredible. Very attentive waiter. Fast with drinks and extremely speedy with service. I ask for napkins or more water; I close my eyes for one second and it's literally all there! Kim Tae (Ted) is amazing! Great work ethic displayed and attentiveness.

I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together.
