“Stopped here randomly on my way to a job and got an iced Spanish coffee and the lemon cookie. I stopped at these little coffee shops all the time and I honestly think this is the best one that I can remember going to out here in nela. My drink and my cookie were outstanding and the space was super clean and not over-hyped. Great service, great bathroom, great space, tons of parking. While the food here is easily an At and continues to be a favorite of mine, the morning service and atmosphere fell short during my recent visit.
I arrived right at opening time and waited 3-4 minutes to be greeted. The manager took my order, but her tone was rushed and she spoke so softly that I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times.
Additionally, the rest of the staff made me feel unwelcomed, creating a tense atmosphere.
As paying customers, we appreciate being greeted with a basic level of courtesy and care. I hope management addresses team communication and customer service expectations so the front-of-house experience can match the outstanding quality of the food.“

“I got in pretty much as soon as they open, so I got the special opportunity to get to talk to Kristine. After a lovely conversation and delicious food, I left feeling so full and at peace. The tempura was crispy and airy, the rice was perfectly cooked, the fish in the sushi tasted fresh. I cannot recommend visiting here enough. I am sure it can get busy, as the place is small, but I think that is part of its charm: meeting with a group of strangers for a good meal and a moment of peace before heading back into the world.“

“We had a really nice experience! The side of the restaurant has enough space for a few tables to dine in, and it felt cozy. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I liked that they had sauces and water available right at the tables for self-service.

We dined in, and everything came out fast! We spent around $40 for a chicken bowl, two sushi rolls, and two miso soups ,perfect for two adults and a toddler. The food was amazing! My husband said the teriyaki chicken was really good, and I agree. the chicken was juicy, not dry at all. The salmon sushi was good too, just a little warm for my husband’s liking, but overall, everything had great flavor.

The music was a fun surprise, they were playing some techno, which we didn’t mind at all! It actually made the experience more fun. We even found ourselves dancing a little while eating. Definitely a place we’d come back to!“

Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. “Came to Sushi Story and we were seriously amazed! The fish was incredibly fresh, and every piece of nigiri, roll, and sashimi was HUGE! They also have wide selection of sake and Japanese beer. Everything was so satisfying, and they even have claw machines, which made the whole experience even more fun!

This was the place nearest to us that the ramen pics looked appealing. I have to say the ramen here was amazing. It tasted almost the same to the ramen we tried in our trip to Tokyo. And our server was so nice and attentive. He was so sweet that he gave our mom her drink for free since she wasn’t going to consume food due to not liking ramen but she was accompanying us. “We went here for the AYCE sushi and got the premium menu because we're visiting Socal for vacation. Absolutely phenomenal with the service and food! I love how friendly the staff was to us and explained how the process actually work. There are leftover fee + only order what you can eat! Definitely should ask for recommendations and they provide you a menu with pictures. I would absolutely come back here again! The parking lot is kinda small, but we were able to find a spot before the dinner rush.“

“Food is amazing. Pork Katsu comes with 5-6 pork slices that are extremely juicy and tender. Rice on the bottom with salad. Amazing side dishes like pickled radish and cucumbers served with creamy soup.

Service is incredible. Very attentive waiter. Fast with drinks and extremely speedy with service. I ask for napkins or more water; I close my eyes for one second and it's literally all there! Kim Tae (Ted) is amazing! Great work ethic displayed and attentiveness.

“First time here and it was great. We showed up around 830pm and they had a few items out but for the most part everything we wanted we were able to get. Service is quick and friendly. The food was delicious but it'll depend on the broth you pick. Tomato tasted great for a non spicy and the szechuan for a spicy one was great as well. Many other flavors to come back and try.“

The sando was good. Moist egg filling and well toasted bread. The sake salmon...goodness gracious. It was delicious! I want to try more items on the menu, but I may have a hard time not ordering the salmon again. I highly recommend Neighborhood Bento.

“This is a delicious Chinese restaurant! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking is very limited because it is on a tiny lot but I came early so parking wasn't an issue. It appears there is free street parking. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. I had the Cheung fun with peanuts, Cheung fun with egg, shrimp fried rice, this green dessert, and tofu wrapped around rice roll. Everything was delicious. Cheung fun and tofu wrapped around rice roll were my favorite. The Cheung fun was thin and the sauce was so delicious! The tofu was crispy and it had some garlic inside and it was so delicious. The waitress brought out an extra sauce for my Cheung fun without me asking. They were very attentive. Restaurant was also really clean. I live in Thousand Oaks but needed to come into this area for business and decided to give this place a try. Well worth it and I will be back again next time I am in town. I also purchased another Cheung fun with peanuts to go and my daughters loved it and they are picky eaters.“

“This japanese AYCE bbq place offers 3 tiers pricing options. I chose the cheapest one which is $49.99. Quite pricey but comes with top class quality of meat. Also you can have few choices of ramen, fried rice, and soup. Only the steamed egg a little bit off. You have 90 minutes time limit but when it hit 70th minute, you are no longer able to place the order. Very good service as well, the waiters routinely come to your table. Overall, it was a very satisfactory dinner experiences. Will be back for sure !!!“
