“Best teriyaki chicken“

“First time here. Place looks a little rough but the food is good! Best teriyaki chicken I have had. Idk what they did but man this stuff is great. It's better than other Hawaiian places and even Chinese places. I'm surprised, will return.“

“After a popular sushi spot closed down at the local mall I hadn’t gone to any sushi restaurant for a long time. Finally decided to give this place a shot and I was pleasantly surprised! The food we ordered was yummy! We ordered a Bento box with Chicken Teriyaki and a Shrimp Tempura Roll, a California roll and a Golden Philly Roll. The miso soup was good too.

Can the servers work on their table side manner? Yes there’s room for improvement from some of them but they weren’t rude. Is the ambience chic? No not really. Decor can use some updating for sure. And the outside seating can definitely have some cool lighting and maybe heat lamps instead of the plastic tarp they have. But the food was good. I’ll definitely be coming back ?“

“I recently dined at this sushi restaurant, and it was much more delicious than I expected

-Sushi:
We ordered yellowtail, albacore, and salmon sushi and they were unbelievably fresh, with each bite melting like butter. The quality of the fish was outstanding, and my boyfriend especially loved their salmon.

-Calamari Tempura:
It was crispy, and cooked to perfection. It came with a refreshing salad, and the house-made dressing added a burst of flavor that tied it all together.

- Baked Lobster Roll:One of my favorites! It was perfectly balanced and full of rich, satisfying flavors.
- Aloha Roll:A must try!, with just the right amount of spiciness, making each bite extra enjoyable.
- Salmon Roll:This roll was also incredibly fresh, with every bite bursting with flavor. I couldn’t recall the exact name because I was too busy savoring every mouthful!
- Monster Roll:It was packed with bold flavors and had the perfect harmony—absolutely delicious.

Service:
- Our server was kind and friendly, making the experience even better. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews about their service—we had a great time and felt well taken care of.“

“At my experience here it was very enjoyable with the service and food for one, the food was excellent and tasty with full flavor. I was a party of 10+ and the employee I had was named “Savior” he was very kind and laughed with my party at jokes we made he made us feel more welcoming in the restaurant itself! I give special props too him for understanding our mix up on our ice cream order and for he made sure we had everything ready for us and double checked with our order, I enjoyed his time with us. For the food it was good and the environment as-well, I highly recommend eating here with friends or family you have around with you too enjoy the same as I did!“

“Sansei Japan cafeteria is inside the Patio Cafe food court of the shops at Montebello mall. It’s one of few places that make the California rolls and the shrimp ? tempura rolls to order. They’re really fresh and tasty. The chow men noodles are delicious. The beef ? & shrimp ? teriyaki is perfect. Great place for a Japanese quick, delicious, and healthy full filling meal ?“

“This quaint amazing Japanese restaurant is a hidden gem in Boyle Heights. Very friendly staff and great food. They also let me order 10 minutes before closing. The only, minor, complaints are that there is very limited seating, they have a limited menu and they operate limited hours.“
