“Yama Sushi Market Place has many locations in LA, tried all different locations, love them all. I usually do not give five stars for rating, but for this one, they deserve the 5 star. The fish is extremely fresh with reasonable price. It will cost three or four times more if you order the exact same varieties of fish from restaurants . They also have a very good variety of sake to select from. The Otoro, the fatty tuna melts in your mouth. Hamachi was extremely fresh. Salmon was exceptional. California roll was so yummy with soft rice. Definitely recommend.“

We literally just left, but the service tonight was so top notch that I had to leave a review and give the staff a shoutout. We brought our kids this time and everyone was so nice and attentive. Even my son said, “Everyone there is so nice!” which pretty much says it all.

We tried a bunch of things we didn’t get last time, and the Katsu Caesar Salad was definitely our favorite this time. Everything we ordered was so good.

My husband is vegan and the rest of us aren’t, so we love finding a place where he has plenty of options and the rest of us can enjoy everything too. Such a great spot and definitely one we’ll keep coming back to! Worth the drive for us“

Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. “This is a delicious Chinese restaurant! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking is very limited because it is on a tiny lot but I came early so parking wasn't an issue. It appears there is free street parking. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. I had the Cheung fun with peanuts, Cheung fun with egg, shrimp fried rice, this green dessert, and tofu wrapped around rice roll. Everything was delicious. Cheung fun and tofu wrapped around rice roll were my favorite. The Cheung fun was thin and the sauce was so delicious! The tofu was crispy and it had some garlic inside and it was so delicious. The waitress brought out an extra sauce for my Cheung fun without me asking. They were very attentive. Restaurant was also really clean. “This japanese AYCE bbq place offers 3 tiers pricing options. I chose the cheapest one which is $49.99. Quite pricey but comes with top class quality of meat. Also you can have few choices of ramen, fried rice, and soup. Only the steamed egg a little bit off. You have 90 minutes time limit but when it hit 70th minute, you are no longer able to place the order. Very good service as well, the waiters routinely come to your table. Overall, it was a very satisfactory dinner experiences. Will be back for sure !!!“

“Came here on a pure whim. Was planning to just get Pollo Loco, but spotted them, immediately decided to get a chicken katsu curry, and it was sublime. Service was pretty quick, and the presentation was excellent also. However, there's not a lot of interaction with staff, they want you to browse the menu and order on your phone, they just deliver the food. And, maybe as a result, there's not a lot of atmosphere either, felt a little fast foodish. But the food itself is well worth the visit.“
