“It's pretty dark and loud inside during dinner. Even during the day, it can be loud and you have to speak up to hear across the table. Food is tasty but can come out show during lunch or dinner rush. I like their pass around family style rolls meal option for ordering. It does it a little pricey, but I think the portion and fish-to-rice ratio is great. Definitely take advantage of the happy hour deals!“

“Wa is a lovely restaurant with excellent service and delicious sushi. My girlfriend and I come here pretty regularly and are always treated wonderfully by Hara, whose got an amazing memory. We come for date nights , work lunches, birthdays and especially when it’s raining and you need some udon. Reasonably priced, quaint ambience and now that the in n out fixed their parking, it’s easier to get to.“

“If you are in the San Gabriel Valley area you must stop here if you want amazing Sashimi. Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. Yum yum 🤤 ended with Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 it was so sweet like cotton candy in your mouth made me wanting more which I did order more. Lol 😂 The house hot Sake was good for a cold night paired so well with my amazing Sashimi! Great way to end my Friday night here! Thank you Chef!“
