“Katsu Jin has the best katsu outside of Japan. The tenderloin katsu is made with a think cut of pork and fried to perfection. I try to get here once a month even though it is 45 minutes from my house. The gyoza are also fantastic! Can't recommend this place enough.“

“I like this location more than Little Tokyo due to distance and ease of parking. They both aren't that much different to each other, but there's a few differences. Parking: no seriously, you don't have to struggle to find parking here. They share a huge lot behind the plaza so parking is a breeze. No struggling to find a space when you're in DTLA Indoor seating isn't as big at the OG spot, but it doesn't feel as outdated and rundown. Food is pretty good here. The 3 hand roll set is enough to fill me up, but I was hungry and opted for 5. The unagi and the snow crab are pretty good. The reg hand rolls like the salmon and spicy tuna deserve an honorable mention. Portion sizes are fair and you get an equal rice:protein ratio. Service is good. Would return again“

“The food is excellent! The staff is always pleasant and attentative and they give you a complementary bowl of edames to start. Tokoro is reasonably priced, you get alot for your buck. My sister and I order the Deluxe Udon Combination for $23.95 and share it. I usually order the miso soup and a salad on the side. The combination is alot for one person, atleast for me it is. I highly recommend Tokoro for Japanese food. I stopped going to some Japanese restaurants I used to frequent because the price, ambiance and quality is much better at Tokoro!Parking: Free parking is in back.“

“Solid ramen spot in South Pasadena, great, attentive, chill service on a stormof a Sunday, served food nearly after I placed my order, reasonable prices for portions given, generous on your chashu pork & kimchi for kimchi ramen, appreciate they saved me from overeating & just took the small portion of food I wasn’t able to finish. Broth & noodles were warm with good texture on the noodles. Didn’t even ask for a tip, pleasant surprise beyond the meal before I took off. Ambiance is definitely relaxed and they maintain a clean restroom if you need to use it of course. -would give business again“

“I've explored various poke joints in the past, but none quite stack up to PSB. While I won't proclaim it as the absolute best poke I've ever tasted, it unquestionably reigns supreme within my locality. When it comes to the combination of portion size and cost, PSB takes the crown. Unlike some other places I've tried, where you either pay a hefty sum for underwhelming fare or settle for a lower price with subpar quality, PSB offers an unbeatable balance. At PSB, there are no unnecessary frills. What you request is precisely what you receive, and the servings are generous. Nearly 95% of the time, you'll walk away more than satisfied. In all my visits, I've encountered only a solitary hiccup when the rice turned out clumpy. The convenience extends beyond the culinary experience. Finding a parking spot on the street has never been an issue for me. PSB may have limited indoor seating, but I've always preferred taking my delectable bowl to go.“
