Amazing experience at Tensho. Wonderfully attentive staff and delicious dishes. Especially recommend the Wagyu Sushi that just melts in your mouth. Great for a special night out in Little Tokyo!
Great experience overall. It gets pricey than before. It was called Kagaya before covid. I was told that owner has changed. As well as the menu changed quite a bit too. At lease they didn't charge for a desert before. As a conclusion, if you want a fine finding this is the place. However, if you are short on cash, go somewhere else. Spending over 200 dollar per person is an easy thing to do.

Tensho occupies the former Kagaya location. While it offers the required A5 Wagyu cuts, their prime cuts are marbled and have a very tender consistency; plus an expanded seafood option for the hot pot. Unless you want to take a chance, reservations are highly recommended.
