“I really enjoyed my meal here. Sushi was really delicious. I highly recommend this plate. Super great. I will come back again here for sure. The jasmine peach green tea is just perfect. I was really satisfied. There was enough tables available to eat and dine in. There is plenty of parking to park your car too.“
“COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is okay. It isn't too big nor is it too small. I never have any problems with finding a parking spot. The spots there are decent. They aren't too tight. Food: I ordered a chicken plate. Yoshinoya is famous for their Original Beef Bowl but a fair amount of people also order the Chicken plate which is a fairly typical rendition of your common Chicken Teriyaki plate: grilled chicken thigh (skin-on unless you specify otherwise), broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower, and teriyaki sauce over a bed of steamed short grain rice. I love their teriyaki sauce on the chicken. This chicken bowl is super tasty, flavorful, and juicy. The chicken skin was also very crunchy. The steamed and soft veggies are bland, but I usually add soy sauce to it to give some flavors. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, fast, and welcoming. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.“
“Ordered here via Uber eats and you gotta ask for ginger separately otherwise it doesn't come with any. Food tastes like how it should and is delicious as always. Got two combo bowls with different meats and it definitely hits the spot when you're feeling something quick.“
“I got the app so last time I order from Azuza I had to go pick it up to El Monte but it was warm. It was delicious. They give me my condiments. This place is another one that I usually like to go to. I’m going to see pictures next time I do definitely recommend it.“
“The Ribeye cap M9 here is so beautifully marbled but I think I loooved the Prime short rib even more. It was flavored so perfectly and literally melts in your mouth.And have you ever had grilled eel at Japanese BBQ before?? “The H S Express Delivered, this sushi spot is nothing fancy but is low-key with dynamite fresh flavor and a nice selection of sashimi, sushi, rolls, and a few other goodies to be found at sushi restaurants. The decor is simple, and the service is good ,and the food is very fresh. This is a very small establishment with 5 tables and 2 seats at the bar, still brand new to the neighborhood . I noticed a lot of takeout and a steady flow of patrons to this spot, but I believe that will change when they find out how good this place is. Also, there are only two sushi chefs, so relax and enjoy the time. There is no alcohol served here, so don't let that spoil your experience here. You did come for the Hamachi experience. “My friend recommended this market to me. It is easy to miss because the entrance is in the back. The kids like ordering the fresh seafood and although the store is small, they have a good selection of rolls along with other Japanese items. My two favorite things to get are the avocado roll which has been consistently creamy and delicious and the chicken karaage that has a fantastic dipping sauce. If you like mochi ice cream, they have a brand named “Mochidoki” that has flavors like Chocolate Habanero and birthday cake. There are also some cute items such as stationary and pet toys. There is some parking in the back that is shared with Thai Paradise and also parking on the street“

I mean, we're talking large portions here - especially their mouthwatering fried rice and perfectly grilled proteins paired with a variety of veggies.The unassuming location with street parking might throw you off, but don't let that deter you. This place is a hidden gem in El Monte. Plus, they're in the process of revamping their menu, so there are even more exciting things to look forward to.
