“Frequent here for their grilled plates & rolls. Like their sesame cabbage salad & grilled vegetables. Today's was not quite satisfactory as usual.... got some weird taste after a few bites into spring salad. Checked & found a few leaves that were bad. And grilled veggies skewer had mainly onions, which I preferred mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers like a few past orders. The beef were kind of over cooked. Not sure if any ingredients were not very fresh today... ran to restroom about 4 times with stomach problem. Vendor~ please double check your greens & meats thoroughly before serving. Over all good taste, but we all need to double check before serving & eating.“

“I've been to the Katsu Bar in Irvine, and I enjoyed the food so much that I had to come back.

Parking: Free parking lot. They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. Very casual and chill. I visited on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy.

Service: I was greeted right when I entered. She asked if I had any questions and offered help. There's two self ordering kiosks. You can also order takeout. Throughput took a little over 10 minutes.

Food: I ordered the Rosemary Chicken Katsu Sando with baja chipotle sauce and waffle fries. Their sandos are my favorite menu items. Perfect for lunch. The chicken katsu was fried and seasoned deliciously. The bread was milky and light. The waffle fries tasted as expected. My only tip is try to eat the sandos asap. Otherwise the bread might get too soft. I really wanted the strawberry sandos for dessert, but they were out of stock that day. Highly recommend trying the sandos!

Pricing: They have daily deals at an extremely affordable price. Honestly everything on their menu is worth its price. Will definitely be visiting this small chain again!“

“This was our first time coming to this Korean sushi restaurant. It was a great experience although this is not somewhere I'd bring a large group based on the limited seating. The service was great and the sushi tasted fresh. I recommend the Cerritos and crispy sushi for sure. I would recommend this place for sure.“

“This food is amazing, the chicken taste amazing, the cashier is super kind and always has a smile no matter what, they ask how you feel and what else you want. But most importantly the food, the chicken taste super good, with the rice and vegetables come plate your meal. This food does make your belly feel happy and full. 5 stars would recommend“

“Yesterday, Jan. 17, 2022, at around 2:39 P.M., my wife and I had lunch. I highly commend the staff for following the health protocol of checking the proof of vaccination of their customers. We were approached by a young lady waitress who took our orders and after a while, we were served our lunch order. Then came the time we had to pay our lunch bill. We called her attention and she handed us the bill book but she left right away after pouring the leftover broth in the styrofoam containers but we still have some food to go but she left without finishing her job with us and leaving the book with our payment. We saw her by the door greeting new customers coming in and totally ignoring our presence and stood there nonchalantly as if we were invisible. She should have finished with us before attending to new customers. This is a “no-no” for a business place like this! Not all customers are honest and could have slipped out without paying their bill on a case like this. All I did was to stand up and hand our payment to another waiter who was around. This lady waitress did not totally come back to us. I would like to call the attention of Yuzu Shabu Management to address the and take action to this matter and to monitor this behavior of its staff. In any business, Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. Thank you for your kind attention!“
