The side dishes (tsukidashi) were also excellent, and I highly recommend the spicy fish stew (Maeuntang). Everything tasted clean and refined. Plus, the service was fantastic!“

“I showed up at 10:09. It opened at 10:00 and already had 2 people at a table and 4 in line ahead of me. I ordered the Yaho Special with salmon substitute and shrimp. Both the grilled salmon and shrimp were wonderful. I'll definitely be coming back here the next time I'm craving grilled salmon or shrimp.“

The server provided a narrative for each plate. The total time for this great selected omakase was 1.5 hours. The ambiance was lively, and the servers were polite, friendly, and prompt. At first, I was a little intimidated because there’s lots of options on the menu, but the staff is friendly and willing to help answer any questions you have. We come here at least one a month, more times if we have family coming in from out of town as it’s a great spot to to take them that I know will be different than they have in their home town. This place is my go to for great food, awesome service and a fun atmosphere. It is also my go to if I have a larger party. Anytime I have come here with a party of 6,8 or even 10 people, the host doesn’t even bat an eye and space is found for us. I love the ability to get great Korean comfort food along with the best yakatori. We love the vibe, the people and the food here. Thank you Sojuya! It is always a treat to come.“

“When I think of mitsuwa market, I think of a place that is a full grocery store, a collection of grab and go lunch selections, a bakery, a bookstore/gift shop, and a bunch of restaurants. This place isn't so much a mitsuwa market as it is half of a mitsua market. You're still going to get the excellent grab and go options, you're still going to get some decent groceries available, and they do have some restaurants and that incredible mochi. But if you're looking for the same range of selections that you're used to at a Mitsuwa market, this is not Not the place for you. It's more like the grab and go option rather than the full experience.“
