“This place was great. It was empty when we walked in hopefully they usually get more business because they definitely deserve to stay open. For me, the service was perfect, the guy welcomed us in and left us alone after that which is perfect since i’m shy. We got the pork cutlet kimbap and the rose tteokbokki. The tteok was perfectly chewy and so soft and great for me because i can’t handle a lot of spice. The pork cutlet in the kimbap was so so yummy. We’ll definitely come back.“

Teokbokki was really watery so if you like urs thicker prolly not from here. But the rice cakes were really nice and soft.

At first, I was a little intimidated because there’s lots of options on the menu, but the staff is friendly and willing to help answer any questions you have. We come here at least one a month, more times if we have family coming in from out of town as it’s a great spot to to take them that I know will be different than they have in their home town. This place is my go to for great food, awesome service and a fun atmosphere. It is also my go to if I have a larger party. Anytime I have come here with a party of 6,8 or even 10 people, the host doesn’t even bat an eye and space is found for us. “I was staying in a hotel nearby and saw this restaurant on google maps so I wasn’t sure how it would be. But honestly, this place was really excellent. One of the better Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had. All of the food was very fresh and tasty. They gave us a huge variety of dishes and I ate until I was very full, but I still felt great afterwards. On top of that, the staff were very nice. Great experience.“

“Came with a friend as a play date with our kids my and we had so much food we couldn’t finish! Got the dooki combo. The ddukbokki was served on a heating dish so it would stay hot throughout the meal. My kids devoured the dooki rice and cheese balls. The chicken was the sleeper hit though... “I've been a regular for years, I used to drive all the way to Garden Grove just for their jokbal. I’m so thrilled they finally opened a branch nearby! The taste is so authentic and delicious that I’d crave it even if I were back in Korea“

“Starting with the food. I got the fresh salmon, popping salmon, fluffy egg, and grilled spicy pork. I liked the fluffy egg and grilled spicy pork the best.
Fresh salmon is alright. It is what it is with basically poke quality salmon. Light and refreshing.
Popping salmon has like sort of a buldak/rameny flavor for the marinade which I didn’t like but my partner liked. Not too spicy.
Grilled spicy pork is fairly typical dwaegi gogi, which i like so i’m a little biased. i thought it was good with the yubu. Plenty of pork marinade seeping through the rice. Not very spicy.
Fluffy egg did not have as much roe as the picture lead me to believe but it was good. It also had a few salmon roe for some reason but I liked it. Nice and savory. Egg was wet-ish and soft. nice.

Prices are fairly reasonable. I’d say 3-4 would be a pretty filling meal for the average person. about $5-7 each yubu after tax. I’ve never seen a yubu restaurant before. Vibes are kind of grab and go but they have a decent amount of seating for like groups of 4-5 maybe (like 3-4 tables)

Pretty okay neat looking modern place on the inside. I might try again if I was craving something in particular. I wanted to try the Garlic Butter Crab that other reviews were talking about.“

“A hidden gem in a Korean market in Fullerton. They serve up fresh poke salads, Korean rice bowls and sushi for pretty cheap! I think nothing was over $15 and everything came with a mini udon. Got the crunchy poke salad which was so vibrant and colorful. Super fresh ingredients. The salmon and tuna was soooo tasty. Also tried the spicy pork bulgogi cupbap which I could probably eat daily and never tire of it. Also got the Hawaiian shrimp roll which my kid loved.

“My friend and I got their spicy marinated crab and it was soooo good. The perfect texture and flavor. It wasn’t too spicy and it paired so well with rice and seaweed. We also got the beef soup with dumplings and rice cake which was also amazing as well! The workers here are so kind too“

We ordered the soondae guk and the galbi tang. The galbi was rich and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was the soondae (blood sausage). The texture was different, filled with a mixture of pork blood and noodles.

“This is a small family own restaurant that provides very authentic Korean food. The location is a bit weird especially when you visit during the night.
At the parking lot, we hesitated and thought we might go to the wrong place. However, we love the food there. We ordered bul-nak jun-gol. The casserole is heartwarming especially eating in a winter night. The side dishes are also great.
