“BEST Korean food I've had in a long long time. It takes a while to come out because everything is made fresh, but man... The wait was worth it. Great banchan all around. Great pickles. Great kimchi. Solid miso soup. The pork belly was so clean, cooked just right. The seaweed rolls were perfectly crisp. The tonkatsu was juicy and mildly crunchy. My wife and I are soooooo happy.“

“Taste goodThis is one of the delicious Korean food restaurants. My favorite dish in this restaurant is the young radish kimchi. The young radish kimchi and soybean paste stew that are served as side dishes and complimentary throughout the year bring me here.Personally, I find various items on their menu tasty, including kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), grilled hairtail fish, and braised hairtail fish. Today, I enjoyed the pork bossam, and I would rate it three stars. It was rich and satisfying.One thing that disappointed me was that the jjanchi guksu (banquet noodles) I ordered for takeout two weeks ago, which I thought was on the menu, turned out to be a different dish. It was more like somyeon (thin wheat noodles) in kalguksu broth, not what I expected. It started with my misunderstanding, and I appreciate them trying to accommodate my request, but I was completely disappointed as it was a different dish. In my opinion, it would be better if they informed customers that what they requested isn't on the menu.This has been my favorite kalguksu place for a long time. Despite the name changing several times over 23 years, a five-star rating is more than enough.

“1. Chueotang is not as thick as in Korea, but it seems to be the best here.2. Loving pig's feet and even lettuce. However, it is not a jokbal full of scent of herbal medicine, octagonal or cinnamon. A kind of succulent-like, unscented feeling.3. The owner and the server are very kind.4. To be honest, I've never seen a Korean restaurant with this level of sound quality at this price.“

“I did a pick up order which was very easy to order online. Picked up food the restaurant was very clean and nice atmosphere. Employees very nice and welcomed me immediately. Food was amazing in all levels. We will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend soy garlic wings and cheesling fries.

None the less it could get quite boring really fast cause they don't have many options to choose from & their portions for the price it doesn't add up! Tuesday they have 2 regular bowls for $13.99 & I devoured both bowls for dinner & I ain't even fat YO!?????❣️?“

“Omg I came to Chodang and had such delicious korean tofu soups. I tried beef mild soondubu, seafood pancakes (must try), mackerel fish , and 2 intestine gopchang soondubus (medium) spice level. The korean lady was very very kind and welcoming. They even had new chairs & tables so it looked extremely modern.

“This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.

I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“

“The biggest chicken katsu I have ever seen and it's tasty too. I'm glad the katsu sauce was on the side. It makes the crispy chicken stay crispy. It comes with rice and curry too. Everything comes in big servings so make sure you don't come alone. It's best when sharing.
I really enjoyed their steamed egg. I never seen it served in a container before. I didn't mind it though, because how good it taste.
Don't forget to get their bulgogi cheese fries. It's a customer favorites and I see why. The fries was thick cut, with melted cheese - a lot of it too, and loaded with bulgogi. I took some really good big bites with those.“
