“All the side dishes and main menus here are hands-down the best among all Korean restaurants in Orange County.
The neat and heartfelt side dishes,
and the main dishes made without skimping on any ingredients, are all truly delicious.
Our family is sincerely a loyal regular at Hanmi Restaurant.“

“There is plenty of parking space, but as you know, it gets full on the weekends.
I went there Friday around lunchtime and, as usual, the galbi tofu combination was really good. The raw crab was also excellent, and we ended up buying some side dishes to take home. It wasn’t crowded, and the service staff was very nice. We will definitely be back soon.“

“A Korean blood sausage soup spot in Cerritos!
This restaurant serves one of Korea’s most classic comfort foods and hangover meals — soondaegook.
The soup is hearty, rich, and has a slightly thicker, saucy texture. It’s best enjoyed with fresh chives, perilla seed powder, and a bit of the classic salted krill sauce mixed in.
I really enjoyed this hearty bowl of soup and would definitely recommend this spot for a quick and satisfying lunch!“

“My family and I were on vacation from New Mexico and had always wanted to try Korean BBQ. While searching for places to eat, this restaurant popped up with great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. This was our very first Korean BBQ experience, and at first we had no idea what we were doing! We asked one of the female servers for help, and I'm so disappointed that I didn't get her name because she was absolutely amazing. She gave us recommendations on what to order, explained how everything worked, and every single thing she suggested was delicious! Once we got the hang of ordering and cooking our food, we were in food heaven. Our server, Eric, was incredibly polite, attentive, and easy to talk to. We had a great conversation, and he made our experience even better.
1000/10 - I highly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.“

“Hidden Gem, this place is HELLA slept on & needs more love. Food was great, Service was great and not rushed ?
Now for the atmosphere: Music was good, Vibes were cool. I would say the owners should give the Restaurant a mini makeover with the Walls and TVs / bathroom updated.
Besides that food is great here & in my opinion better then GEN kbbq ?“

“You know, Korean style chicken has evolved over the past decades in Korea itself and the market’s saturated with many brands more popular than Pelicana, but Peicana was one of THE original brands known for their spicy seasoned chicken (yang nyum)
I have not tried any other Pelicana locations, and I have no particular comment for their regular fried chicken, but the spicy original seasoned chicken at this particular Artesia location is VERY good with generous sauce on the bottom of the box to dip in any portions that you want more of it on. My hubby says it tastes just like what he used to have back in the days (tho he is more of a Kyo chon consumer in Korea, but here in the States this is his favorite). So I would say (for those who like ‘em of course) just get the original spicy seasoned chicken and you won’t fail. Plus the lady who runs the place is very, very nice — three times we bought from her though she doesn’t seem to remember (-;“

“No frills, hole-in-the-wall type restaurant serving up delicious food.
The service is what you’d expect for an Asian restaurant that has the food to back up the casual energy. Nobody is greeting you with a fake facade, but I ordered my Jajang mien black bean noodles, and I was given a little side of kimchi and pickled radish and some hot tea. I ate in peace and enjoyed my meal completely. Can’t wait to go back and have another bowl or try their sweet and sour pork.“

“I know there are a lot of bad reviews for this place but my most recent visit was actually pretty good. We were seated immediately and we were constantly checked on by the staff to make sure we had everything we needed. The bulgogi which I don’t order all that much, was the standout here. We ordered five rounds of it and it was delicious! The beef belly and brisket was also quite good and they kept bringing us sides of kimchi and radish paper which was greatly appreciated. Honestly I have no complaints. The last time I came here was seven years ago and it was a horrible experience but I’m glad I gave them another chance.“

“Love Gangnam Kimbob so much. Very laid back atmosphere. Service is always hospitable and upbeat. Food options are plentiful and delicious. You also get a lot for your dollar here imo. The kimbop is very filling and always leaves me feeling good about my choice to eat out given the portion of veggies contained within. I usually cycle between the tonkatsu, tempura shrimp, ssam and spicy ssam kimbops, while my wife loves to order their shin ramyun. They also have some interesting combos for lunch and dinner I’ve yet to try, but come with a variety of food that seem like a great option when you don’t only crave one thing. I can’t recommend this place enough.
P.S. they do discounts during their happy hour“
