“This place is AMAZING! The food is delicious and reasonably priced (and plenty to take home), the atmosphere is cool and the drinks are cheap! But the real stand-out is the staff - they are super nice and are working really hard to make sure everyone feels welcome. My new favorite place in LA!!”
“They are so consistent with their noodles and dishes. The taste is the same regardless different locations and from time to time.
I had:
1. Beef fried noodles
2. Three appertizers: garlic salt pepper pork ribs, fried chicken cutlet, crispy cucumber
3. Sesame ball
4. Kumquat lemon iced tea”

“Tldr; Amazing food, super friendly service, generously seasoned and reasonable pricing especially for quality. Get the jeera rice
Was in Artesia with a friend to try some good Indian food and we found it. I got the Shahi Paneer and my friend got a spiced cauliflower dish I can't remember the name of and both were absolutely beyond. I also can't recommend the jeera rice enough, maybe my favorite way to have rice now and they do not season lightly. Server was super sweet and was happy to explain anything we had questions on which is especially nice since I will say yes to anything food related. Also very accommodating for vegetarian/vegans which is a huge bonus. Can't wait to come back and try more :)”

“The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing lunch.😇”

“Hidden gem closed to home. Rare to find great tasting pho closed to home and big in portion.
Throughout the years many pho places give very little and tiny portions, but Tasty Pho reminds me of the good size pho bowls one used to get back in the day. Their prices are also very reasonable. Their stuff attentive to your needs.
The broken rice is very complete with the egg quiche, shrimp paste and radish carrot salad for a very good price. No need to go to Little Saigon anymore to eat great Vietnamese food”
“We went for the first time today and boy was it delicious! I had the brisket bowl my husband had the 405 sandwich and we shared the brisket loaded fries, it was all delicious there was nothing left! Cudos to the person that is smoking the meats in Artesia location and the staff😊”
“I come here once a month to stock up on Indian food. The frozen curries are enough for 2 or 3 meals each with rice. the samosas are great and the lentil soup or dal is great for protein! I'll also buy a masala Dosa or idli's to eat with a mango lassie before going home. It's a great deal!”
“We were on a trip to LA and really wanted to have a proper South Indian food for lunch. We chose this place based on the reviews. We dined on a weekday noon. It was not very busy. We orders thali , parotta kurma , poori bhaji and punugulu. Every item was very fresh and tasty. Meals in particular was very authentic. The thali came with rice, sambhar, poriyal, dal, vital , more kuzhambu, papad , sweet. They serve unlimited meals ( they do check with you if you need a second serving) The staff were very friendly and checked on us every now and then. They made sure we got everything. The food was so good we digged in right away, hence no pics !! Tea was delicious too. We would have dined here again if we had stayed close by. If you are looking for a comfort South Indian food , this would be the place.”
“The 3 of us came here for lunch. We always order the Honey Walnut Shrimp Burger which is delicious (5/5). The Taro Sweet Milk is good (4/5) and the Black Sesame Matcha is just average (3/5). It could get busy during lunch rush hour, kitty might take 10-15 minutes you wait for your burger, although the drinks are much faster. The ambiance is airy with high ceiling, the Chinese decor is quite interesting.”
“10/10 Most delicious food with friendly customers service 😋 highly recommended 👌 👍”

“Came here while craving some caffeine-free late night boba and was pleasantly surprised with how great the Longan ginger goji berry drink was.
The guy helping me was super helpful and friendly. Drink came out super fresh (waited 8 minutes - as he mentioned). Super delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try other options!”
“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions. I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and I have always left satisfied.”
“We've been here three times, and each time has been a culinary adventure. The food is fresh, delicious, unexpected, colorful, and well priced. The menu is big, so make sure you ask for help and suggestions, the personnel are helpful and kind. We will come back for sure to keep trying new items and expand our experience of Indian cuisine. And I highly recommend this place for people wanting to try authentic, tasteful, and affordable Indian food.”
“Total hole in the wall, mom and pop shop. Portions are large and are very tasty. Add that extra chili oil if you dare. Had the Ma Po tofu, filet fish with preserved pickled soup noodle and chili oil wontons. They speak limited English so don't roll in here thinking you are going to custom order or have them explain the menu ingredients and where they are from. Usually not busy weekday lunches, though your food might take some time to come out since there is only one guy back there cooking, so relax and drink some jasmine tea.”
“Sambar and chutneys were excellent. I was craving something spicy and andra kara masala dosa hit the spot very well. I also liked how it didn't felt too greasy or had an overwhelming buttery taste. However, the dosa came out soft and pale. It would have been a perfect meal if they didn't undercook the dosa.”
“Now my favorite Korean restaurant. A customer a table over noticed us enjoying the food. Without us knowing they picked up our bill. Thank You. We truly enjoyed the meal”
“Food: Grabbed a modest amount of fixings (i.e., veggies, seafood, meats, etc.) for my soup, which totaled out to be ~$13. Not too shabby. Opted for the beef bone broth; however, there was a taste/smell to it, reminiscent of lamb (I only got beef), which was unexpected and a bit off-putting for me.
Service: Decent. While it isn't a standard sit-down restaurant, be prepared to be charged a gratuity for a party of six or more.
Ambiance: Casual. Pretty spacious and clean, including the ingredient + sauce bar.
Parking: Ample parking, but located in a relatively busy/ high-traffic plaza, so parking could take a minute, during peak hours.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Pelicana is the OG of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) boom in Korea. It faces stiff competition along South street in Artesia, from Dave's, Raising Cane, Chik FilA, Jollibee, Popeyes, McDonald's, and bbq.
I ordered the half chicken, original with Smokey hot sauce. The chicken is not as juicy as Jollibee or bbq, the sweet yet hot sauce, however, is sticky good. It comes with pickled radish / chicken-mu to cut through the grease and spice. It's good to enjoy it with a glass of cold beer.”

“The service was good. They turned on mls soccer & ufc on tv. And most importantly, the food was the best. They’ve asked if the side dishes were wish to refill, and they have checked if we were satisfied with anything.”

“hey! so i’ve been going to this coffee shop a lot since i don’t know when, and i thought it was my duty now to leave a review. the people who work here are amazing first of all. i once accidentally bought the wrong matcha tin and they only charged me the difference for the one i wanted, instead of having to pay a ton for a new tin. the drinks here are great, especially the matcha which is nice cuz not every place can make a good matcha. also a great atmosphere and i see people getting work done here all the time. definitely recommend, coming from a regular!”
“Found a treasure. This place is 10/10. By far the best kbbq place I've been too. The employees are so welcoming and sweet. I love the ability to order by phone, such a cool thing. It's so convenient and efficient. Everything is top notch. I live in the Antelope Valley, but you best believe I'm stopping every single time I go down to Artesia”
“The food was tasty but there were some disappointments- we asked very clearly for very spicy and I made it clear that my wife is from Thailand and we are both accustomed to eating extremely spicy food. The food was not very spicy at all. I was disappointed by the lack of condiments and chutneys and also disappointed they brought so much bread at once and never offered fresh, so it was no longer warm and crispy by the time we finished. These are things I would overlook at a budget restaurant but this isn’t a budget restaurant. The food was good but I don’t think we’ll be back”
“Despite always going here during the lunch rush with a line out the drive-through window, service has always been extremely quick and kind. The one time it wasn’t as quick was because they had to restock on their ham and Brie sandwiches (which I get because they’re a cheap and easy lunch), but I was offered a free strawberry croissant for the wait! My usual order, two ham and Brie and a large taro milk tea with boba, tops out at $14.30. Definitely worth the money, especially if you have the rewards app”
“Came here for a dinner take out and ordered the Combo #6: Special Sisig (5/5) and Combo #1: Roasted chicken / Lechon Manok + Fried Pork Belly / Lechon Kawali (5/5). They ran out of the BBQ stick at 7pm, so I settled for the Kawali instead. Definitely beat my expectations, it's mostly a take out place, although they do have 2 benches outside next to a busy street.
Venture out of the restaurants and food you're accustomed to, and in this case you'll be rewarded with good chow. The lady is friendly and help pick what you order.”
“I’m a lifelong fan of the original location in Eagle Rock and we just did the drive to try out the current location, and were delighted! The Pizza is as amazing as I remembered it! Thanks for keeping Julio’s Pizza alive and well! We will be back!”

“BETWEEN THE REVIEWS w/ Rodney S
Q) So, Rodney, where did you go for lunch?
A) To Pak.
Q) 2pac?! The rapper?!
A) No, to Pak. I went to Pak Halal in Artesia.
Q) Oh, I see. Was this your first time visiting?
A) Yes, Rodney. A few Muslim gym buddies o' mine kept recommending Pak Halal, so of course I had to give the place a shot.
Q) What did you order?
A) Being my first time, I gave the Special Dishes display a thorough perusing.
Knowing I wanted a beef or mutton entree, after much thought & deliberation, I went all in on Pak Halal's Beef Nihari.
Q) Rodney, how was the Beef Nihari?
A) Spiced tender beef, swimming in flavorful broth. I enjoyed the Beef Nihari. I prefer a solid amount of fat to meat, and the Beef Nihari had just what I was looking for. Ample portions, with enough to fill up on. Speaking of filling up, the ginormous Garlic Naan provided a lot of garlicky carbs, made all the more better when soaking up with the Beef Nihari broth
Q) How was the service, and what are the seating arrangements?
A) Rodney, the service was good. The wait wasn't unreasonable. Being a small deli, there is a table or two inside & outside. Pak Halal is more an order ahead, grab n' go eatery. The railing outside Pak Halal acts as a standing communal table, in which I used to dine on my meal.
Q) Rodney, would you recommend Pak Halal?
A) Absolutely, Rodney! The food was great at Pak Halal, and when I'm in a hurry and not looking for a sit-down restaurant experience, I know I can head over to Pak Halal and order something to go, or enjoy a quick meal on the railing, before life's troubles beckon me, elsewhere”
“Five stars. I’m obsessed with this place! Sonora is my default when I want Mexican food that actually tastes like home. I end up there way too often because nothing else hits the same. Had them cater my baby shower last May and I’m still getting texts about it. Ordered a bunch of plates and there was literally nothing left at the end. People were scraping the trays. The asada was tender, rice wasn’t mushy, and the salsas got finished fast. Every time I go I tell myself I’ll try something new, but I always order the same thing because it’s that good. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. The asada burrito at Sonora is the one to order. Steak is grilled right, not dry, and they pack it with rice, beans, and salsa without it turning into a soggy mess. Tortilla holds up all the way to the last bite. I’ve tried burritos all over the city and this one actually tastes like someone cared making it. Fast service too. Was in and out in 10 minutes on my lunch break. If you only try one thing here, make it the asada burrito. You won’t regret it.”
“Not the fanciest boba shop you could go to, but it's a Quickly, you'll get a good deal on some good food and drinks. The inside is actually decent with tables to study or do work. The people are nice. I love getting the popcorn chicken here, you get a giant bag and it's always hot and crispy.”

“Love the authenticity of this place! Definitely would recommend to everyone! Bring a group and enjoy the experience of authentic korean cuisine. Daniel is legit! He really brings out the light in this place and his positivity and passion is astounding!”
“We want to thank Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the entire Rasraj team for being amazing caterers for our wedding day and reception! Hemal, Hetal, and Saumil worked with us months in advance to create an amazing all-day wedding menu that was unique, delicious, and incredibly creative. They walked us through numerous options and ideas during our tasting with our family and were extremely professional and on top of things on the big day.
The food was absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the dishes, and we even had family from India commenting that some of the entrees were the best they had ever had. The fun presentations, like drinks and appetizers served pre-ceremony, were a big hit and added a special touch to the event.
Rasraj was fully prepared with all the equipment and supplies and arrived on time, ensuring that no one went hungry. The service was seamless, and their attention to detail was impressive. If you’re looking for amazing catering for your wedding or event, look no further than Rasraj! Thanks so much, Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the Rasraj team!”
“The place is nice and clean with really kind waiters and waitresses. the food is amazing and has a very nice veriaty of sushi, sashimi, and apparisers and sides. I would definitely recommend the ramen and takoyaki. would recommend to any one who likes sushi”
“My favorite place to get soondubu! Been coming here for the last 2 years. Our server Julie really makes us feel welcomed and we love coming back for the good food and good service!”

“We were on a trip to LA and really wanted to have a proper South Indian food for lunch. We chose this place based on the reviews. We dined on a weekday noon. It was not very busy. “It's been a minute since I had Dave's, and they recently launched a collab with the animated series X-Men '97. I had to get the special X-Men Meal, which came with a cool mini-figure of an X-Men character. This location offers dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru ordering.
I've always liked the food here, and they've been consistent. The chicken slider I got with my meal was delicious, and just the right amount of heat for a medium level. I do like spicy food, so I may go hot next visit. The chicken tender was juicy and flavorful. The seasoned fries were freshly made, crispy, and hot, as well. For vegetarians, they offer a few items such as cauliflower sliders, mozzarella planks, and more.
I also got a regular fountain drink, which wasn't part of the X-Men Meal. Along with fountain drinks and iced teas, there were also bottled drinks available for purchase behind the cashier.
I dined in for lunch (before noon); it wasn't too busy, and I received my order fairly quickly. After I finished my meal, more customers started coming. There were no more seats for more guests to dine in. The dining area was clean, but only a few tables were available inside, and a few outside (without shade). The umbrellas weren't out the time I visited.
When not packed, the atmosphere is chill, and the art on the walls and ceiling adds a trendy, casual vibe. I think a few more tables could have fit in the dining area, but overall a pleasant experience recently.

“Went to get a take out butter chicken pizza. When I got home I was amazed how much toppings they added to the pizza. The whole pizza was filled with chicken! They don't skimp on thier meats! The pizza was delicious and my family loved it. It has that good curry spice to the pizza. One of the best indian pizzas I had recently. Keep up the good work, you gained a new repeating customer!”
“I ordered the Dirty Nutty, their signature coffee, and it was absolutely delicious! The coffee was rich, smooth, and creamy without being overly sweet. The peanut butter spread around the rim of the cup, topped with crushed peanuts, was such a unique touch and added so much flavor to every sip. You can really tell they put thought into the presentation and taste. I’ll definitely be coming back to order it again!”
“We ordered BZ cake and Yema Cake for the first time today. Ordering was seamless as well as pick up. We got the "not to share" sizes and they are the perfect size and reasonably priced. The BZ cake is bomb! So delicious! The Yema Cake has the softest and fluffiest sponge cake we've ever tasted in a yema cake (and we've had several from various places!). Packaging is classy. We picked up at their Long Beach location and it's a nice/clean neighborhood. Would order again in the future!”
“Formerly Changan Kitchen, Yummy Noodle Kitchen seems to retain the same menu, for the most part. And, like Changan Kitchen, has $9.99 Mon - Fri Lunch Specials 11am - 4pm. I've enjoyed Changan's inexpensive lunch specials plenty of times, and was curious how Yummy Noodle Kitchen's compares.
Sichuan Beef Lunch Special (medium heat)-
A tad salty, and I have a solid tolerance to salt. Although, perhaps requesting medium heat meant adding extra fermented chili bean paste, thus a bit too salty. The Sichuan Beef Lunch Special had a fair amount of beef, and a heaping portion of onions. $9.99 is a reasonable price for the amount of food given, and provided a satisfying hot meal.
The cashier was friendly & helpful with recommendations. Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a fast casual eatery, located inside 99 Ranch Market. Seating is shared with the in-house to go cafeteria.
For $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a solid food option. How does it compare with the former tenant? From my recollection, Changan Kitchen had more generous portions, including more rice. Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are paired with a small bowl of rice. However, it's been a year or two since Changan Kitchen was open, and prices have skyrocketed to egregious levels, for many things. So, keeping prices to a reasonable $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are an affordable meal option, which I will come back for, whenever I crave Chinese food.”
