“This place is AMAZING! The food is delicious and reasonably priced (and plenty to take home), the atmosphere is cool and the drinks are cheap! But the real stand-out is the staff - they are super nice and are working really hard to make sure everyone feels welcome. My new favorite place in LA!!”
“I've been here a few times over the last couple of months, and it's been consistently great. It gets busy - come early during weekend!”
“The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing lunch.😇”

“This place is simply fantastic. I tried several of the teas (get it with honey) and each was excellent. Service was very friendly and helpful - these are good people running an uplifting business.
There's plenty of space to work and the Wifi is excellent. Not every table has plugs but there are still enough plugs so no issues at all. Parking is fine - I think it could get tight at some times of the day but street parking would not be an issue at all. If you want a place to work with excellent coffee and tea, come here.”

“Chicken wontons and the spicy beef noodle are pretty popular here. It's Northern style noodles so it's not the same as Taiwanese beef noodle in case that's what you're lol for. Good location with bunch of other great food choices. Overall not bad for a noodle stop.”

“Ok, this is now my favorite boba tea place. The Ube Coconut milk is insanely good, even at 30% sugar level. They did not have purple rice so I substituted agar, which is so good. I also got an order of unsweetened jasmine tea and double agar. The price is right and the taste is to beat.
5/25/26: Ordered the Avocado on Mango at 30% sugar today, not the best. I'll stick with the Ube Coconut.”
“I got the Tikka masala pizza and garden salad as takeout and everything was delicious. It was some of the best pizza I've ever had and the salad was a larger portion than I was expecting for $8. I arrived about a minute before the order was estimated to be done and I had to wait about two minutes before it was ready. I can't wait to go back and try everything else.”
“Shepherd’s Pie & fish & chips are amazing! The drink & service was awesome! I can’t wait to go back!”
“YGF Malatang in Artesia is basically a choose-your-own-adventure for people whose love language is soup. You grab a bowl, go a little feral in front of the ingredient wall, and emerge with the exact spicy, slurpable masterpiece your heart desires. The selection is dangerously good, with everything from fresh greens and noodles to all the savory add-ins that make you start rationalizing a second bowl before you’ve even paid. Once it all comes together, the broth is rich, deeply flavorful, and wonderfully tingly in that classic mala way that says, “yes, your lips are numb, and yes, you’re very happy about it.” On top of that, the place is clean, bright, and efficient, so the whole experience feels less like chaos and more like a very delicious personal victory!”

“Decided to try this place out . I had pre-ordered ahead of time for pick up. Ordering Platform was a breeze and easy to navigate. I got the island beef ribs and the beef bowl. I was suprised at how many ribs you get and the amount of meat on it for only 18 bucks! It was plastic wrapped down so the package wouldnt leak which was helpful cuz I hate when my food leaks. The flavor of the meat was salty and greasy and that is just how i like my meat to taste. I was impressed. I spent a total of $30 bucks for dinner for myself and my honey. Location was easy to get into and parking was a abundant .”
“We went for the first time today and boy was it delicious! I had the brisket bowl my husband had the 405 sandwich and we shared the brisket loaded fries, it was all delicious there was nothing left! Cudos to the person that is smoking the meats in Artesia location and the staff😊”
“Love all the bopomofo cafes, I have to go every time I visit SoCal and every friend / family member Ive brought loves it, they use the freshest ingredients and have cool seasonal items like a scallion pancake wrapped chicken supreme wrap, guava matcha. You cant go wrong with the pineapple chicken sandwich, the strawberry corn drink, the shrimp walnut sandwich, etc. I love this place so much, the chicken is always very juicy. The employees are so nice and this place has wifi and a nice work space. Its also nice for dates and has a chill vibe (saw some people having their first dates here)”
“Always busy. Order before 9 but server kind enough to let us know in nice way. Grill, pho, rice all good. Lot is small and sometimes hard to park. Otherwise all good. Solid service. Clean restrooms. Haven’t been back for 8 years and glad it’s still here post pandemic.”
“Bhimas is a vegetarian option restaurant that is one of a kind in Artesia. Food is 5 stars here. Always the best Gobi Manchurian in Artesia. Service is always timely, respectful and smooth. The menu variety is nice, the Indochinese food option can beat taste and quality of many of the Indochinese specific restaurants in the area.”
“This was a surprise discovery and we are so happy to know this is here! Food is quick, well presented and delcious. The green onion pancake is excellent - thin, flaky and great flavor. Prices are reasonable. Friendly service. We had both the oolong and chrysanthemum teas and they are refreshing. There is indoor seating (about 5 tables). Authentic Taiwanese food.”
“I come here once a month to stock up on Indian food. The frozen curries are enough for 2 or 3 meals each with rice. the samosas are great and the lentil soup or dal is great for protein! I'll also buy a masala Dosa or idli's to eat with a mango lassie before going home. It's a great deal!”
“I ordered crispy pata the other day and when I got home the crispy pata was over fried that even the bone is burned. Very overcooked so it is very disappointing!”

“Highly recommend this restaurant for quality Indian food. Fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and excellent hospitality. Definitely one of the best dining experiences around.”
“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions. I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and I have always left satisfied.”
“Fluffy eggs, delicious golden toast, and toppings to match. These items are what makes Eggtuck a surprisingly little breakfast delight.
Secret: I hated eggs growing up. I learned to eat them, and even enjoy them for some of their health benefits - hello protein - but I will say if I had early exposure to eggtuck eggs, it might have been harder to hate them!
Got a very filling bacon and egg sandwich - please note you will need many napkins - and iced chicory coffee. Pleasant staff and management. Parking in lot, not too bad on a Saturday afternoon. Enjoy!”
“Total hole in the wall, mom and pop shop. Portions are large and are very tasty. Add that extra chili oil if you dare. Had the Ma Po tofu, filet fish with preserved pickled soup noodle and chili oil wontons. They speak limited English so don't roll in here thinking you are going to custom order or have them explain the menu ingredients and where they are from. Usually not busy weekday lunches, though your food might take some time to come out since there is only one guy back there cooking, so relax and drink some jasmine tea.”
“Sambar and chutneys were excellent. I was craving something spicy and andra kara masala dosa hit the spot very well. I also liked how it didn't felt too greasy or had an overwhelming buttery taste. However, the dosa came out soft and pale. It would have been a perfect meal if they didn't undercook the dosa.”
“Great spot for soondae lovers. The soondae hot pot comes loaded with pork belly, beef, intestines and veggies, and the broth gets richer as it cooks. I liked dipping the soondae in shrimp paste for extra flavor. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. Would definitely come back.”
“A friend recommended this spot since I’m a huge fan of Korean BBQ, and it did not disappoint. The meat quality was top-notch and everything tasted amazing. What really stood out, though, was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Great food, great vibes. I’ll definitely be back!”

“New, clean and food tastes excellent!
Location of this place is amazing. Quite a small space to dine in but fits in a group of 2-3 perfectly. Best would be to take out.
Pizza was amazing. We tried vegetarian options of Peppy and cheese makhani pizza (with additional paneer). Size and price of the pizza were worth it.
Only point to note was, the service could have been faster. The cashier himself had to bake the pizza. However, he did a great job when the pizza was served.
Overall must try place especially for vegetarian options.”
“I’m a lifelong fan of the original location in Eagle Rock and we just did the drive to try out the current location, and were delighted! The Pizza is as amazing as I remembered it! Thanks for keeping Julio’s Pizza alive and well! We will be back!”

“BETWEEN THE REVIEWS w/ Rodney S
Q) So, Rodney, where did you go for lunch?
A) To Pak.
Q) 2pac?! The rapper?!
A) No, to Pak. I went to Pak Halal in Artesia.
Q) Oh, I see. Was this your first time visiting?
A) Yes, Rodney. A few Muslim gym buddies o' mine kept recommending Pak Halal, so of course I had to give the place a shot.
Q) What did you order?
A) Being my first time, I gave the Special Dishes display a thorough perusing.
Knowing I wanted a beef or mutton entree, after much thought & deliberation, I went all in on Pak Halal's Beef Nihari.
Q) Rodney, how was the Beef Nihari?
A) Spiced tender beef, swimming in flavorful broth. I enjoyed the Beef Nihari. I prefer a solid amount of fat to meat, and the Beef Nihari had just what I was looking for. Ample portions, with enough to fill up on. Speaking of filling up, the ginormous Garlic Naan provided a lot of garlicky carbs, made all the more better when soaking up with the Beef Nihari broth
Q) How was the service, and what are the seating arrangements?
A) Rodney, the service was good. The wait wasn't unreasonable. Being a small deli, there is a table or two inside & outside. Pak Halal is more an order ahead, grab n' go eatery. The railing outside Pak Halal acts as a standing communal table, in which I used to dine on my meal.
Q) Rodney, would you recommend Pak Halal?
A) Absolutely, Rodney! The food was great at Pak Halal, and when I'm in a hurry and not looking for a sit-down restaurant experience, I know I can head over to Pak Halal and order something to go, or enjoy a quick meal on the railing, before life's troubles beckon me, elsewhere”
“Highly recommended by another fellow Elite Yelper so we decided to check it out. We had a good experience, both food and service were very good.
We started with Chicken satay and the meat was very tender and tasty.
Pineapple fried rice was a very generous portion (not served on a pineapple) and very good. You can taste the fire power on the fried rice that you can’t make at home.
Green curry with beef is tasty, but probably better to pair with shrimp or chicken or tofu.
The seafood hotpot was slightly more sour than what I’d like (this is normal and expected as my stomach can’t tolerate acid very well, and mentioned ahead of time), they gladly took it in and mild it down for us. It came out a bit later and it was delicious.
Service was excellent, it was pretty busy with all the tables taken, everyone was courteous, caring, and helpful.”
“My favorite place to get soondubu! Been coming here for the last 2 years. Our server Julie really makes us feel welcomed and we love coming back for the good food and good service!”
“Seoul Belly is a great spot for gopchang and daechang. I arrived before dinner time 내 no wait. The meat was flavorful and nicely grilled, and the fried rice at the end was amazing. So delicious and very satisfying”
“We want to thank Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the entire Rasraj team for being amazing caterers for our wedding day and reception! Hemal, Hetal, and Saumil worked with us months in advance to create an amazing all-day wedding menu that was unique, delicious, and incredibly creative. They walked us through numerous options and ideas during our tasting with our family and were extremely professional and on top of things on the big day.
The food was absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the dishes, and we even had family from India commenting that some of the entrees were the best they had ever had. The fun presentations, like drinks and appetizers served pre-ceremony, were a big hit and added a special touch to the event.
Rasraj was fully prepared with all the equipment and supplies and arrived on time, ensuring that no one went hungry. The service was seamless, and their attention to detail was impressive. If you’re looking for amazing catering for your wedding or event, look no further than Rasraj! Thanks so much, Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the Rasraj team!”

“Tried Ngon Yummy for the first time and since we entered, the workers are SOOOO FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING! And so nice to chat with. I tried this place with my family and we enjoyed the service, atmosphere, and food — I forgot to take pictures but we highly recommend their grilled beef with rice plate. We also ordered calamari, chicken wings, and their seafood stir fry but we liked the grilled beef the most. I think they are also affordable which is nice! I also had their green thai tea.
Thank you very much to the workers, especially the owner (I think he is the owner - male, wearing jeans usually — super friendly and genuine) and Ahn (blonde highlights) — Ahn is so funny and friendly too, very welcoming. You guys are great - thank you 😊🤍”

“No frills, hole-in-the-wall type restaurant serving up delicious food.
The service is what you’d expect for an Asian restaurant that has the food to back up the casual energy. Nobody is greeting you with a fake facade, but I ordered my Jajang mien black bean noodles, and I was given a little side of kimchi and pickled radish and some hot tea. I ate in peace and enjoyed my meal completely. Can’t wait to go back and have another bowl or try their sweet and sour pork.”
“The place is nice and clean with really kind waiters and waitresses. the food is amazing and has a very nice veriaty of sushi, sashimi, and apparisers and sides. I would definitely recommend the ramen and takoyaki. would recommend to any one who likes sushi”
“The food was tasty but there were some disappointments- we asked very clearly for very spicy and I made it clear that my wife is from Thailand and we are both accustomed to eating extremely spicy food. The food was not very spicy at all. I was disappointed by the lack of condiments and chutneys and also disappointed they brought so much bread at once and never offered fresh, so it was no longer warm and crispy by the time we finished. These are things I would overlook at a budget restaurant but this isn’t a budget restaurant. The food was good but I don’t think we’ll be back”

“the sweet older woman who works here and who i presume is the owner is SO SWEET. her food is delicious, homestyle, and HUGE portions!! definitely worth the price. her energy is so warm, kind, and fun!! she asked if i spoke spanish and then proceeded to do her best to say thank you to us when picked up our food 🥰 i did my best to say thank you in korean to her and i will be coming back for sure to get food to go!! if u still eat out at restaurants then make sure to pay her a visit inside for a personal and sweet experience!!”
“Strictly CASH only.
Ordered a custom full sheet cake with mango filling and fruit topping.
Quick service.
Picking up for next week - NO DELIVERY service.
Quiet inside and even quieter persons at the register.
Lots of parking in the lot.
Recommend Tres Leches cake, available individually packaged. Also cream puff and cheesecake that looks more like a cupcake style.
They used to carry a creme brulee or vanilla custard type of dessert - extremely delicious, not too sweet.”
“Despite always going here during the lunch rush with a line out the drive-through window, service has always been extremely quick and kind. The one time it wasn’t as quick was because they had to restock on their ham and Brie sandwiches (which I get because they’re a cheap and easy lunch), but I was offered a free strawberry croissant for the wait! My usual order, two ham and Brie and a large taro milk tea with boba, tops out at $14.30. Definitely worth the money, especially if you have the rewards app”
“We went for the Enchilada special on Thursday. The food was great. Service was great. Very tasty and fresh. I say that because we went to another Mexican spot that just opened and it was the opposite, no taste. Right here in the City of Artesia, Pioneer blvd between Artesia and 183rd.”
“Gangnam Kimbob has 20 different kinds of kimbob to choose from! They have tuna, pork cutlet, shrimp tempura kimbob and more
?? We ordered
- bimbim kimbob ( spicy mix with bulgogi & veggies )
- pork belly with veggies kimbob
- cheese rice cake
- fish cake soup
It’s a fast - grab & go spot for some delicious kimbob take out :) price range is reasonable - around $10 for a pack of kimbob
Parking: It’s free parking lot but busy weekend- can street park”
“Not the fanciest boba shop you could go to, but it's a Quickly, you'll get a good deal on some good food and drinks. The inside is actually decent with tables to study or do work. The people are nice. I love getting the popcorn chicken here, you get a giant bag and it's always hot and crispy.”
“Environment ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Casual. Service was on the slower side—food took a while to come out.
Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
• Codfish Soup ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very flavorful and satisfying.
• Banchan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The side dishes were excellent—fresh, well-seasoned, and a great complement to the meal.
Overall Thoughts
A very authentic Korean spot with strong flavors.
Will I come back?
Yes.”

“Phenomenal food and one of the biggest dosa selections I’ve seen. Each table gets 5 chutneys with unlimited chutney and sambhar — all absolutely delicious.
We got the Benne Podi Masala Dosa and Podi Masala Dosa, and the portions were HUGE — easily shareable for 2 people. Crispy dosas with generous filling and amazing flavor. Recommend getting the masala on the side since they give a lot. Easily some of the best dosas, chutneys, and sambhar we’ve had in a long long time. You can customize the podi you want from the 7-8 options they have, and you can also choose your dosa to be cooked in Ghee or Butter. Unassuming from the outside, but a total flavor bomb inside.
Service - taking away 1 star for it - Came on Mother’s Day weekend around 12:30 PM on a Saturday — about a 10–15 min wait and seating is cramped. Service started slow since only one person was taking orders, and she was not interested in explaining any of the dishes or differences in dishes/suggestions - which is frustrating because the menu is overwhelming huge and you get 4-5 different menus. The rest of the staff was Spanish speaking and 0 clue about the menu. otherwise, the food came out quickly after ordering and was worth the wait and long drive.”
“Bhimas is a vegetarian option restaurant that is one of a kind in Artesia. Food is 5 stars here. Always the best Gobi Manchurian in Artesia. Service is always timely, respectful and smooth. “Bake more cookies, u run out too early, just bake an extra sheet or two of choc chip and lemon. I want to give u my money and I cant... its rediculous... I cant be the only one who asks if you have more either. They are pretty pricey too, so why turn down more money? Also, the salt in the cream scone is too much, i dont think scones need salt AT ALL, but if ur gonna do it maybe do half or even less than half and really mix it well... anyway, ur my favorite cookie spot around, and im just pissed I never get out early enough to get what I want. I get angry even thinking if I want a cookie cus I know ur gonna be sold out, so I dont even wanna find out half the time. K have a good day.”
“I tried their signature drink and really appreciated that I could adjust the level of sweetness to my preference.
However, the café is quite small and doesn’t offer much seating, so it may not be the best place for long study sessions. It seems more suitable for a quick visit—like most people do—stopping by to grab a drink to go rather than staying for an extended time.”
“We ordered BZ cake and Yema Cake for the first time today. Ordering was seamless as well as pick up. We got the "not to share" sizes and they are the perfect size and reasonably priced. The BZ cake is bomb! So delicious! The Yema Cake has the softest and fluffiest sponge cake we've ever tasted in a yema cake (and we've had several from various places!). Packaging is classy. We picked up at their Long Beach location and it's a nice/clean neighborhood. Would order again in the future!”
“Formerly Changan Kitchen, Yummy Noodle Kitchen seems to retain the same menu, for the most part. And, like Changan Kitchen, has $9.99 Mon - Fri Lunch Specials 11am - 4pm. I've enjoyed Changan's inexpensive lunch specials plenty of times, and was curious how Yummy Noodle Kitchen's compares.
Sichuan Beef Lunch Special (medium heat)-
A tad salty, and I have a solid tolerance to salt. Although, perhaps requesting medium heat meant adding extra fermented chili bean paste, thus a bit too salty. The Sichuan Beef Lunch Special had a fair amount of beef, and a heaping portion of onions. $9.99 is a reasonable price for the amount of food given, and provided a satisfying hot meal.
The cashier was friendly & helpful with recommendations. Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a fast casual eatery, located inside 99 Ranch Market. Seating is shared with the in-house to go cafeteria.
For $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a solid food option. How does it compare with the former tenant? From my recollection, Changan Kitchen had more generous portions, including more rice. Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are paired with a small bowl of rice. However, it's been a year or two since Changan Kitchen was open, and prices have skyrocketed to egregious levels, for many things. So, keeping prices to a reasonable $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are an affordable meal option, which I will come back for, whenever I crave Chinese food.”
