“Legit Taiwanese food! Had the Chinese sausage appetizer (served with slices of raw garlic - YUM), shrimp omelette (with the perfect gooey consistency), braised pork belly rice, and Taiwanese sausage fried rice “ketchup style”. 2 of our dishes also came with soup, and those were yummy as well. I haven’t had a lot of these foods since being in Taiwan years ago, and these definitely satisfied the craving. Will be back to try the Teppan sizzling steak!“
“I met my friend here for lunch as it is one of his go-to places for Tawainese/Chinese homestyle food. He ordered us a good amount of things to try - including the Three Cups Chicken, Stinky Tofu, pork spare ribs, Tawainese sausage and buns, and veggies. We had plenty to eat and everything was delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with the food here.“
“Easy ordering online or by a phone call. Quick pick up process, convenient parking space. But the food is the primary reason for me to go back to this joint. They have the best popcorn chicken in Cerritos. Of course their ground beef meal and pork belly stew meal are superb as well.“
“I never knew this place existed, I have been living in Cerritos for 10 years and only heard about this place from my sister just recently. I came here and ordered their popcorn chicken, fried squid balls, jasmine milk tea and hot grass jelly. Thumbs up for the hot grass jelly and popcorn chicken but the others were OK. Their medium spice level is very spicy. Keep that in mind. The jasmine milk tea tastes diluted and the boba was not good. What I like about this place is the pricing. Their drinks are the cheapest of all boba shops and snacks are reasonably priced.“
“As a fervent lover of hotpot cuisine, I had the pleasure of dining at boiling point hotpot recently, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, the aroma of simmering broth and fresh ingredients enveloped me, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience.“
“Everything about the tea here is super high quality. I got a hot oolong tea which came in a really nice cup with a fancy lid that you can re-seal.The flavor of the tea was amazing and each sip was really flavorful. The machine they use to make this tea must be patented or at least really high end. One of the best teas I've had.“
“Holy cow. This place has the most amazing food. We ordered the soup dumplings and ended up getting a second order because they were so delicious. My kids couldn’t get enough of the short rib Dan noodle. It was all so fresh, well prepared, and the service was top notch. Every person who helped us was incredibly friendly and kind. We already plan on coming back tomorrow!“
“After three visits here, I feel like I can give a good review of the menu. Cindy's Kitchen is a hole in the wall that only seats about 18 people so it looks like some regulars opt to order food to go. They have a wide variety of options from noodle dishes to stir fry dishes to rice bowl options so there's something for everyone. They also make/sell frozen XLB, wontons, buns and dumplings which I've not tried. Unfortunately, they don't sell XLB for dine in customers but they do offer dumplings and wontons. Beyond all this, they have many cold dishes at the deli counter and most of these are pretty good so they can compliment the stir fry dishes. As other have noted, they only have 1 person in the front of house so service may be slower. I think there's only 2 people in the kitchen. In my three dinner visits, I only saw one non-Chinese speaking table so I have no idea how well the waitress can communicate in English but there is English on the menu as well as on all the signs for the sides and frozen foods for sale. Parking lot isn't big but if you come for dinner, the other businesses may be closed which helps. Check out my pics including the menu.“
“This place is very interesting because you get the boba and the teas yourself, sort of like a frozen yogurt place. The soups at this location are also delicious, and we really enjoyed the visit to this spot.Parking: Parking is right in front of the restaurant.“
“A fun casual restaurant. I'd highly recommend trying one of the hot pots. It's massive with tons of stuff packed inside. Different vegetables, tofu, egg, meat, and more. So good! The plaza it's in also has a lot of great bakeries and boba and other spots.“
“Cha for tea is usually a 5 star restaurant, with amazing popcorn chicken and tasteful sauce. This visit, the chicken was not crispy as per usual and the sauce was less flavorful. A worker with a pink sweater and brown hair was a great server w/ a happy attitude. Overall disappointed with the quality of the chicken, but I will continue to come here as I have been over the past 4 years.“
“Stopped by while waiting for the Broth, since there were 134 parties ahead of us.This location was new for me. You can skip the line by order on the apps or by the kiosk. We got the fresh herbal milk tea with herbal jelly and eggs waffle. Love it“
“Really enjoyed this place. I wanted one of everything all at the same time. I opted for the Sirloin steak on a hot sizzling lava stone, so it never ever got cold. It's a little more fatty than I like, but it's still really good.“
“I recently visited Boiling Point and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Unlike other similar establishments, this Boiling Point location stood out to me in several ways. Firstly, I found the taste of the food to be superior, which made my dining experience even more enjoyable.Additionally, I appreciated that the waiting time was relatively short compared to what I've experienced at other places. This made the entire dining process more convenient and efficient. Most notably, I was satisfied to discover that I could order unlimited rice and receive double the amount of meat. This added value to my meal and left me feeling very satisfied with my dining experience.Overall, I highly recommend Boiling Point for its delicious food, short waiting times, and generous serving options. I will definitely be returning for more!“
“Their green tea drink is very refreshing when ordered just slightly sweet I like their shaved ice but just wish their fruits were a bit sweeter or more ripe. But overall, this is a good dessert place that is super close to my parents house so will frequent more often.“
“Boiling Point will always have a special place in my heart. One of the best franchises when it comes to doing hot pot by the pot correctly! My go-to is the Beef Hot Pot; however, recently, my parents wanted to try the Lamb Hot Pot the day we went! I have to say; that might have to be my new favorite. The broth for the lamb is much more flavorful and rich compared to the beef. Yet, if you like a cleaner taste, I do have to say that the beef is always a solid option. Each of the pot has their own set of items catered to what the company feels best matches. You have a choice from choosing a complementary rice or vermicelli. Lots of cabbage, mushroom, meats, tofu, and all sorts of goodness whenever eating any one of their pots. They have many varieties to choose from when it comes to picking out the best pot for you. House Special, Seafood & Tofu, Taiwanese Spicy (another personal favorite but is TERRIFYINGLY SPICY), etc., are some of the few from their wide range of selection. Add ons are also available! A tip for students is that if you are planning to eat within this month of September 2023, you can show a valid student ID and receive one free add-on (up to a $5 value). If you also go before 3:30 PM, you can receive a complementary green or black tea of your choice! Their boba is usually a hit or miss as well. Sometimes, it's HELLAA GOOD! And other times, it's not that good.. My go-to drink is their Milk Green Tea with Boba, but my friends often get their Hokkaido Milk Tea with Boba. For the service, I have to give a shoutout to our server, Khoa! He was really helpful when it came to my parents ordering since they are not English speakers. He even double-checked for us if there were extra green teas in the back from the morning, but there was not sadly. I know that a lot of people give this place a very low review when it comes to service, but I do believe some people do feel entitled when it comes to this place. Typically, on weekends, the wait does get pretty hefty. Therefore, people are angry with the speed of which they get seated. However, you have to kind of expect it from a popular place in OC. People should not be blaming the workers for how many people are dying to eat at their restaurant.“
“A small local business offering Taiwanese food. The interior is older and aged. The parking directly in front can be a problem but there is more parking offered further down into the shopping center. The staff is nice and friendly. We’ve been going here for years and I feel like perhaps they have a new chef because all the flavors seemed off in some way.The menu has a lot to offer so you are sure to find something you like.“
