“Comfort food!! Delicious variety of soups and garlic noodles! The garlic noodles were packed with flavor and the green sauce that came with it was AMAZING! I like my soup hot so it was nice to have it boiling and you’re able to request it to turn off at anytime. I also love the dipping sauces. Service was AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly and we even got some milk tea at the end of our meal??“

“So yummy! It was a rainy day today and this was perfect meal for this cold night. I tried the mild beef hot pot with rice and vermicelli. There were a good amount of fish cake, beef, and veggies mixed together. The soup broth here is very light and tasty! I also tried the winter melon juice here and it was incredible! My friend got the iced green tea and she thought it was very refreshing to have with the meal. Both drinks tasted flavorful and were not overly sweet. The staff here were also attentive and checked up on us frequently. They offered to give us more broth and water when they saw that we were almost running out. Just be cautious that the wait time for this restaurant might be a long since there were only about 4-6 tables in total.“

“You’ll appreciate this place if you like healthy version of Taiwanese food. My mom in her 70’s and other aunties all enjoyed the lighter flavor and the ingredients. Our favorite was the Blondie porridge with seafood. Instead of rice, they used oatmeal…which is high in dietary fiber and can lower cholesterol level. We also ordered the Asian truffle rice, that was yummy too especially with the Goji berries and kale. I will order even less salt next time. My kids absolutely enjoy the Matcha Azuki bean shake ice. I definitely would return and try other dishes.“

“This place exceeded all expectations! Our waiter was so well informed about menu items and was so helpful in helping us choose wisely. I can’t say enough about it! What an experience for a group of people in town for a meeting! Anytime I’m back in the area I will definitely make this place One of my must stop dining choices! “Everything about the tea here is super high quality. I got a hot oolong tea which came in a really nice cup with a fancy lid that you can re-seal.The flavor of the tea was amazing and each sip was really flavorful.The machine they use to make this tea must be patented or at least really high end. One of the best teas I've had.“

Had the Chinese sausage appetizer (served with slices of raw garlic - YUM), shrimp omelette (with the perfect gooey consistency), braised pork belly rice, and Taiwanese sausage fried rice “ketchup style”. 2 of our dishes also came with soup, and those were yummy as well. I haven’t had a lot of these foods since being in Taiwan years ago, and these definitely satisfied the craving. Will be back to try the Teppan sizzling steak!“

Nestled inconspicuously in a small food court, this unassuming sandwich shop turned out to be a delightful surprise. What initially piqued my interest were the rave Yelp reviews about their Taiwanese dishes, which seemed like an unexpected find in a deli-type sandwich shop. Intrigued, I decided to swing by one evening with my husband, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember. Run by a charming Taiwanese couple, First Sandwich exudes warmth and authenticity. You can tell it's a true mom and pop establishment, with over 15 years of dedication and love poured into every dish they serve. Sherry, one of the owners, even took the time to chat with my husband and I, and he was able to practice some of his mandarin with her, haha! Now, onto the food--let me just say, it exceeded all expectations. We opted for their Taiwanese beef noodle soup, and oh my, it took me back to my mom's home cooking! The broth had that unmistakable Taiwanese flavor, rich and deeply satisfying. But what truly won me over were the perfectly cooked noodles and homemade chili sauce, all served in cute home-style soup bowls that added an extra touch of comfort. The service was equally delightful, with the owners going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and satisfied. Needless to say, I'll be back to First Sandwich again and again. Whether you're a fan of Taiwanese cuisine or simply looking for a fantastic sandwich spot, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed!“

“Easy ordering online or by a phone call. Quick pick up process, convenient parking space. But the food is the primary reason for me to go back to this joint. They have the best popcorn chicken in Cerritos. Of course their ground beef meal and pork belly stew meal are superb as well.“

“I've been looking forward to trying bafang and it did not disappoint! For $13 you can get 6 potstickers and a nice sized bowl of noodles! Although none of the food blew me away I thought everything I had was tasty and was great quality for mall food (especially for the price). The potstickers had good flavor and went well with their sauces but they could be a bit more crispy. The noodles were really nice and chewy and had great sauces! Service was quick and we got our food in about 10 minutes. The worker was nice and explained their menu to us when we asked. Overall a great addition to brea mall and I would recommend people give it a try!“

“I went here because all the other ramen places I enjoy closed down. Was pleasantly surprised by how the food was. The service was good though I can’t say much because they weren’t there that long. The atmosphere was pretty calming and the music was a 7/10 in my opinion. Overall this place has good food, good service, and a good atmosphere.“

“We ordered takeouts of stewed pork and bbq pork sandwich. The stewed pork’s flavor was okay, but the lean part of the pork was not too tough. The bbq pork sandwich was very good and authentic. So this place averages a 3.5 star.Parking: Spaces are tight here.“

“Oh, I love this place! I always got the Mango Green Milk Tea, and always went! Once I moved to New Mexico (where I am now), I just can’t match the same. I loved the tea and if I come back for whatever reason, this will be the first place I go go when I arrive!“

“Man the glaze on top of the fresh baked bun was so speaking to the eye. Service was goood very helpful because they have so many items baked food and also hot food out the back which I went and got a Thai ice tea that was really good as well. Ambiance is very. Quiet for the most part. You could go there and get some work done and also have a chill conversation with a friend over food or a coffee. They also have really cool anime you can read as well.“

“Came to Mama Lus for the first time after golf. Their salt and spicy pork chops were delicious. The pea shoots were tasty and the chicken and corn soup hit the spot after a long afternoon on the golf course. The staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!“

“Really enjoyed this place. I wanted one of everything all at the same time. I opted for the Sirloin steak on a hot sizzling lava stone, so it never ever got cold. It's a little more fatty than I like, but it's still really good.“

“We ordered Shanghai style stir-fried noodles and Shanghai style pan-fried pork buns. I highly recommended these two dishes. Both of them taste super good. My husband and I really enjoyed the authentic tastes of Shanghai cuisine. Dish portion is big and price is reasonable.“

“The location has a nice ambiance and is relatively clean inside. The people working there were able to get two drinks done in 5 minutes or so and answered the questions I had regarding their sweetener levels and typical drinks quickly. We ordered a matcha milk tea and peach mango berry slushy. The slushy is very sweet at the default sweetness (if you enjoy fruity drinks with a lot of sugar this would be a good pick) and had actual chunks of the fruit in it, which is a fairly good feature. However, the matcha milk tea did not seem to have much matcha in it at all (notably lacking the flavor and color, giving off the impression of too much milk) and tasted something like a Hokkaido roasted milk tea rather than matcha. Despite this, their boba was very chewy and flavorful so I am giving it 4 stars for the other drink and the boba texture.“

“Passed this place so many times and never tried it. The service was great, really small little noodle place. Next time I will try the noodles but ordered the pork dumplings and pork potstickers also the scallion pancakes. All were really delicious, it took about 30 minutes to get the dumplings and potstickers though which was kinda of a long wait for nobody being there. But they were super friendly and kind, got a dr pepper for a drink. I would come back and try something else next time. 4 stars for cleanliness and for the great service but took too long so one star off. Have a beautiful day :) Aloha“

“Their green tea drink is very refreshing when ordered just slightly sweet I like their shaved ice but just wish their fruits were a bit sweeter or more ripe. But overall, this is a good dessert place that is super close to my parents house so will frequent more often.“

“This place was super intimidating to me. Such foreign concoctions for dessert and yet so delightful and fun! I got the Q Mochi milk shaved ice this time. Taro balls, melon, jelly, creamy vanilla ice cream, on shaved ice. Last time it was a bowl. Both really flavorful and unique. Funny how i feel healthy and light eating dessert. It's a casual place with walk up counter, and plenty of seating. I recommend for a sweet tooth yet light and enjoyable dessert.“
