“Local Restaurant, Budget-Friendly, and Old-School CuisineIt was my last meal in LA for this trip, and Cindy's was our final choice! In brief, Cindy's Kitchen offered delicious food at a budget-friendly price. The portions were generous, especially the Beef Noodle soup – it absolutely must-have. The side dishes were also excellent and served as good time-killers. It seems this place is taken care of by only one friendly Ta-Jie (Big Sister). So food may take a bit longer time than usual.“
“I recently visited Boiling Point and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Unlike other similar establishments, this Boiling Point location stood out to me in several ways. Firstly, I found the taste of the food to be superior, which made my dining experience even more enjoyable.Additionally, I appreciated that the waiting time was relatively short compared to what I've experienced at other places. This made the entire dining process more convenient and efficient. Most notably, I was satisfied to discover that I could order unlimited rice and receive double the amount of meat. This added value to my meal and left me feeling very satisfied with my dining experience.Overall, I highly recommend Boiling Point for its delicious food, short waiting times, and generous serving options. I will definitely be returning for more!“
“One of the few Taiwanese styled Chinese breakfast in town. The green onion cakes 蟹壳黄)is pretty good when it’s warm. We’ve coming up this pace for years and the quality has always been about the same; though the prices have gone up a lot over the last year or so.Vegetarian options: Most items are meatless, but many items contain eggs.Parking: Lots of spaces.“
“The hot red bean soup was served to us room temperature and not hot, but the egg waffle (matcha) and signature icy grass jelly with boba were on point and delicious. This place is much better than the chino hills location, which I’ll never return to again.“
“Vegan items have the extra challenge of tasting and looking like its non-vegan counterpart, and most don't hit the mark. I was hesitant to try vegan food, but I loved Green Green Trees! Expect fresh food that's true to Taiwanese flavors. I think it was the best Taiwanese bento I've tried in the 626 so far, since a lot of them tend to be greasy, cheap, and undercooked. Tried the lions mane mushroom bento, pudding, and the sweet and sour "chicken" bento. The chicken and mushrooms was really good! And although the vegetables were just steamed with minimal seasoning, the entrees were layered with flavor. I didn't mind-- I felt that it made the meal healthy and balanced. The pudding was also "eggy" and sweet. Altho the color looks a little different than most puddings, it's understandable since it is a vegan dessert (and it was good)! It's evident that the owner is passionate about healthy and delicious cooking. From the fork-tender food to the quality of ingredients used, Green Green Trees hits all the marks: generously nutritious, homely, and delicious meals that will ALSO impress your traditionalist immigrant parents. While the owner is retiring soon, I hope that the rebrand to this business goes well! 加油!“
“This place deserves 6 stars for all the categories. I was presently greeted numerous times by every server I passed and felt very welcomed. The service was fast friendly and very efficient. The food was excellent and made an instant impression on me. I know I'll be back soon.“
“"QQ's tea tastes so good." It's true that all the long names from Taiwan are imported, but fortunately they are all written normally in English??—⚠️You can’t taste it on site at this restaurant. Make no mistake.Ah, I suggest that it would be better to number the menu??️?Mi Ke Xia is coming soon “
“I waited five years to try this place once I had heard that Wong Fu opened it, and the wait was worth it. The Taiwanese spicy chicken sandwich blew my mind and my spirit, and the quality of the tapioca was amazing. I don’t even live here, but I will be coming back soon.“
“I think I am addicted to their iced green tea with boba. I have forgotten how much I love it until I got it recently at Yi Fang. Yi Fang is a Taiwanese Boba and Fruit Tea chain that recently opened an Arcadia location in the Burlington Coat Factory and Pavilion's shopping plaza. I am very happy that Yi Fang chose to open one here. Ever since I had their boba in Berkeley in 2019, I have been longing for an Yi Fang close by. Their boba is warm and chewy. If you don't want to wait, I recommend you order online first. There are happy hour promotions when the drinks are 15% when you order online. I haven't seen the promotions at the in store kiosk. They may be there too. The ambiance is clean and presents an old Taiwan vibe. There are no tables inside and only one bench to sit while you are waiting for your drinks So this is more of a grab and go place. I did see desserts on their menu and can't wait to try them next time!“
“Monday 12/4/23 Dinner at Earthern Restaurant in Hacienda Heights with my cousin. Good Chinese foods. One the the best jelly fish dish I’ve ever had; crunchy, sweet, salty, and flavorful paired with cucumbers. The shredded pork with bamboo shoots were savory with the crunch of the bamboo shoots paired it with perfectly. The restaurant has a nice and clean decor.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast“
