“It's been about 10+ years since I last visited this place. We don’t live nearby & over the past decade there have been so many new dining options. Today, I decided to come back & wow, they’ve completely upgraded the place & the new look is cleaner, modern, plus the service was friendly and great!
It’s an all you can try for milk tea and slushes, tons of flavors, icy cold , plus lots of variety of Taiwanese street food, shaved ice etc. Of course, I had to try the top 2 popular items: the stinky tofu & oyster pancake , dang,, they were legit! They gave you enough oyster in every bites.
We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back!“

“On the way home so stop by this place to try it out. So impressed by the Teapresso, the aroma of the shop, the act of brewing one cup at a time. Definitely worth the money! The cup is full of tea and boba, just light ice and perfect amount of sugar! Will come back whenever I’m in OC.“

“Mama Lu Dumpling House is truly a standout spot for dumpling lovers. It can be a little easy to miss from the outside since it’s tucked into a strip mall (near CVS and Meet Fresh), but once you find it, it’s absolutely worth it.
The handmade dumplings are consistently fresh and packed with flavor. The juicy pork and chive dumplings are always a favorite, and the xiao long bao come out perfectly steamed with rich, savory broth inside. Every bite tastes authentic and comforting. The noodle dishes bring that warm, homestyle flavor that makes you feel like you’re enjoying a meal in Shanghai.
The space itself is spacious and great for larger groups. The ambiance is simple and no-frills, but that just adds to its charm — the focus is clearly on the food. Service is attentive and efficient, even when the restaurant gets busy, and the staff is great about making recommendations.“

“I have visited JJ Bakery Irvine over a decade. I love their Traditional Taiwanese breads , pastries and sweets. Here are a few items that I would recommend (in pic order)
1. Egg Tart: I always purchase two egg tarts when I have the chance. But, it got sold out quickly.
2.Taro Pastry: Real taro paste, not too sweet. It is very delicious
3. Custard Bread: One of the traditional Taiwanese breads.
4. Scallion Bread: It is savory. Sometimes, I like savory breakfast.
5. Flan: Flan is located at the refrigerator near the entrance. It is dense instead of watery. I love it.
6. Almond Cookie:Perfect snack while I am watching Netflix.( It won’t last 20 minutes though)“

“Decent Taiwanese styled Chinese food located inside of the H Mart Plaza. It offers a wide range of dishes. It also has goose meat, which I used to love at this restaurant. They have now brought the goose dish back and I will try it on our next visit. On weekdays, it has a lunch special menu that offers a quick lunch at a reasonable price, including the Beef Noodle Soup. My rice noodle was fine, except it got a lot smaller than what I can remember. No thanks to inflation.“

“I’ve dined at this location multiple times and have noticed the food quality continues to improve. They serve truly authentic Shanghai cuisine with a focus on balanced, subtle flavors that linger long after the meal. My personal favorite is the Sheng Jian Bao (pan-fried dumplings); they have that perfect golden, crunchy bottom and a satisfying burst of hot soup inside. Service is efficient and practical—this isn't a place for frills, but it's the perfect spot to sit down and enjoy a high-quality, honest meal.“

“Boiling point was on point. Never a disappointing meal. The wait time for food was a little long, but worth the wait. I recommend the lamb. Parking is limited, so get here early. They take cash and card. Plenty of seating inside. Thank you for reading my review. Please follow me on google maps and check out the places I visit.“

“A welcome addition to the Downtown Disney District, this location maintains the high standards of the global brand while offering a sleek, modern atmosphere for park-goers and locals alike. Having visited three times now for both lunch and dinner, the experience remains impressively reliable.
The interior is a standout feature. It feels contemporary and bright, thanks to large windows that let in plenty of natural light. This spot boasts a generously sized waiting area, which is a necessity given the restaurant's popularity. The addition of a full bar also elevates the vibe, making it a great spot for a cocktail alongside your meal.
If you have been to other Din Tai Fung locations, the menu is identical to their other branches, and more importantly, the execution is consistent.
Xiao Long Bao: As expected, the skins are thin and the broth is savory. The flavors are exactly what you’d expect from the franchise—no surprises, just high-quality dumplings and noodles.
Even with the high volume of Disney crowds, the service remains professional and efficient.
It is great to have a dependable, world-class dumpling house right in the heart of the Disney resort area. Whether you are stopping in for a midday break or a full dinner, you can count on getting the same taste and quality found at any other location.
The do validate parking if you park at Disney downtown parking area.
Waitlist could be very long. I add my self to waitlist and there are 430 in front of me. I had my dinner at 10:30 pm.“
