“The food is good especially the coconut butter brick toast just ask for more of coconut butter and and beef stew has good flavor just smaller portions as with everything. It's hard to own a did business but they are still worth the visit. It's not like before the sitdown place but food is still good.“

“well it was the only open boba place and it was good (OMG was good, Dragon star was meh, Midori green was good if you like it sour, Pinky Pom was very good but too sweet) but look at this ice (3/4 full of ice, see picture) There was a bit less in the other drinks but still way too much.“

“It’s our first time going to a self serve boba place, pretty nifty idea for sure, execution was pretty good too. Had to wait a bit for the tapioca since it was still being made, but glad to have waited a few minutes for fresh ones, they were soft, tasty and chewy. Lots of seating and there are also savory treats that we weren’t able to try out.“

“Best bang for your Buck hotpot for only $18 per hotpot. Also have plenty of shaken beef item, street food like fish ball french fries, drink like milk tea Thai teas. Also try to go for hotpot during 12pm-5Pm because it only $15 per hotpot (happy hour).“

“Decent Taiwanese styled Chinese food located inside of the H Mart Plaza. It offers a wide range of dishes. It also has goose meat, which I used to love at this restaurant. They have now brought the goose dish back and I will try it on our next visit. On weekdays, it has a lunch special menu that offers a quick lunch at a reasonable price, including the Beef Noodle Soup. My rice noodle was fine, except it got a lot smaller than what I can remember. No thanks to inflation.“

The handmade dumplings are always fresh and bursting with flavor, especially the juicy pork and chive and xiao long bao that arrive perfectly steamed and full of delicious broth. The scallion pancakes are crispy and not too greasy, while the noodle dishes bring authentic, comforting flavors that make you feel like you're in the heart of Shanghai. The ambiance is no-frills, but it only adds to the charm, and the staff is attentive and efficient even during busy hours. If you’re craving authentic Chinese dumplings and noodles, Mama Lu is a must-visit!“

“The bakery serves classic chinese-style baked goods, such as pork floss buns or taro flaky pastry. Its a great place. This review is mostly to bring attention that the attached cafe has two updates:
1. it is open from 11 AM to 4 PM, and closed on wednesdays unlike the main bakery.
2. Starting 7/1/2024, the cafe will no longer serve meals.
This is really unfortunate since the meals were great, but it makes sense given the traffic was not high (theres a place in the same plaza that serves similar cuisine.)“

“The food here is AMAZING! I got the egg fried rice, spring rolls, pork xiao long bao, and the pork veggie buns. The pork veggie buns are definitely a family recipe or something because it was out of this world. Everything was very hot and definitely made to order. You can tell everything is made there, not pre-packaged. The sauces in the order complement everything super well. I will definitely be coming back.“

“I usually order from the Fantuan app. Today, I decided to order their Taiwanese breakfast again, which is really good and brings me back to my hometown, Taiwan. Their toast is substantial, and the BBQ pork rice, along with the old-fashioned black tea with soy milk, is delightful. I love their egg pancakes with tuna; it's very authentic. “I just had the Kung pao noodle soup. It was so unexpectedly delicious. I love things a little sweet. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, spiciest, vegetables and a fabulous broth. The staff are so friendly, they even offered to add broth so I could take home the remaining of my noodles. I love this place. I’m going to bring, my son here for sure. He loves Asian noodles!“

“I have been to many Boiling Point locations (in LA and OC) and I have to admit that this location is the best one so far in terms of space and service. This Boiling Point has a lot of tables so they can provide more and faster service than other locations. Our host is friendly and attentive ??. My party and I ordered their beef hot pot and Jin Tea butterfly pea flower lemonade & pink dragon (dragon fruit, lychee and oolong), and we enjoyed that combination a lot. I will definitely be back again in the near future! Keep up with the great service!

Dietary restrictions: A lot of garlic based sauces here and might have a lot of peanuts trace so be careful if you're allergic to those ingredients.

Parking: They have a shared parking lot with other businesses, not too difficult in finding a spot.

Wheelchair accessibility: Double-door entrance and plenty of spaces inside the restaurant.“

“You know that one restaurant you were eating at since you were little and still go to to this day? For me, it's Boiling Point and they've been around for 20 YEARS! (Wow, I've just aged myself, haven't I?)

I remember having to grab the sauces yourself at a little sauce cart at their OG Hacienda Heights location.

I have SO many memories here and so many favorites, but the 臭臭鍋 (Taiwanese stinky hot pot) will always have my heart.

Some things have changed, like their BRAND NEW drinks menu, but the taste is always just like how I remember it to be~
