There was a strand of hair when my food arrived so I let the waiter know and they handled it swiftly. The food was great too.
Solid spot for individual hot pot; portions are decent and broth has a nice kick without being too salty. I liked having my own little pot bubbling in front of me, felt cozy and kinda fun. Staff moved fast, everything came out pretty quick.
I tried the upgraded Scallion Gravy Rice this time, and it was just okay for me — nothing too special.
The new Bak Kut Teh soup was actually pretty good. There was a lot of meat on the bones, and the broth tasted really fresh and flavorful. The House Special is something I order pretty often and it’s one of their signature dishes. It does have a strong smell, but in a good way — kind of funky, but really tasty.
