The store is small with around 20 indoor seats and aesthetic design giving a chic and cozy feel. Flavor selection is pretty trendy IMO though limited.
We tried Vietnamese salted cream coffee (recently added to their menu), pandan avocado, durian, and matcha. I personally enjoyed all the flavors; just wished they have a stronger standalone avocado one.

We ordered jajang, sweet and sour chicken sauce on the side, walnut shrimp, salt & pepper pork and supposedly schezhuan beef but came out as beef broccoli. Didn't complain about the beef since it's freshly made. We love everything and portions are big. Atmosphere is super old.. hard to explain but clean and dingy at the same time. We will definitely come back if we're in the area. A must try.”

The restaurant itself smells pretty good once you walk in, and while the food tastes pretty good too, its taste doesn't seem to be on a par with its aroma. In other words, the smell is deceiving; make sure you know what you are ordering. The sides were pretty good and substantial. Beware: the Dawa Chicken tastes very sweet. Might recommend this place to another person, and might come back if I'm in the close area.

“Eat there only if you want to be treated like dirt. I am sick and tired of their way of treating their customers. They don't do reservations and their wait system is unforgiving and insane. 1. Long wait times like 1.5 hours 2. But with that long wait time, they only give you 10 minutes to "all be there" when they tell you table is ready. 3. That's not even the worst. They put a "wait time" estimate near their check in table. So you would think that is a solid guideline right? But no. The REAL wait time can swing a good 30 minutes both ways. Say they put "Current Wait time is 1.5 hours" you could get a call at 1 hour mark. And then they give you 10 minutes to get your party to be there. And they give you hell if your party can't make it like it's your fault that you don't have crystal ball to tell that your table will be ready in one hour’s time. I have tolerated it coz their food is actually really good. Meat quality is good etc etc. What broke the camels back today is. I checked in at 5:45 today. Wait time is 1.5 hours. So estimate sit time is 7:15 right? When I get the text that table is ready at 7:05 I thought all is awesome. AND THEN they told me that are actually having a staff party tonight and last call is at 8. That leaves my party less than an hour to do an AYCE dinner. I was furious. So I question them, “Why didn't you tell your customer that when they checked in?” "Well, we put the notice on the door. You didn't see it! So… 🤷🏻♀️” 1. There are a bunch of white and black notices all over the door and check in area. 2. And yes. My eye sight is not awesome. I didn't see it. But shouldn't it be THEIR JOB to let customer know VERBALLY when they check in that they are shifting the last call time an hour early? That’s basic decency. I wasted almost 2 hours there and by then it’s like lines all over the place for any place. I am never going back again for a restaurant that treats their customer like dirt so they can make money off me any more.”

The meat is soft and you can feel the broth has been well cooked that gives you the sweet and rich taste. 2. Stir Fried Squid (because I love squid!): very good. This dish can be eaten with rice (if you want to be full) or will paired good with a taste of Soju. The portions are big so don't over ordering or you will have some food to go. The food is a little plaint and there's salt to add (if you are a salty food fan) to assure you don't leave the broth behind. You will feel healthy as you leave the place. Will be great to have for hangover or when you are sick. I went on a weekend night for dinner and the restaurant was a little quiet. I think this place is most suitable for lunch. I haven't found this level of quality and expertise outside of VN so this was great. They're doing a Com Tam special for $10 and $12 probably to bring in new customers, but I would probably pay $20 and save myself a trip to VN (ha ha). “I used to buy the Jongga Kimchi (52.9 oz) from Costco. The flavor is actually pretty good, milder and not too sour but the jar is a bit too large for me.
Recently, I saw people in a Korean community group recommending Kimchi Nara, which is also available at H Mart, so I decided to try their smaller 32 oz size. Their kimchi is a bit more on the sour side compared to Jongga, but it works really well for cooking and I used it to stir-fry pork and it turned out delicious.
They also offer different size options at H Mart, which is great depending on how much you plan to use. Definitely a more flexible choice for different needs.”

I ordered the mango milk tea, teriyaki dumplings, and the pad see ew. Let me tell you, it was so good. I loved how aunty came out and said she recommended the dumplings and how it was her favorite. My taste buds melted. It was the perfect crunch and it was really savory. Great as an appetizer or an addition to your meal. The mango milk tea was lovely very refreshing and not too sweet it was like the perfect amount of sweetness . Last but not least the pad see ew. I destroyed it in less than 5 minutes. It was so good the flavors had married in your mouth the fusion the flavors it was delightful. It reminded me of my friends mothers cooking.
