“Mulnaengmyeon was much more delicious than nonnaengmyeon. I think it was closer to regular naengmyeon rather than Pyongyang naengmyeon. One order of naengmyeon (naengmyeon) costs almost $20, so I think it's a bit expensive, but since it comes with one sari, it's almost like 1.6 servings. The ribs were delicious, but the portion was surprisingly small. Even though it was a weekday evening, I waited for over an hour to get in. When you're feeling a bit hectic, there's a Yelp waiting line, so be sure to check it out and wait.”

“Didn't have to wait for a table on a Friday night for a party of two. I think if you're a larger party, you may have to wait. Got cha gio, pho tai chin, and a cafe sua da. The cha gio and cafe sua da was nothing special. Not the best I've had, but not bad at all. The star of the show was the broth of the pho. It was very tasty, with no overpowering notes from a singular spice. All the ingredients from the beef in the pho tai, to the vegetables served with the cha gio were very fresh.”

“Efficient service. The food was exceptional! I'm a fan of their garlic butter with peppercorn razor clams. Their flavors are outstanding! However, the lack of taste after consuming peppercorn for razor clam's garlic butter is noticeable. Recommend the peppercorn flavor if you appreciate spice and robust flavors. Pineapple fried rice paired well with seafood inside.Udon with shaken beef is another great option. For beverages, we opted for the kumquat with coconut, which is refreshing. The prices are moderate but medium in size.”

“This place is always crowded!! Came here recently Sunday afternoon, right when the bar opened at 4pm so we got a table in the bar area to eat/drink and watch the football games. There’s always a wait for a table at the restaurant, so plan accordingly, especially if you go for dinner.They have the big beer towers if your group wants to share. Full bar with lots of alcohol/cocktail options. Great food dishes were: Ốc Hến Bánh Đa (baby clams and escargot with rice crackers), Ốc Len Xào Dừa (coconut escargot), Ốc Saté Bơ (saté garlic butter escargot) and Cơm Chiên Crawfish X.O. (crawfish fried rice)—all delicious and well flavored!! And at the end, they give each person a small complimentary bowl of Chè Bắp (Vietnamese sweet corn dessert) which is good!”

“I've been coming to Da Vien Coffee for over a year now. When I say I want Vietnamese coffee, THIS is what I mean. Their cold foams are flavorful and thick. This is my #1 favorite coffee shop in the OC. They specialize in Vietnamese coffee, and they also serve basic coffee, food, and desserts. I have yet to try their food & desserts; only drinks. I've been to both of their locations in Westminster and Garden Grove. Parking: Free parking. Somewhat easy to find on weekdays but more difficult on the weekends. Ambiance/Environment: On weekdays, I notice there is a consistent flow of customers. While on the weekends, they are usually busier. They have a modern, studious, and somewhat spacious environment with indoor & outdoor seating. Service: From my experience, the cashier is always kind and knowledgeable! Baristas are quick and efficient. Throughput is usually under 3 minutes. Drinks: 1) Black Sesame Latte - Phin drip coffee shot with black sesame foam. I really enjoyed the black sesame foam; it's pretty light. Even though it's shots of espresso, this drink is still strong and will keep you awake. 10/10 2) Matcha Foam Coffee - Vietnamese coffee topped with matcha cold foam & espresso powder. As someone who doesn't prefer matcha (don't come for me lol), this drink is perfect for you. The matcha foam isn't too overpowering. You get an equal amount of flavors from the coffee and foam. 10/10 3) Egg Coffee - THIS is my favorite drink! Vietnamese coffee topped with egg foam & cocoa powder. Da Vien actually put me onto egg cold foam. I was sus at first, but omg .. tastes like heaven! 1000/10 4) Da Vien Coffee - Vietnamese coffee topped with macchiato foam & cocoa powder. This is my second favorite drink! If you're not sure what to get and want to try something basic, this drink is the safest way to go. The macchiato foam is delicious and pairs well with the coffee. 10/10 5) Cloudy Ube - Phin drip coffee shot and Ube foam. This is a lighter taste of Ube compared to the Ube Coffee. You get an equal amount of flavors from the Ube and espresso shots. 9/10 6) Peach Tea - Green peach tea with peach slices. Such a refreshing drink! It tastes exactly like how it sounds. 10/10 7) Salted Coffee - Light and creamy coffee topped with salted foam. I believe this drink contains espresso shots over milk. The foam has a good amount of sweet & salt; not too salty. This is another safe drink to go with if you want something basic. 9/10 8) Ube Coffee - Coconut Purple Yam coffee. It's basically Vietnamese coffee topped with Ube foam. If you love Ube, this is the drink for you! The Ube foam is strong and pairs well with the coffee flavor. 10/10 9) Caramel Sprinkle Latte (seasonal) - Phin drip coffee shot with caramel and topped with salted foam. This is a Xmas 2023 drink. Not my favorite drink. The flavors didn't work well together. I felt the caramel syrup tasted weird with the espresso shots. 6.5/10 Pricing: Prices are $$ average. I'd say it's worth the price because their coffee is bomb af. I highly recommend joining their rewards. You receive points, coupons via text, and birthday treats. In the Westminster location, you'd input your phone number through the iPad. In the Garden Grove location, make sure to tell your cashier your phone number after ordering.”

“It is a family owned restaurant serving yummy Vietnamese dishes that are vegan. We love this place. We tried almost everything and each is delicious. The service is a friendly mom and pop restaurant service. They are really accommodating what you need.”

“Service was quick as I was immediately seated at a booth. I ordered garlic fries as my appetizer and a chicken cob salad. The fries were crispy and seasoned well with shredded cheese on top and enough for two or three people. The salad came with generous amounts of grilled chicken, croutons, slice hard boil eggs, an avocado and tomatoes. I chose the citrus vinaigrette as my dressing and the salad alone was enough to keep me full throughout the day.”

“After going to the Garden Amp for a concert, a group of us were looking for a place to grab and drink and a bite to eat. We found this place on Yelp and so we decided to give it a try. This place is in a industrial but the wife and I like dives so we came in. Unfortunately, the owner let us know that the kitchen was closed so I went out to inform our group. We decided to have a drink anyways but when we walked in Paula met us at the door with that huge smile and said that they could offer us a limited. We quickly ordered 5 burgers and fries. BTW, the buns are made there at Henry's, that is a nice and rare move for a small dive bar, right? The beer offerings were pretty decent. I had a Blue Moon and my friends had Fuzzy... something or other. I was laughing and talking so I don't know exactly. My wife did get the Cardiff Cab Sauvignon that was pretty decent. What makes a great dive bar is the crowd and this place had a great group. The table next to us was serenading the room with both Bolero's and some great country hits. Their fun was infectious. “You know how it feels when you have that perfect pancake, or the butter is just melting over every part because it's piping hot, and the smell is just intoxicating, and you pour the syrup over the top and it sucks up the syrup and you get that first bite in this absolutely wonderful, and the second bite is absolutely perfect, and the third bite is absolutely terrific?Come to the omelette house.I haven't even mentioned the omelette yet. The chunks of meat inside of that omelette were so robust that I will be judging every omelette that I eat going forward against what I had today. The flavor was perfect, and the home fries were seasoned amazingly, which surprised me because most places expect you to add salt and pepper on to a already cooling pile of potatoes and peppers. This place seasons their food before they even put it in to cook, and you could taste it.The people are so nice, and the food comes out so quickly that you don't have time to dream about what it might taste like. Next time I come down here, I'll be coming here again. They found a fan in me.”

“Hi! I'm a regular at juice station. I love going here with friends and family. The workers are very sweet and when I call over the phone to place my order they are super friendly. “One thing you have to try here is the Kem Bo or Smashed Avocado with Durian Gelato & Nuts. This is seriously the most addicting dessert. My mom accidentally stumbled into this place with a friend and brought me back a Kem Bo. We're both hooked and we've been going back ever since. I normally don't crave desserts but this one is the exception. I've had vietnamese smashed avocado desserts at other places but this one is one of the best I've ever had. The quality of the durian gelato is fantastic and the nuts complement the dessert well. There is smashed avocado and little cubes of it and it's the perfect mix of both textures. My mom, dad, and aunt all loved it and I can't wait to show more people.”

“I dined in this past Friday and place was good. Mostly, the service and food was on point. I was exceptionally impressed with the service. The server that took care of us was very attentive. She took our order and checked up on us promptly. I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during my meal, and even then, she immediately got me a new pair of chopsticks. I believe that taste is most important for a restaurant, but service must be matched to the qualify of good to have a complete experience. This restaurant offered great food and service. The only thing i'd complain about is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The utensils weren't very clean and had tiny debris on them (probably food particles that weren't washed out) and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant wasn't up to par with food and service.”

Sammii recommended the chicken parmigiana and red velvet cake and it was really delicious. It felt great to get such a friendly welcome upon showing up as well. Sammii was kind, so helpful going way above and beyond to make sure my time there was incredible. Adrianna also took some really great pics that our family loves. “Was staying at the hotel so decided to go for breakfast. Had the breakfast buffet which was a little pricey but did have various options. I did appreciate the omelet/egg station as it allowed you to customize things to order. They had your standard pastry options as well. They over a variety of juices which is also nice. The usual bacon, sausage, fruit was also out for the buffet. Service was a little lacking at the tables as we had to ask for refills multiple times. Everyone was nice though. Worth checking out if you're staying there.”

The tres leches cake is really good it’s right in the middle where it’s perfect. They have all the molds for cakes & so many supplies for you bakers at home. One thing I was kind of disappointed about was the jello even tho it’s good. It doesn’t have enough sugar for my own liking. I got the pork cutlet with cheese curry. The cutlet had the perfect pork to cheese ratio and the cheese was still gooey when I got home. The curry had a mild spice level, to almost very minimal spice. Since I ordered online unsure if you can change the spice level but would love if it were a little spicy! Overall the food is really good and will come back!”

I came here yesterday and bought the 12 piece tray. I selected a variety of cakes and a couple jellos. i must say all of it is so so tasty. the store inside is small and humble, family owned. Appeared clean and service was so kind and helpful. she showed me the different sizes and little cakes i could order. all of which was packed nicely. steamed cakes came with coconut sauce and sesame seeds. Any who the food here is great, its one of those hidden gems, the birria de chivo unlike most places is well prepared it does not leave that after taste, no disrespest to the Birria de res either, its just my choice, the tacos de asada, wow but my all hands down preferrence is the alpastor tacos, its a party in your mouth, quesatacos fire!!! and the tortas no preference I've had them all and cannot choose a favorite I like them all thats why I give this place A MUST TRY RECOMENDATION!”

This set up reduces the number of workers required to operate the front desk efficiently, only 1 cashier and 3 cleaning crew were working to keep everything tidy. By employing fewer workers they may survive, even make a good business in the cut throat Asian buffet market They play Rock and Mexican Banda music fairly loud. I wish they lower the volume a bit The food is surprisingly good with very good varieties, cooked to Mexican taste. Fill your own sodas , included. Very good salad bar with large varieties. Sushi station is small, tastes ok, but with no sashimi people would just take proteins off sushis for themselves. The beef pot roast is tender and the very tasty. This dish alone pays for the meal IMHO . Fried chicken is fairly salty. Could use less salt and more clove or Cummins. Couple indistinct braised pork to crisp, tasteless. There were Cajun shrimp and large crawfish, delish, people were eating large plates. Soups were good, clam chowder uses cream of corn, not dairy cream, smells a little like corn tortillas. Pepper shrimp was good . All stir fried veggies are overcooked to a mush for Mexican taste . The Mongolian station lets you choose proteins and veggies with your own sauce. I told the Mexican cook to do rare red beef, emphasized to him a couple times, but he still way overcooked to tasteless, again per Mexican taste. Very good desert station with cheesecake, cream pie, various cakes, soft ice cream, but very few fruits. Food is fresh and tasty, not over spiced or loaded with sugar or MSG. We were happy with the quality of our meal for this low price, very good value, even free meals on birthdays. This place seems successful with good attendance and low operating cost, but needs to add seafood ceviche for Mexican clients in place of the sushis and rolls. Left a good tip at table for the cheerful cleaning woman. This is now our favorite Asian buffet in OC. Will be back”

I've been to both of their locations in Westminster and Garden Grove. Parking: Free parking. Somewhat easy to find on weekdays but more difficult on the weekends. Ambiance/Environment: On weekdays, I notice there is a consistent flow of customers. While on the weekends, they are usually busier. They have a modern, studious, and somewhat spacious environment with indoor & outdoor seating. Service: From my experience, the cashier is always kind and knowledgeable! Baristas are quick and efficient. Throughput is usually under 3 minutes. Drinks: 1) Black Sesame Latte - Phin drip coffee shot with black sesame foam. I really enjoyed the black sesame foam; it's pretty light. Even though it's shots of espresso, this drink is still strong and will keep you awake. 10/10 2) Matcha Foam Coffee - Vietnamese coffee topped with matcha cold foam & espresso powder. As someone who doesn't prefer matcha (don't come for me lol), this drink is perfect for you. The matcha foam isn't too overpowering. You get an equal amount of flavors from the coffee and foam. 10/10 3) Egg Coffee - THIS is my favorite drink! Vietnamese coffee topped with egg foam & cocoa powder. Da Vien actually put me onto egg cold foam. I was sus at first, but omg .. tastes like heaven! 1000/10 4) Da Vien Coffee - Vietnamese coffee topped with macchiato foam & cocoa powder. This is my second favorite drink! If you're not sure what to get and want to try something basic, this drink is the safest way to go. The macchiato foam is delicious and pairs well with the coffee. 10/10 5) Cloudy Ube - Phin drip coffee shot and Ube foam. This is a lighter taste of Ube compared to the Ube Coffee. You get an equal amount of flavors from the Ube and espresso shots. 9/10 6) Peach Tea - Green peach tea with peach slices. Such a refreshing drink! It tastes exactly like how it sounds. 10/10 7) Salted Coffee - Light and creamy coffee topped with salted foam. I believe this drink contains espresso shots over milk. The foam has a good amount of sweet & salt; not too salty. This is another safe drink to go with if you want something basic. 9/10 8) Ube Coffee - Coconut Purple Yam coffee. It's basically Vietnamese coffee topped with Ube foam. If you love Ube, this is the drink for you! The Ube foam is strong and pairs well with the coffee flavor. 10/10 9) Caramel Sprinkle Latte (seasonal) - Phin drip coffee shot with caramel and topped with salted foam. This is a Xmas 2023 drink. Not my favorite drink. The flavors didn't work well together. I felt the caramel syrup tasted weird with the espresso shots. 6.5/10 Pricing: Prices are $$ average. I'd say it's worth the price because their coffee is bomb af. I highly recommend joining their rewards. You receive points, coupons via text, and birthday treats. In the Westminster location, you'd input your phone number through the iPad. In the Garden Grove location, make sure to tell your cashier your phone number after ordering.”
