I ordered a seasonal Strawberry Brulée Latte (iced) and it was exceptionally pleasant. It was a good and balanced drink. I also tried a sip of the Matcha version, and they made sure the matcha flavor was good and apparent. Would definitely revisit.“

“Most good boba places just do good tea and good boba. That’s it. But this place goes beyond expectation. Their drinks are very thick and used real ingredients. They also have extra healthy drinks that were designed just for their shop.

Their new Korean rice drink was my no1 favorite. I asked for recs and it was not on the menu yet but it’s very good. It smells like hojicha but made of Korean grains. Avocado drink was very good. Best avo drink I’ve had in OC.

Taiyaki was also very good. It’s made fresh at the counter and you could see it. Custard and red bean are my favorite.“

“What I love about this particular tea shop is that they are all about QUALITY and FLAVOR! They take pride in sourcing the best ingredients from around the world, including tea leaves from Taiwan and fresh kumquat juice from Vietnam, which was super cool to learn about. Also did not know that they have over 1,500 locations globally - but they do! We’re lucky to have one in Garden Grove.

My friend and I decided on a honey green tea, matcha snowy, and Oreo snowy. The honey green tea was super refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness (you can adjust the amount of sweetness, too!) The matcha snowy is blended with premium matcha sourced FROM Japan, and if you love Oreos, the Oreo snowy is a thick, frosty TREAT - so rich. Really good, we’ll be back to try more, like their puffy waffles!“

“We ordered take out for lunch from Hoa Sen. We tried their fried soy fish with ginger sauce, stir fried yellow noodles (with chicken and vegetables), rice with veg spare ribs and bbq pork, and a chicken congee with mushrooms. Total came out to $54 which is typical for veg food. The stand out for me was the congee. It is hard to find vegetarian congee that isn't just bland. This one had pieces of chicken and mushrooms and it was so good. The noodles were also great. I like that we got a variety of vegetarian meats. It was a very satisfying meal.“

“Only place we go for Cha Hue. We order $200 or more to ship home. After Covid, it’s TOGO only now. Many Vietnamese specialties made well here. Lots of catering orders. Best Bun Bo Hue in town but you can it at their other location one block south. This one stop we always make when in town.“

“This is a Korean boba tea and cafe with a large seating area extension called orange book club. They have several Korean food items and snacks as well as your typical Asian boba cafe stuff. Many young people come here to study or listen to music or watch videos. The atmosphere and decor is quite cute and inviting. However the seats are not so comfortable so that you don’t stay there all day. There is plenty of parking on the parking lot.“

The vietnamese snacks, though, tend to be pricey compared if you have been to Vietnam . It's hard or not possible to find another place like this, Orange County, I don't live in OC anymore, but I tend to stop by whenever I get a chance to gets those delicious rice paper snacks.

Some of their snacks, I would say, sometimes misses the right amount of fruits like mangos, especially for the prices.“

“Fast services and friendly staff. The ladies always greeted us with their brightest smiles. Roasted pork baguette and egg coffee are worth trying. Also recommend durian coffee for durian lovers. I oftentimes saw them crack fresh durian and put a generous amount on our drink. I have tried most highly rated coffee shops in OC, coffee here are a bit stronger than most. Definitely a hidden gem“
