“Excellent breakfast option in the Irvine and Tustin area. French style cafe with a wide variety of foods, coffees and desserts. I recommend arriving early, the approximate wait in the mornings is 30 minutes to 1 hour. The service is very different from what they provide in the USA, if they clean your table between meals and offer you additional items. Highly recommended“

Having never been here before, I wanted to try to espresso by itself but also wanted to try a seasonal bevvie. He recommended I try the Campfire Capp & that he could do a split shot so I could taste the espresso separately. The Capp was made to perfection*, & the espresso was a lovely Colombian. Our food was very delicious and warm when it got to our table, food took about 10-15 min to arrive, which I find ok because it was busy, but my shake did take longer than expected. “I noticed that one of my icons is for "breakfast burrito" so I thought I'd lean into it, especially since amazing breakfast burritos are found all over Southern California, where I frequently travel for work as a criminal defense lawyer.Anyway, I was at the state court in Santa Ana so i thought I'd try Pop's. It's an old timey diner set up with counter service and a few tables. They have all kinds of breakfast but I was here for the burrito, which I got with ham. This was a gringo style breakfast burrito, the best example of the genre is Ham n Scram in Westminster. It had the chopped up ham, hash browns, cheesish, eggs and a Pico de Gallo with Tapatio in a bottle. The ingredients were pretty obviously Sysco, which is fine. A little heavy on the hashbrowns, which were also a tad undercooked, but I devoured it and the five stars speaks for itself.Vegetarian options: Eggs!Dietary restrictions: Dairy, glutenParking: Street parkingKid-friendliness: Sure.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables in front“

“Mexican food culture at its finest! ? Took me almost a whole year for everything to align for me to be here and experience the magic of "Café Cultura." A coffee house like no other. Everything from the decor, service, and food was amazingly good! I dare say the golden staple of what a coffee ☕️ house should be like. If you're looking for mediocre, go to Starbucks (oops! “I was looking for breakfast and found Lakeside Cafe. I ordered a Mexican omelet. No photo because I was hungry and just started eating. The omelet was the best I have had since moving to OC a year ago. It was clean and not swimming in grease. They served toast, which came buttered and had guava jelly on it. The coffee was also delicious. A great place for a weekday breakfast or lunch.“

“My mom worked at Santa Ana College where this cart is located. She LOVED her coffee. When the time came to plan her Celebration of Life, an event which we planned at the College, we knew we needed to get a coffee cart there to serve her favorite coffee beverages. Scott, the owner, was extremely polite, professional and pleasant to deal with, and also extremely sensitive to the nature of the event, which I really appreciated. The cart served 150++ people at our event. I heard RAVE reviews about the "best ice blended drinks" people had ever had. The barista was polite, worked extremely hard even in sweltering weather, came early to set up and stayed late for the last few people to get their drinks. I highly recommend The Drip for your private events, and I've heard from lots of friends that are planning to stop by the college just to get another ice blended coffee drink. Thank you, Scott and The Drip coffee staff. My mom would had loved that you guys were at this event!“

“This is one of my favorite taco trucks in OC. I hadn't been in a few years as my family moved, and I was so happy to see they're still serving amazing tacos in the location I used to frequent a few times a week. All of their meats are delicious, but I've found no other local spot that offers surtido, and let me tell you it's off the charts delicious and melts like butter in your mouth! Not to mention they have amazing salsa to really round out the flavors. The area can br a bit questionable after sunset, but just close your eyes and enjoy your meal! ? I'm already looking forward to my next visit!“

“Tucked away in an apartment complex (Broadstone Arden) is a little modern coffee shop that has now won my patronage. Everything about this place screams what commoners do at Starbucks, but at a much better clip.First you know they mean business because they have their own beans. Like most spots they'll have a light, medium, and dark roast. My friend did a pour over (Market Price) of their medium roast. Slight acidic, fruity ending, light and crisp. Delicious.I got the Spanish Coffee which has condensed milk, whole milk, and cinnamon. Very light and delicious. We both got the blonde ale, and I love a good beer for breakfast. They've got craft beers for sale, and a couple of them on tap.Everyone working was super nice, easy to ask for the WiFi password, and it quickly got busy inside after 10am on a Friday. So if you need a dedicated spot to churn out your next screen play, compile your next DJ Set, or catch up with friends (All was happening here while me and my friend sat) then come early!“
