“A great breakfast spot. Busy yet quick to serve. They mean business :-). Serving up breakfast quick without making guests feel rushed. Delicious, will be back. The staff kindly greeted us, apologized for the wait, then served up our meals in a snap.“
“I've been here twice so far and have yet to be disappointed. I love to go for brunch so that's where most of my experience focuses on. They have unique and super yummy options. The waffle and french toast are both great. My friend even got the gluten free waffle and loved it, said she was still thinking about it two days later. I know it's a weird thing to focus on, but also love their bacon...it's so crispy and thin, which is great. It's a super cute atmosphere, inside and out. Very dog friendly with the patio seating and the service is always amazing. Super attentive and friendly. Always feel welcomed. I could go on and on...just give it a try, you won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: They seem to have a wide variety of dietary restriction options, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.Parking: It's downtown Santa Ana so parking is paid, but at least it's less expensive than LA parking. Both street and a parking garage are nearby, very walkable“
“Food was great, service was immediate and top notch. Food came out quick. Went outside to have some coffee and water afterwards and enjoy the sun and felt very comfortable despite the speeding cars and traffic zooming by. Great patio space. Recommend for lunchtime with co workers and friends when rushed.“
“Birthday brunch with the cousins today. This was on our list of places to try so we went for it.Chilaquiles were ordered twice, with substitutions, waffles for the birthday girl and the farmer John’s special for me.Order a Diet Coke and they handed me a bottle of DC with a glass of ice. Bummer. I love fountain drinks. The chilaquiles had a hint of cinnamon in the sauce. Not a fan of adding cinnamon and it took away some of the flavor. HUGE skillet full. It’s a ton of food. Tables are too small for such big plates! The Farmer John’s plate was good but lacked flavor. Needed salt & pepper but we didn’t ask for any.Waffles were good when whipped cream and a side of berries were added. The server was great but we had to keep asking for ice tea refills. It was fresher brewed tea so it was hot so we needed to keep asking for ice. One of the servers made a crazy eyed face at us!The butter for my toast was served as a small ball in a large metal cup. The ketchup was half full in a small metal cup. Perhaps they should switch the small & large cups and maybe fill them up a little more? Maybe they are conserving since people are wasteful. All in all it was good, not great.“
“Just want to give a shout out to the staff works here their friendly very helpful but I'm here for the food I always order the breakfast bagel with a vanilla latte very tasty the ingredients are from the chart just done right/ thank you to the workers for Their good service, they are friendly, how delicious the food is, ordered the breakfast bagel and a vanilla latte. The ingredients are so fresh, delicious, I recommend this place to everyone.“
“We came in on Saturday and the place is pretty packed. The waiting time was around 20-40 minutes. We ordered Drew’s Biscuit Sliders come with 2 of Mama's famous bacon biscuits, stuffed with sausage (you can choose other protein options like their fried chicken, bacon, etc.), 2 Scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese, Mama's potatoes, Mama's country gravy. The gravy is kind of bland on its own, but once you eat it with the biscuit sliders, it complements each other very well. One more thing worth noting, the Mama’s potatoes that come with it are AMAZING, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and so flavorful!?The other dish we ordered is Mama’s Famous Chicken N’ Waffle, the chicken is a little bit dry, but the gravy that comes with it kind of helps. The waffle though, is so good with maple sauce.(Follow on instagram @hangrytrails.us for more SoCal foods)“
“1st time here from a friend suggestion- food excellent, pancakes were in top 10% and would be hard not to order again. Maybe try French Toast next time or the great looking waffle.Nina was patient and attentive wile waiting tables solo with a fairly full house. Good sense of humor. Will be adding Orange Cafe to breakfast haunts.-Rich“
“Server: Madison - She's so amazing and lovely and attentive (but not overly)! Also, a winning personality and very hospitable. Food: 1) House Burger w/ Gluten Free Bun - So tasty! The chef(s) are absolute flavor artists. Love is in all their food creations. (Gluten free bun is NOT dull and dry, it's one of the good ones). 2) Crispy Rice/Spicy Albacore - Dude, what the heck!? We've had these apps at every restaurant that has them and for me this was the best creation/version. It was diced fish, not 'finely minced' like other places, with yummy sauce and red pepper flakes (nice touch!) on immaculately seared rice patties! Ambiance: Outdoor eating area has heaters for when it's chillier, and it's very floral and nature'y. Lovely! Prices:Reasonable for the level of effort put into the food! Love this place.“
“We were heading out of town and wanted a quick breakfast that was not fast food. We shared the Crocker Classic breakfast and there was more than enough for 2 people. Loved the potatoes. The cafe is very cute inside and outside; only 2 tables inside but many more outdoors. Onsite parking is limited but you can park in the neighborhood or just ride your bike/e-bike here. We didn't order anything from the bakery but everything in the case looked delicious and tempting!“
“Nice brunch place that has the classics and specialities, with a Filipino and even American trendy brunch style twist, but at slightly lower to comparable prices to other brunch spots.Everything we tried was done perfectly, I especially loved the Birria chilaquiles ($18, not too bad a price for being a huge, shareable portion). We liked the ube cold brew ($7) and even the regular hot coffee (only $3) was very good, as was the ube horchata ($4).The online waitlist is a nice feature, we joined the waitlist on the way over around 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday and were seated immediately“
“This is my wifes favorite breakfast spot. Might be one of the few places that can make decent grits in OC. It is always busy and you will always wait for a table. My only critiques... its too dang loud, emo music, and the food is too good for you guys to be serving cheap OJ from a plastic gallon jug, so that doesn't pair well.“
“Great little brunch spot! They seem to be known for their shaved ice but their breakfast items are amazing! The avo toast has delicious ricotta on top. They also have an amazing french toast and other items. The macaron flavors are also super underrated! It's about $45-50 for a couple with coffee drinks and breakfast.“
“This is the best fast food place I have been to in years! I rarely eat fast food anymore and when I do it always reminds me why I don't!I have been here several times this year. It is CONSISATANTLY Fresh, and delicious! It isn't greasy and the onion rings are perfect! The Ortega burger is my Fav. But all of the burgers are good! I don't write reviews that are long like this unless I am 100% impressed! In addition to all that the staff is kind and friendly! You can't go wrong here!“
“I loved Nikki’s! We were on vacation and planned the restaurants we wanted to try well in advance prior to based on reviews and research. I’m so glad we made this one—it was really good! From the fast, friendly service to the well portioned and fresh food, I would recommend Nikki’s for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Generous portions and reasonably priced. #Delish:)!I’m annoyed with myself for forgetting the name of the lovely young lady that took our order. She was extremely nice and made my family feel welcomed!“
“Cozy Brunch Spot with Room for ImprovementEveryday Eatery in Sand Canyon Plaza offers a cozy cafe vibe and a healthy brunch menu that hits the spot.?️ Delicious Brunch Fare: From avocado toast to hot cakes and waffles, the brunch options were delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. The variety of drinks, including iced matcha latte, americano, and Earl Grey tea, catered to different tastes.? Casual and Friendly Atmosphere: The cafe exudes a casual and friendly vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends. The patio seating adds to the relaxed ambiance, making it an enjoyable spot to spend time.? Staff Service: However, I found the staff to be lacking in friendliness and could benefit from more training in customer service. Improving staff interactions would enhance the overall experience for guests.? Clean Facilities: On a positive note, the washroom was clean, reflecting the restaurant's attention to hygiene.? Reasonable Prices: The prices were reasonable, offering value for money considering the quality of the food and atmosphere.? Plan to Return: Despite the minor issues with staff friendliness, I plan to return to Everyday Eatery to try more of their food. I'll update my review next time based on my experience.Overall, Everyday Eatery is a charming brunch spot with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. With a little improvement in staff training, it has the potential to become a top choice for brunch enthusiasts in the area.Parking: free parking lotWheelchair accessibility: yes“
“Honestly the name says it all, this place is definitely a great joy to have a bite at. Cozy and at the same time cute and warm.I think this is a must visit when coming to down town Fullerton.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetation and vegan selectionParking: Free street parking if 15 min or 2 hours and parking lot a little far from the place but decent distance.“
“Egg LXII is located underground in Bloomingdale's. There's plenty of parking but if you want to get here quick the parking lot by Bloomingdale's is by far your best bet. We got the breakfast egg sandwich, as the name of the restaurant is about...eggs. The eggs were a little salty in the sandwich, but they were still fluffy. They have a pretty extensive menu and different options for burgers.“
“5 stars alllll day. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Literally the best steak and eggs. I've been to every fancy hotel and breakfast place in California. I've paid $150 for steak and eggs multiple times and NONE of it compares to the steak and eggs here. Literally nooooo comparison. Anytime I eat steak and eggs somewhere else, I instantly regret it. The customer service is impeccable. You don't leave here feeling bloated. The food here is made with the best ingredients. The environment is great. Poached kitchen for the win. I eat here everyday. It never gets old. Everything on the menu is great. The best steak and eggs ever.“
“came on a sunday & was able to get seated right away due to opting for an outdoor table. Food was phenomenal & one of the best flavors I've had in awhile. I got the breakfast bowl & the taste was just awesome. Inside was super crowded so glad we sat outside. Waiters were okay, but the food made it worth while. I would definitely recommend despite it being on the pricier side.“
“The STAFF are friendly, productive, helpful and attentive. The decor and vibe inside is cool. The wife got UBE BLUEBERRY FRENCH TOAST. She destroyed her plate and loved it. I got a minute taste and I can see why. I opted for the ORANGE CHICKEN AND WAFFLE w/vanilla butter (specks of vanilla bean in it) and maple syrup. The chicken was nicely cooked and it had a thicker darker tasty breaded crust on it. The butter is not sweet or overly bold with vanilla but vanilla is a softer scent and flavor oftentimes. It adds a very nice touch to this combo of sniffs and tastes. A great rendition of this brunch classic. RATING = A VANILLA LATTE (HOT): -- good vanilla sniff and taste -- quality coffee -- I have never heard of Jone's Coffee Roasters but I saw the bag on their shelving so I will look into it online. They have other tasty beverages they offer including alcoholic creations. The lines are not short, especially on a Saturday, so plan accordingly. Thankfully they under promised and over delivered on the wait time so we ate sooner than anticipated.“
“Excellent breakfast option in the Irvine and Tustin area. French style cafe with a wide variety of foods, coffees and desserts. I recommend arriving early, the approximate wait in the mornings is 30 minutes to 1 hour. The service is very different from what they provide in the USA, if they clean your table between meals and offer you additional items. Highly recommended“
