“You can tell that the owner puts a lot of love and attention to his creations. I had the strawberry croissant today and oh my God it was the greatest thing I've ever had. I usually have the avocado toast with the smoked salmon on top and it's to die for. this morning I tried the Maki out over the first time and I am obsessed. The owner told me that he spends the spices on his own. everyone who bakes, there and works there really puts a lot of heart into this. and the owner is super sweet too!“

“Such a sweet gem! Great selection of food and baked goods. Best green sauce (made in-house) I’ve ever had. Two separate seating areas in garden setting. One in front and one and back and couple of inside tables. Good amount of shade. A few parking spots in the back. Not crowded. We got here at 9:45 on a Sunday morning. it was the perfect breakfast for a little family.. Great coffee!“

“So glad to see The Pocket has reopened on Monrovia (formerly Outpost Kitchen). Made my first visit since they’re back and had an excellent Brekky sandwich with really fresh, delicious ingredients. As an Aussie, I’ve missed having access to food like this. The coffee is great, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is funky and welcoming. Easy parking out front is a nice bonus.

“Just a wonderful dining experience! We had a big group (7 adults/3 kids) and they sat us immediately! We ordered quickly and got our food fast! The servers were so kind and attentive and the food was AMAZING! The pancakes are fluffy and delicious and the omelets are so tasty and filled with toppings! We will be back!“
