This was the best breakfast experience I've had in a long time. A coworker and I were in town for travel and happened to stop in. Crocker's had amazing food, fantastic customer service and the cutest atmosphere. The bakery items were fresh and warm and their chilaquiles were delicious!
Breakfast Biscuit. This place is very easy to miss, located right across from Mother's Market. There's tiny dirt parking lot but you may want to park in the neighboring side streets for more maneuverability. Especially if you have a large vehicle. Their breakfast biscuit sandwich is outstanding and ginormous. After taking a few bites, I barely made a dent in it. They have patio seating and lots of baked goods.
For a place that says it's been around almost 100 years, Crocker's was still a find for me in Costa Mesa. It turns out the original Crocker's started down around the corner on the Newport Peninsula therefore their start in 1927. But if you enjoy a funky little old house and garden for dining, this is your place. The feel is much more than just home. The feel is more like Grandma's home.
