We were heading out of town and wanted a quick breakfast that was not fast food. We shared the Crocker Classic breakfast and there was more than enough for 2 people. Loved the potatoes. The cafe is very cute inside and outside; only 2 tables inside but many more outdoors. Onsite parking is limited but you can park in the neighborhood or just ride your bike/e-bike here. We didn't order anything from the bakery but everything in the case looked delicious and tempting!

A quintessential home town coffee shop! First of all, let's start with the location. It's in an easy to get to location on 19th street with a few parking spots in the back and street parking. It's a small yellow house so it's very charming. There is a garden in the back, a front patio and a few seats inside as well. The food menu has a lot of items but the girl working was happy to explain and give recommendations on her favorite items and the most popular ones too. I got a breakfast biscuit with egg, bacon, cheese and avocado with a dirty chai latte. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and the food came quickly too! The chai was good and just a touch too sweet for my taste. I'd love to return and try more items from the menu and the pastry case because everything looked delicious!

Such a wonderful hidden gem in Balboa Island. I'm slowly making my way through the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. This trip I had what was clearly the best clam chowder in OC! Seriously..... the fried zucchini was delicious too! Great flavor!

Croker's looked like a house with garden theme outside dining areas in the front and back.Breakfast BTLA Sando (buns, egg, bacon, tomato, chipotle aioli, avocado) - this was a good size, scrumptious breakfast sandwich, that had a nice home-made felt to it.Chicago Dog (Vienna beef brisket sausage, pickle spear, relish, tomato, onion, celery, salt, mustard sport peppers, on a poppy bun) - just a regular Chicago style dog that you can get from some normal hot dog stands... a little better than chain fast food dogs.

I've been here maybe a dozen times and the food and atmosphere are always great. My last 3 visits the service has been "eh". For example , I told server I was sharing a sandwich when I ordered. She brought out ONE basket and ONE napkin. Also , asked for a cup of ice to go with my canned beverage . I had to go in and ask a 2nd time as server was talking to coworker about AAA appointment . It just seems like the servers feel no sense of urgency nor do they feel compelled to offer good customer service . I hope the owner , who is always sweet, has a chat with service stafff.

Great casual atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Had the wet Santa Fe burrito and it was delicious. Just the right amount of spicy and the eggs and potatoes were perfectly cooked.

This cafe is superb! The breakfast BLTA was tasty. I also had the higher chai latte with the Bailey's. The vibe inside was cozy and there were great spots to sit outside.

What a fantastic setting, and the food is terrific. Biscuits and gravy served traditionally with eggs right on top, love it! I cleaned the entire plate. Wife's croissant was delicious. The big, fresh pieces of ham are outstanding. The plants shield you from the close street and keep a quaint feeling. We'll be back for sure. Counter person was very friendly and even gave us a complimentary cinnamon role after learning it was our first time. What a "sweet" gesture. Pun intended.

Cute concept but food was meh. Scrambled eggs were dry, toast was cold, and nothing really had any flavor. Two of us ate and for $38, I expected to at least have hot food. Service, there wasn't any. Waited forever to order. The atmosphere was nice but that was about it. We won't be back. Once was enough.
