“Came in yesterday around 1:30 after doing our taxes a couple blocks away. Ordered the bacon breakfast burrito - no Pico de gallo. Burrito was excellent and portion size was also very good. Salsa that came on the side was really good. We will stop here again when in the area 👍🤙“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in the area, hands down. I work remotely and stop by multiple times a week to get out of the house. They have super fun seasonal drinks, amazing flavored cold foam, and strong high quality coffee. Plus no upcharges for alternative milks. Pastries are delicious and so are their breakfast burritos.

Beyond the fantastic drinks and food, the staff is incredibly nice and part of the reason I keep coming back. Hospitality makes a huge difference, and they're doing it right. Absolutely no notes!“

I wanted to try the suggestion from the reviews of cold foam on top of the iced chai, and the sweet barista made me both a regular iced chai and a second chai with the cold foam so I could try both options. Both are very good, but highly recommend the cold foam for a little sweet with the spicy! The service and atmosphere were also great, can’t wait to come back!“

The people are super nice. This place is a hidden gem in Costa Mesa. I come here for breakfast mostly but they have a great burger for lunch and don't get me started on their coffee. “Anvi's Cafe brightened up my day when everything was going down hill.
After bringing my car to get serviced at a local dealership, I got a call from the restaurant I worked at that we had suddenly closed. I needed a pick-me-up and had heard of Anvi's and figured I should give it a try. Best thing to come out of that day! I got their matcha mango latte and their garlic noodles with beef. They added a generous portion of beef to the noodles and the matcha was made with fresh mango chunks, and everything was delicious. The service was also stellar, the staff was very attentive and polite. No notes, 5/5 experience, I will DEFINITELY be back!“

“Having breakfast at Tiffany’s used to be a New York bucket list item for me until Tiffany & Co. opened up a Blue Box Cafe in their South Coast Plaza location. The menu was curated by Chef Daniel Boulud, most known for his Michelin starred restaurant Daniel in NYC.

To say that reservations are “available” on Resy is a bit of a stretch. Yes, Resy is the platform Blue Box uses to manage reservations, but times are seemingly unavailable until the day of or the day before. Walk-ins are also subject to availability. We tried to call to call the cafe to ask for clarification on reservation times and walk-in availability, but no one ever picked up. Planning our visit was honestly quite a pain. We ended up just booking a reservation the same day instead of waiting until the weekend like we wanted to in case reservations wouldn’t be available.

Upon arrival at Tiffany’s, staff greeted us and led us through the jewelry store to the back where Blue Box cafe was located. We checked in with the host and were led to our table. The inside of the cafe is, of course, speckled with Tiffany blue. The atmosphere felt posh and elegant, yet light and open.

Although “breakfast” at Tiffany’s is the namesake of the cafe, we opted for their afternoon tea service instead. I had the earl grey while my friend had the white wedding. I quite enjoyed the white wedding tea as it was light and had notes of camellia. In addition to tea, the service includes complementary bread, scones, and a three-tiered tea tray with the works.

The bread was fantastic. Mini baguettes served with Tiffany butter. The butter, stamped with the Tiffany T, was rich and perfectly salted.

The scones were amazing as well. Warm, perfectly soft. Served with double cream, strawberry jam, and orange marmalade. I really liked the scones with the cream and strawberry jam. I wasn’t a huge fan of the orange marmalade as it was a bit bitter.

The sandwiches and savories were for the most part, alright. I really liked the chicken curry & mango chutney. Instead of bread, it was served in a little pani puri half shell. I loved the crispy base, and it contrasted greatly with the rest of the sandwiches as I found a few of them suffering from a case of soggy bread.

The desserts were hit or miss. I really enjoyed the vanilla passionfruit choux. The flavors were very balanced and the tartness of the passionfruit really popped out. The blackberry cheesecake was also very good. The desserts using white chocolate, however, were very waxy. They were definitely pretty, encased in a chocolate shell colored the iconic Tiffany blue, but they just were not palatable at all. It seemed like for some desserts, priority was given to visual appeal rather than taste.

Although our experience at Blue Box Cafe was not perfect, we still had a lovely afternoon tea. I’m glad I got to check this experience off my bucket list and live my Audrey Hepburn fantasy.“

“Loved this cute little spot. I went with family on a Sunday for brunch. There was a bit of a wait (about 45 mins), but sooo worth it! I got the Huevos Rancheros and it was delicious! Just the right amount of heat and the fries had just the right amount of seasoning. We sat outside with the nice fall breeze and it was perfect. I would definitely check this place out again!“

“Such a sweet gem! Great selection of food and baked goods. Best green sauce (made in-house) I’ve ever had. Two separate seating areas in garden setting. One in front and one and back and couple of inside tables. Good amount of shade. A few parking spots in the back. Not crowded. We got here at 9:45 on a Sunday morning. it was the perfect breakfast for a little family.. Great coffee!“

“Whenever I’m at South Coast Plaza, I often come to this Quattro Cafe. I’ve been here many times, but this is actually my first time leaving a review.

This time, we ordered the pepperoni pizza, beef lasagna, and seafood pasta. Honestly, the pizza was just okay. If you asked me if I would order it again next time, probably not. My son actually wanted pizza, which is why we came here today, but even he said the pizza wasn’t that great and ended up liking the beef lasagna much more.

The beef lasagna was really good, and the seafood pasta was definitely my favorite. It had a little bit of a spicy kick, just enough to give it some heat, and it was really flavorful.

I’ve tried different dishes here on my previous visits, and overall, the food has always been good. I would definitely come back—I'd just skip the pizza next time!“

We ordered the Breakfast Burrito, which was incredibly satisfying. The portion size is generous, the ingredients are fresh, and every bite offers a wonderful depth of flavor. I also highly recommend the Steak and Fries—the steak was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, and the fries topped with cheese were absolutely addictive.
As for the drinks, I went with the Hawaii Cowboy Coffee, which was a standout. The flavor profile is unique, rich, and aromatic—the perfect refreshing pick-me-up that paired beautifully with the food.

“This is a fun experience. The kitchen is staffed with Culinary students and the front of the house is staffed with Food and Beverage management students. It's fun to see this new generation spread their wings. I came with my friend and we both have worked in the Restaurant industry and worked at Chefs so it was interesting and fun to observe. Reservations are very tough to get but if you can get one, it's fun and something very different.“

“The cakes and tarts are great, but unfortunately they don't have an oven and don't heat up their croissants! Which is a bummer because cold and stale aren't the best. But other pastries like mille feuille and lemon tart were incredible. Best mille feuille I've had in OC! There's no place to sit inside the cafe, but you can take your food and pastries to the general complex with portola etc, and there's lots of open seating spaces there“

“I needed a quiet spot to study as my mom and sister went to shop for family. This cafe generously provided a warm decaf oat milk latte that helped me get through a long evening. There’s comfy, well kept seating nearby with small tables and chairs to work. Service was polite, kind, and awesome. I loved the presentation of everything.
